06/09/2025: Exceptional Refined cuisine with local products and made with great passion. Everything was excellent and beautifully presented. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and out, and well-served, with plenty of light and a modern, cheerful, and soundproof atmosphere. The staff was friendly, quick, and courteous. My only complaint was that I would have given a little more importance to the local wine, given the menu, but nothing negative; the selection is extensive and well-managed. A 10-star experience. I will recommend this place and will definitely return much more often.

04/09/2025: Excellent location in the Lucca hills. Simple menu...I had a salad with fresh fruit, nuts, and cheese. Their wine is excellent. The service could be improved.

07/09/2025: I booked through TheFork and was contacted by the manager to cancel and make the reservation directly with him. He would have given me a small discount. We were a group of about ten people, some of whom were from abroad and accustomed to high-quality dishes. I recommend trying a typical Tuscan dish, ribollita. I've never eaten something so bland, I felt ashamed as if I'd cooked it myself. Those who ordered the appetizers with Colonnata lardo were satisfied. Those who ordered the spaghetti with scampi described their dishes as average. The service was attentive, but it didn't make up for the quality of the dishes. When it came time to pay, I felt cheated. I wanted to buy lunch, but I couldn't pay by credit card because the POS wasn't working. Not having enough cash and the impossibility of finding an ATM in the pouring rain outside, I was forced to take up a collection. We got the promised discount because we didn't have the requested total. This is definitely not the image I wanted to convey of Tuscan restaurants. What a shame!

02/10/2025: Good coffee, tasty pastries but very unfriendly staff. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but they look very annoyed as I simply asked them if I could have some salt and answered me very sarcastic and rude.

23/09/2025: Aperitif on Tuesday at 1:00 PM 2 Campari Spritzes for €16. We're in Lido di Camaire, which isn't even marked on the map. Crazy stuff!

24/09/2025: A real hidden gem. Quite expensive but the price was reflected in the quality. An extensive wine list which didn’t disappoint. The ravioli was perfect.

16/09/2025: Wonderful, highly recommended! Beautiful ambiance, creative cuisine, a wine list up to 5 stars, excellent regional dishes, and excellent fish and meat dishes. Service was very attentive but not intrusive, and the final touch was an espresso biscotti. Thank you very much.

26/09/2025: The first courses are definitely worth a try, as they're truly delicious. The same can't be said for the second courses, where both the portions and the quality are significantly reduced! The only thing that makes me frown a little, in my opinion, is what I assume is the owner, who you can hear shouting her business from behind the counter, talking to this person or that. The excessive chatter makes it feel like you're really at a market, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful meal. The prices are definitely too high for the service offered!

19/07/2025: A very relaxing evening at La Quercia, in an evocative setting where you immediately feel at ease. The cuisine is of good quality, prepared with appropriate techniques and beautifully presented. The service is good quality in an elegant and peaceful setting. I recommend it.

08/09/2025: I needed some pastries to take to a friend's for lunch, and after searching on Maps, I decided to stop here. Although the place was quite crowded, the staff was quick and courteous in serving me. The selection of small pastries isn't huge, but it's still varied. Some of the pastries were really small, and the price, €1 each, was perhaps a bit high for their size. The counter in the center of the place is very scenic and attractive.

06/09/2025: The dishes were decidedly poor quality. Pasta with clams. The only authentic thing was the flavorless, boiled spaghetti.

01/09/2025: A magnificent and enchanting place. Not far from the evocative Calomini Hermitage, an excellent trattoria with old-world charm, excellent prices, and excellent dishes. Rich appetizers, including vegetarian options, with homemade focaccia (although a bit too compact and heavy). Many of the ingredients are homemade. Friendly and fast service. The tour concludes with a guided tour of the Hermitage, with time dedicated to meditation in the retreat cave, appreciating the silence of those caves dug way back in 1200.

31/08/2025: After a wonderful visit to the Calomini Hermitage, a wonderful experience... we finished off our meal at the Antica Trattoria dell'Eremita. Excellent food, a warm welcome, and a beautiful location surrounded by nature. We'll be back soon.
