My wife, mother-in-law, and I had the pici with cuttlefish and truffle, mixed antipasto, and caciucco (fish stew).
The cod and anchovies were phenomenal; the mussels tasted like the sea.
The cod was simply sublime.
The caciucco was exceptional.
I was truly satisfied. I will definitely return. Highly recommended.
29/10/2025: As a family of three, we finally found the Cantina after a long search and enjoyed lemon ravioli with squid, Tuscan-style cod, salt cod, and lemon chicken. Highly recommended.

12/11/2025: We stayed there a few years ago but I hadn't written a review. The welcome was excellent, the rooms were all individually decorated with period furniture, the breakfast was excellent, and the dinner in the villa's restaurant served traditional dishes. I highly recommend it.
17/10/2025: Absolutely resplendent! The food was unique and tasted brilliantly. Every bite was like a revelation. Thank you SO much for an amazing culinary experience.

17/07/2025: Fantastic bar in the centre of town; we, a group of conscientious English lads, turned up to this bar at the hour of close with hat in hand, searching for any sort of cold lager. Andrea, the brilliant and friendly barman sorted us not only with the ice cold beer we desired but with some great friendly football chat and good service. 100% recommend

07/09/2025: On a trip to Tuscany, we came across this little corner, almost by chance, that held a big surprise: the best pistachio ice cream I've ever tasted.
During that trip, I tasted the most famous and viral ice creams from Florence, Lucca, Porto Rosso, and Bologna, but I must confess that none surprised me as much as the ones from this place.
Small, unpretentious, and located in the picturesque town of Montaioni, this artisanal gelateria is, without a doubt, a hidden gem worth discovering.

26/11/2025: Very classic dishes, nothing wow-worthy or innovative, but excellent quality and attention to detail. The service was impeccable, too.
We started with tartar and stuffed mussels (slightly salty), followed by cheek (which melted in the mouth) and the fish of the day. I also recommend the desserts; we opted for the apple pie and the mascarpone pie (pictured). They also brought us an amuse bouche and, along with the desserts, an assortment of their small pastries.
The wine list is also good.

30/11/2025: A typical Florentine trattoria, with a welcoming and refined atmosphere and excellent food: fantastic fried artichokes and homemade cantucci with almonds and phenomenal dried figs, served with Vin Santo. The dark chocolate liqueur is delicious. The bowl of jelly beans brought to the table at the end of the meal was a welcome treat. It was a fantastic 65 steps from our B&B, Le Tre Sorelle di Sabrina, to get there, and we thank her for the tip.
16/11/2025: The restaurant looks very nice, the place is welcoming and family-run, the food is good, I was only disappointed by the fried chop which was actually 2 small slices, a very small portion for the price.

15/07/2025: Ho scelto questo ristorante toscano per festeggiare il mio 40^ compleanno insieme a mio marito.
D'estate si mangia in giardino, magari davanti all'aiuola popolata da simpatiche tartarughe.
Il menu "Greatest Hits" è un incredibile viaggio nella cucina toscana con idee contemporanee ma con tutto il sapore della tradizione.
Tutto il menu è superlativo con picchi di eccellenza.
Geniale la quaglia arrostita con il creme caramel ai funghi.
Indimenticabile il risotto fagiano e mandorle.
Non da meno i dolci, sia la rivisitazione della zuppa inglese, sia "I love Siena", un semifreddo ai ricciarelli.
Servizio cortese e caloroso.
Prezzo adeguato a quanto offerto.
10/07/2025: Tuvimos una cena maravillosa aquí. Todo estuvo genial, desde los entrantes hasta los platos principales y los postres. Todos los pequeños detalles que nos dieron, desde el pan hasta los pimientos rojos espumosos y los pequeños dulces del final, también fueron maravillosos. Nos sentamos afuera en el jardín y fue encantador. El servicio fue bueno, estuvieron allí cuando los necesitábamos pero no estaban invadiendo el lugar. Merece totalmente la estrella Michelin. Muy recomendable.

04/12/2025: Lunch for two. The waiter immediately informs us that there are two starters of the day not listed on the menu. I see that the fish starters on the menu cost around €12, so I agree to spaghetti with clams. My husband asks if fried calamari is available, and the answer is "sure." We order.
I get the spaghetti (very thin and, in my opinion, not suited to the sauce) and the calamari, which are three pieces of squid on a plate full of carrots, zucchini, and fried parata.
The result: €22 for the spaghetti and €20 for the fried vegetables. After our complaints about the fried vegetables, they give us a €5 discount... with a cover charge and a drink, the total is €50.
To forget.
