14/09/2025: We arrived in Puglia yesterday and were hungry. Restaurants here naturally open later than in Germany. Calogero opens as early as 7:00 PM, and the reviews were very good. Absolutely right. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation. If you're looking for a sea view, you've obviously come to the wrong place. But the food is excellent. We had Scottish beef tagliata, grilled and fried vegetables, a pizza, wine, water, a sorbet, and espressos. All of the finest quality. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. Of course, there was also water for our dog. We will definitely visit the restaurant again. Many thanks to the whole team. Continued success. 12/10/2025: A very traditional pizzeria in the center of Bisceglie. Nine of us came on a Saturday night and found the place quite crowded, but we had a relatively short wait to get in. The interior, however, is quite oppressive and doesn't allow for a full enjoyment of the evening. I ordered a pizza and it arrived almost burnt, but the staff was very quick and friendly and brought me a remade one. Very good pizza, highly recommended.

13/01/2026: I really would have liked to give much more, but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to my expectations. The quality of the meat is unquestionable; it's incredibly fresh, excellent, and there's a wide selection. I tried the raw sausage and really enjoyed it. The service was perfect, attentive, warm, and friendly. We spoke at length with the waiters and the owner, and they were delightful people. Everything took a long time, however, so much so that we had already finished all our drinks with the dishes still to come, and the wait wasn't very pleasant. Above all, they were a bit sloppy with the cooking methods: some were too undercooked, others (for me, most) too overcooked, which made the excellent meat a bit too tough. Some of the meatballs, like the lime one, had a really bad flavor. And I didn't like the strips at all; they were greasy and fried in very heavy oil. The appetizers (or side dishes, depending on the dish), which were basically excellent, with simple and delicious local produce, were prepared in advance, and the garlic and vinegar covered everything. Ultimately, the flavors of the quality ingredients were ruined. Three stars for a place that could potentially be worthy of ten is a real shame. I don't know, I'd be curious to return for a second chance; maybe I just had a bad night.

04/02/2026: Exceptional value for money. You can eat well with the 15 euro menu, featuring fish or meat, and a quarter of wine included. Clean atmosphere, very friendly service. Everything perfect.

25/01/2026: Orecchiette alla leccese, horsemeat stew with tomato sauce... It's practically like eating at your mom's or grandma's 😅. Rich flavors and generous portions, super-fast service, and a friendly atmosphere guaranteed. And the profiterole was a fitting end to a low-cost lunch (€20 per person) topped off with the joy of seeing so many young people working hard to give customers the best possible experience. I'll be back.

27/12/2025: I came here with high expectations, driven by the excellent reviews and the fame of Martina Franca's meat. And I have to tell you the truth: the meat is good. The bombette were tasty and the sausage well-seasoned. If it were just for the food, my rating would definitely be higher. But unfortunately, eating at a restaurant is a complete experience, and here the organization is completely lacking. We booked for 9:00 PM, but they didn't seat us until after 9:45 PM, leaving us standing in the confusion without even a "sorry." Once we were seated, chaos ensued: waiters rushing around but seemingly ignoring our table. We had to ask for menus three times, and water arrived when we'd almost finished our appetizer. What bothered me most, however, was the attitude: hasty, almost annoyed. I understand the place is busy, but a smile or a modicum of customer service should never be lacking, especially if I'm paying (and the bill wasn't exactly cheap, as I expected for a steakhouse). In conclusion: if you want to buy meat at the counter and cook it at home, I highly recommend it. But if you want a pleasant, relaxed evening dinner, there are better options out there. A shame, a missed opportunity.

07/12/2025: Lived up to expectations. The roast beef, bombette, zampina sausage, and capocollo were excellent, and the house desserts were special. Even though the place was packed today for Sunday lunch, the staff was courteous and always smiling.
