Great place in Lucca for delicious, well-cooked fish, and excellent value! Friendly staff. The only downside is that if there's a lot of people, you'll need to be a little patient.

We went for dinner, and were greeted wonderfully. The food was delicious and the portions generous. The fish was obviously fresh, and to finish, I had the torta della nonna, which was amazing. The tiramisu was also delicious. I highly recommend it.

What a surprising find on the western side of Lucca. At first, my husband and I thought it was just a fish market—but it’s so much more. Buy your seafood and bring it home or have them prepare it the way you like. There’s a full deli case of prepared dishes to choose from. We were lucky to just walk in off the street but a reservation is recommended. We even made new friends…bring your appetite!!

We ate here with a small child, and they provided a car seat for him. The food was very good, carefully prepared, and the service was excellent, with helpful and friendly staff. I love it and will definitely be back.

The first courses are definitely worth a try, as they're truly delicious. The same can't be said for the second courses, where both the portions and the quality are significantly reduced!
The only thing that makes me frown a little, in my opinion, is what I assume is the owner, who you can hear shouting her business from behind the counter, talking to this person or that. The excessive chatter makes it feel like you're really at a market, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful meal.
The prices are definitely too high for the service offered!
