04/04/2024: Set 2 course lunch menu with coffee for €12 and no extras (even water, still or sparkling, is included, i.e. free). It's at a truckers' fuel station and had a kind of factory canteen vibe. The food is very good and probs were big enough that I couldn't manage a dessert, (which would have cost extra, you can't just have a secondo and a dessert as your 2 courses).

14/03/2024: It's been a long time since I stopped for dinner... so-so pasta... as a main course only chicken or rosticiana, and yes... I took the roast chicken, inedible, stringy, burnt on the top and boiled on the bottom and it even smelled, raw chips and with the glass that tasted fresh I can only say that it was so bad... I ate it a few times. Now I understand why once upon a time you couldn't park after 6pm and now the lot is half empty. Thanks for ruining my evening, what should have been a relaxing stop eating a nice hot meal after a hard day's work on a truck far from home!!!

31/03/2024: I've been to this place maybe 5 or 6 times. I really wanted to like it because as orhers have posted, the meats and cheeses are wonderful. But as of yesterday, I'm done. The females are nice, the males are awful. Rude rude rude. They always have been every single time. Last night, I never got the glass of wine I asked for so I just left. I'm not going back. Other places have great meats and cheeses. It's Italy after all.

20/03/2024: Unique wine shop, with beautiful cellars. Vast assortment of wines, recommended with true professionalism. I recommend everyone to come here.

01/04/2024: The best croissants I have ever eaten. Small little heaven of a patisseria with lovely selection of croissants and sandwiches as well as good coffee Great for on the go bites but also has a small high table seating

26/03/2024: they have nice selection cakes and cookies and sweets.plus good coffee.

30/03/2024: Pay attention to the time! Over the years it has always gotten worse, especially due to the (non-existent) customer care. At 4.50pm we sit down and order 4 Aperol spritz which we are served with two small bowls with some chips and a handful of peanuts by which time 5pm had struck. Shortly afterwards we see that the other tables are also served a platter. When asked for explanations we are told that the chopping board is given starting from 5pm! There is no warning sign and the waiter was careful to inform us. We paid the same price as other customers! You made a poor impression!!

30/03/2024: 4 of us sat down for an aperitif with an Aperol spritz and we were only brought a small bowl with chips and one with peanuts. After a while at the other tables they started bringing platters along with the aperitif. I ask at the checkout if the cost (not previously stated) was different but I am told that the cost was the same except that we had ordered at 4.50pm and the cutting boards left at 5pm. I would like to say that you look like you are starving, at least warn the customer that by waiting 10 minutes he would also have a cutting board or charge less for just the spritz. Very nice place but it should be managed with more attention to the customer. Unfortunately they don't care because they have a constant recycling of people anyway.

23/03/2024: ✍️ 🆕️ CACIUCCO DAY🍽 🦑🐙🍾 On a Thursday for lunch we chose this small restaurant in Darsena to avoid the crowds of business lunches and we found tranquility, quality for the price and a special offer. Cacciucco x2 with bottle of wine included! Abundant portions and a special note for a very soft octopus!!!! The owner is a knowledgeable and really kind girl! Excellent location on the main road, varied choice of wines and captivating seafood dishes. We will definitely return on other occasions too. WE RECOMMEND! 💯 Is my review useful?... 10/10/2023: The place is no longer called Osteria Da Giomo, it is now Osteria di Valgiano. The type of fixed menu and typical Tuscan cuisine remains.

01/04/2024: Excellent coffee ! Can in on Easter Monday, so it was quite and we only had coffee which was really really good ! Highly recommend for their coffee, didn’t get chance to try anything else.

15/02/2024: Locale in centro, di antica tradizione...ci siamo entrati per caso per un prosecco prima di cena...accogliente e rilassante!

07/04/2024: Nice place to eat, friendly and nice staff, very nice waitresses. Food that could be improved, still good and at a price I hadn't found in a while. Absolutely recommended!!!

03/04/2024: Although we made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and they confirmed the reservation time last week, when we went today, the (so-called) owner of the restaurant said that they were closed at noon and canceled the reservations. Great rudeness! I will neither come again nor recommend it.

02/04/2024: Restaurant located a few steps from the seafront, the internal environment is on two floors, well furnished with toilets in good condition. The menu offers fish and meat dishes and also pizzas. I had a grilled fish which however was poor, the waiting times are fair, the staff was a little nervous, the food is good but the portions are a little small compared to the price, the wine is still good. For payment they also make separate accounts and also accept credit cards.

02/04/2024: The K2 restaurant is simply unique in how it presents itself to the people who enter it... trained and very kind staff make you feel at ease from start to finish... the service is fast but not fast mind you because you are always at the table good... the pizza is spectacular, it goes down well, it's a pleasure, as are the other choices a customer can make... the welcome prosecco is excellent and puts you at ease... the price and the final offer are right of a limoncello or a bitter...my advice is to pay us a visit as soon as possible...very good..!!!!

02/04/2024: We completely relied on our intuition. And we guessed right. 10 out of 10 for the location, the welcome of the ladies, the elegance of the place, the service, the good food. Excellent meat second courses. Semifreddo with sponge cake and crazy rum. We will be back! I forgot to photograph the dishes, but right from the entrance, you can understand the attention to detail.

12/03/2024: Typical Sicilian food, really good. Spectacular arancini, I ate them with white ragù and speck and pistachio....pure enjoyment. Delicious bread and panelle, cannoli filled on the spot. Very good prices for the quality of the food. Highly recommended. Management has changed, I will update the review at the first opportunity.

12/03/2024: The first time we went to the new management...we ate a well-leavened and light pizza. The mozzarella on the pizza was very good. Very tasty arancino and pasta omelette! Well done!👏🏻

01/04/2024: This was the BEST dining experience my family and I had in Lucca (and that’s a high bar)! It’s a family owned business and their hospitality and pride in their restaurant shone through! The service was impeccable - our servers Sam and - I didn’t get his name, but he’s married to the owner - were extremely friendly and welcoming. They made us feel like one of the family and I watched them do the same with the other patrons. And the food was outstanding! The chef owns the restaurant and she is excellent. I can’t recommend Lucca in Tavola enough - if you’re in Lucca for any reason, you need to eat at this restaurant. If we were staying longer, we definitely would be back! And if we are ever in Italy again, we’ll come back to Lucca just to visit them.

22/03/2024: As a well-established, cozy restaurant with a rustic owner who speaks three languages: German and English. Italian Perfect always speaks close to the customer with very good price performance.

16/03/2024: Questa trattoria Bonini si trova a Monteperpoli nel comune di Gallicano, non distante da Castelnuovo Garfagnana. Probabilmente la località di Monteperpoli non fa parte delle arterie di viabilità principali, ma è salito alla ribalta delle cronache perché da qui è passata una bella tappa del giro d’ Italia 2023. Struttura in pietra, ambiente semplice, ma caratteristico e accogliente con sala anche al piano superiore. Tutto molto buono: cibo ottimo con piatti tipici di qualità, ben cucinati ed ampia scelta del menù. Personale accogliente, la signora Bianca, molto gentile, ci ha fatto sentire come in famiglia. Complimenti, torneremo sicuramente. Parcheggio riservato. Nei giorni feriali viene proposto anche menu di lavoro. Giorno di chiusura: martedi. Merita arrivarci, decisamente da consigliare se siete in zona. Da vedere nei dintorni i borghi di Cascio e Ceserana, il Santuario di S. Maria della Stella e Castelvecchio Pascoli con il relativo museo.
