31/05/2025: Great place to have lunch, or dinner both during lunch break and in the evening after a nice walk. The service is fast and the staff is always available. The prices are also quite fair.

26/07/2025: Excellent classic pastry shop. The girls are very kind, know how to smile, and make excellent coffee. The location, while central and convenient, is a bit out of the way, protecting it from the crowds of flip-flop-wearing tourists. Highly recommended.

04/08/2025: Incredible spot for lunch, super affordable, quick service, and a great daily menu. We came a few times and tried the farro, couscous, nettle gnocchi, and Caesar salad. The highlight for me was definitely the nettle gnocchi, something special I haven’t seen anywhere else. Also, they bring out a homemade black focaccia with every meal and it’s seriously delicious.

19/08/2025: On Sunday evening, returning from the beach, I bought five arancini (two with ragù and peas, and three with ham and mozzarella), one scamorza and salami croquette, potato croquettes for the kids, and a calzone. Excellent value for money. Superlatives, nothing more to add.

27/07/2025: In a very simple setting (but with a cloth tablecloth), the menu offers a few courses that vary throughout the weeks. It's mostly fish, but also features a few meat dishes. I go there about once a year and always enjoy the well-prepared dishes, whether it's the traditional fried fish or the chef's more unusual creations. The informal but always friendly waiters make guests feel at ease.

01/07/2025: A quiet place to spend an evening in company. Very characteristic atmosphere, friendly and easy-going staff, young and full of energy, it also offers a large number of board games to spend the evening with. The large parking lot helps to make it enjoyable. There is space both outside in the open air and inside, the music they choose is fantastic. The food is quality, prepared by them and at very low prices compared to the average. My girls love it and so do we who can afford a "grown-up" place also suitable for children without spending a huge amount. The choice of selected and always different beers makes everything even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

27/07/2025: Posto con prezzi senza senso, un toast tipo quello fatto in casa minuscolo 6 euro. Focaccia ripiena grande costa mdno. Ma al di la di questa premessa il cibo è buono il problema grande è il personale. Mi avvicino al bancone la signorina s mi guarda con un fare antipatico e mi intima di fare per prima lo scontrino mi giro con garbo le rispondo certamente stavo solo vedendo cosa prendere . alla cassa dopo aver fatto la fila finalmente arriva il mio turno la cassiera inizia a parlare con una signora del più e del meno incurante della mia attesa. Passo al reparto pasticceria quello che avevo pagato nel frattempo lo avevano venduto Chiedo alla signora cosa di simile potessero propormi si gira scocciata e mi fa Non So guardi lei intanto vado avanti con la fila quando ha scelto mi dice . Personale lento, incapace e soprattutto mai sorridente.

01/08/2025: A charming place with both indoor and outdoor seating, located a few hundred meters from the seafront. The service was quick, courteous, and efficient. The two first courses (seafood carbonara and black tagliolini alla pescatora) were excellent and tasty. On the waiter's recommendation, we then ordered the fried anchovies. Everything was very pleasant and plentiful.

30/07/2025: I had already eaten at this place a couple of years ago and, even if it was nothing special, the food was good and pleasant, the service good and efficient, the location spartan but... like all the others of that level in that location. Now, without wanting to be harsh because anything could have happened in the kitchen, including a possible absence - otherwise unexplained - of the chef or whoever, two Sundays ago we went back but, alas, it was a bit of a disaster... bland and unappealing appetizers, a substantial obstacle: spaghetti all'olio, two mussels and two clams (since when have clams?), the fried food was saved... in any case, a bad evening. I repeat, something could have also happened in the kitchen but, they should have at least told us after we asked: "Is everything okay? We had pointed out the obstacle... nonexistent!"

16/07/2025: Always a guarantee at Filippo's! Delicious scampi carpaccio, beautifully presented, a shame to eat! The rest was equally delicious. Everything was prepared with extreme simplicity but with refined taste. The waiters and chef were equally excellent! In short, highly recommended.

16/07/2025: Unfortunately disappointed despite high expectations; food good and well prepared but not at exceptional levels. Excellent wine list. Inaccurate service. In my personal experience, the year 2024, my wife's birthday, I booked the birthday cake and a bouquet of flowers on the restaurant's website and paid the advance; at the time of dinner there was no cake, no bouquet of flowers, nor did they see that I had paid 150 in advance. Unpleasant indeed, and birthday ruined. The very kind owner apologized by giving away a bottle of medium quality champagne but it certainly doesn't solve the problem. Average high price. To be reevaluated

10/07/2025: Durante nuestra visita a Lucca, almorzamos en este bar. No puedo encontrarle ninguna pega a la comida Italiano . Mucha variedad y un ambiente limpio. Ideal para sentarse y refrescarse de manera rápida y sencilla. Lo usaría otra vez

Thank you so much for a wonderful evening! A must-visit if you're in Lucca. I had a Campari Spritz for the sultry evening and it was completely satisfying! Thanks again!
