22/03/2025: Staff always smiling and welcoming, good quality of croissants and desserts in general. I tried the classic zeppole di San Giuseppe on the 19th and they are very, very far from the original recipe. Overall, a recommended bar anyway.

19/01/2025: I recommend this pastry shop. I usually order a millefeuille with Chantilly cream and chocolate chips for various birthdays. I've tried the same type of cake in other pastry shops but none of them beat theirs, the cream is very light and tastes like fresh cream unlike the others which have a particular not very pleasant taste, same thing for the Chantilly cream. Pros: Fabulous Cons: a little expensive (maybe) but worth it

03/06/2025: A true culinary experience! Our visit to Filippo's was a complete success. The service was of an impressively high standard – friendly, attentive, and well-trained. Dishes and questions were explained to us patiently, even in English. The relaxed atmosphere, especially on the terrace, perfectly rounded off the experience. We had a five-course menu that guided us through the menu. The combination of fish and meat dishes was balanced, high-quality, and beautifully presented. Particularly impressive: some dishes seemed simple at first glance, but the fine details and excellent quality made them truly special. Filippo's is the perfect place for anyone seeking a true culinary experience in Italy – whether as a couple, with friends, or simply to treat themselves. And all this in the charming setting of Pietrasanta – a place that wonderfully combines culture and enjoyment.

16/04/2025: Eravamo alla ricerca di un posto poco turistico e, grazie alla segnalazione del nostro host, ci rechiamo presso il Capriccio. Il ristorante è estremamente intimo, luci soffuse, pochi coperti e la calda atmosfera di un tipico “salone” toscano. L’accoglienza di Danilo è il valore aggiunto che ti fa sentire subito a casa. L’offerta del menù fa tutto il resto: un rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente (raro in questi contesti fortemente turistici) , le prelibatezze locali servite dalle due straordinarie chef (moglie e figlia di Danilo), la scelta del vino ad hoc legata alle pietanze (grazie al sapiente supporto del padrone di casa). Una nota di merito agli gnocchi “tirati a mano” serviti con una fonduta di pecorino, pepe e scaglie di tartufo. Tutto, ma davvero tutto, ci ha fatto lasciare il ristorante.. senza neppure “un capriccio”! Anzi sì, uno solo: quello di tornarci al più presto!

15/04/2025: Ottimo ristorante a conduzione famigliare .. prodotti ottimi .. locale con pochi tavoli ma molto curato e accogliente ..titolare simpatico e molto preparato .. veramente un’ottima sorpresa..

02/06/2025: Una cena da dimenticare, servizio approssimativo, camerieri caotici e per niente adatti. Ci hanno fatto attendere a lungo e benché i piatti fossero anche sufficienti non meritano tutti gli elogi che ho letto, la fonduta al coccio è il tipico camembert che trovi ovunque (pure molto salato) e il gran tagliere è abbondante ma i salumi non sono nulla di speciale per i prezzi richiesti. I tagliolini fatti in casa erano male impastati e quindi appiccicati, la carne non è assolutamente al livello del prezzo. In sintesi è troppo caro per la qualità e il servizio che NON offre. Se avessi letto prima le risposte saccenti e assurde che rifilano a tutte le recensioni che riportano lamentele, non ci saremmo mai venuti. Lo sconsiglio.

29/05/2025: Ordinato antipasto e pizza ottimamente consigliati da Sara, gentilissima e sempre attenta, pronta e velocissima nel rispondere a tutte le nostre richieste! Bello l’ambiente, ben curato e ben pulito! Elegante!!! Uscivano dalla cucina tutti piatti uno più invitante dell’altro! Ve lo consiglio! Ci tornerò presto!

30/05/2025: THIEVES, DISHONEST, STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! They stole our belongings and refused to compensate when confronted. They sold the stolen belongings for profit, to compensate on their bad margins. I hope you default and shut down your dishonest business.

11/04/2025: Nice staff and location. The pool it is also nice and has a beautiful view. They gave us a red wine botle from their side (2015 year was very good).

17/05/2025: Great for breakfast but, if you pass by during lunchtime, it's also good for a lunch break. A secluded room and good service accompany Tuscan dishes cooked with home-made skills

25/03/2025: I really like this place, for the food, the hospitality and the environment. It has a beautiful garden and is located in Azzano in an environmental context under Monte Altissimo (Michelangelo's quarries) and near the Malbacco pools.

Wine by the glass overpriced considering the quantity, service the waiter, or owner in my opinion should be in the kitchen and certainly not in the dining room.... as is my good habit when I am served I always thank.... never a response or a smile from the waiter if we want to call him that.... I do not recommend go somewhere else.

19/05/2025: Breathtaking views, very friendly staff and excellent food. My husband and I have been visiting Castiglioncello for many years and frequented many of the areas top rated restaurants. Novelli has become our absolute favorite. Best cacciucco in Livorno, excellent spaghetti con vongole with bottarga - lovely frittura, crudo and solid wine list. The views are stunning any time of day, but particularly at sunset. Very kind staff. 10/10

20/05/2025: Our group had a lovely, leisurely lunch. The food was tasty, the service was accommodating (and very understanding of our limited Italian), and the atmosphere was welcoming.

15/05/2025: Servizio ai tavoli non all' altezza,mi sono permesso di chiedere un amaro del Capo servito molto fredde mi è stato risposto che sarebbe stato così........ E se fosse stato caldo ci metteva il ghiaccio,,,,,mi sono permesso di fare notare al cameriere che l'amaro del Capo va servito freddo di suo senza aggiungere ghiaccio..........la sua presuntuosa quanto scorretta risposta è stata che in Toscana si beve così........ risultato finale amaro caldo.....due mini porzioni di dolce..... prezzo finale troppo caro Vorrei solo segnalare al titolare e al suo dipendente che i non toscani in una località turistica il più delle volte sono coloro che creano un indotto economico........ allego foto dal sito ufficiale amaro del Capo per la giusta precisazione

25/04/2025: We recently had the pleasure of dining at the I'm Burger burger shop in Livorno and we can't say enough about this fantastic experience! My wife, I and our seven year old daughter enjoyed some truly delicious burgers. The meat was excellent quality, succulent and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, which left us all satisfied and happy. The place is very welcoming and well furnished, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a family dinner. Additionally, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, helping to make our visit even more enjoyable. The price is absolutely normal considering the quality of the food and the service received. We highly recommend **I'm Burger** to anyone looking for a great burger in Livorno! We can't wait to return!
