The menu is practically perfect for my tastes, accompanied by a truly excellent wine selection. The service was impeccable, second to none: attentive, professional, and yet friendly, making us feel at ease throughout the evening. 04/08/2026: I think you should definitely go here. After enjoying the beauty at the Uffizi Gallery and exiting, it's located to your right. You can enjoy delicious food in a relaxed, homey atmosphere.

06/08/2026: We came spontaneously without a reservation and were immediately given an outside table. Very friendly staff, fantastic pasta! We had truffle pasta, gnocchi, ravioli, and the pasta with wild boar. Highly recommended, a great alternative to the touristy restaurants. The prices are reasonable for the quality.

13/07/2026: Excellent trattoria; I highly recommend the wild boar with pasta—absolutely spectacular. There are a couple of tables outside, and the interior is spacious and air-conditioned.

20/07/2026: We ate pizza here and were absolutely thrilled. The pizzas were incredibly delicious – crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and simply top-notch flavor. The service was very friendly and attentive, so we immediately felt comfortable. The restaurant itself is also very clean, nicely decorated, and has a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended! 🍕🇮🇹

05/12/2025: My partner and I were passing through Grosseto and discovered this restaurant by chance. The place is small but cozy, warm, and very quaint. The owner is very kind, empathetic, and attentive to his customers. The menu is lovely, well-stocked, with several Maremma specialties. The food is truly excellent. Highly recommended!

Excellent cuisine and food, like the owner who welcomes customers in an exceptional way. The staff live up to the family-run yet elegant place. I highly recommend it. Thanks for the lovely dinner!

12/06/2026: On my trip to Florence, I'd say this restaurant was my favorite. The pasta was incredibly good, spectacular. The dessert was also amazing; the tiramisu was a 10/10. My only complaint was the waiter who showed me to my table. He wasn't very friendly, but the food was so good that in the end, I didn't care whether he was nice or not.

I hadn't been back in years, perhaps because of the natural skepticism I have for places "too central," but I had to change my mind and really enjoyed it. We tried two simple pizzas, a Margherita and a salami, and they were truly delicious. Low-fat, crispy, and flavorful... ideal for those seeking this style and preferring to avoid the overly pronounced crusts found at other pizzerias in the city center. The space is spacious, so you can hear a bit of conversation, but the tables with high-backed wooden benches create niches, giving you a bit of privacy; it's comfortable. Special mention goes to the staff. The staff is friendly, approachable, and well-organized. The welcome is warm and friendly. Peering around the nearby tables, I saw some truly inviting fresh pasta dishes (made in-house)—a great alternative for those who prefer traditional cuisine. The tiramisu also seems to be a sure thing: a great reason to come back. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. It's a solid, no-frills choice. If you're downtown and want to play it safe and eat a good pizza without feeling like a tourist who needs ripping off, this is the place to be. I personally will be back.

01/08/2026: Simply perfect, even the coffee was noteworthy, something that's no longer a given in bars, let alone restaurants. I really don't know what to say. I can only recommend it to anyone in the area.

30/07/2026: Not for families with young children. We visited as a family with our 2.5-year-old son, and unfortunately the experience was marred by one staff member’s attitude. The gentleman who welcomed us was warm and professional, which made the contrast even sharper. Shortly after being seated, our son picked up a wine glass, and a waitress came over abruptly and said “give me that” in a tone that felt sharp and dismissive rather than concerned. She later returned to remove a plate as well, again with the same brusque manner. When my husband asked if she’d meant anything negative toward our son, she became defensive and claimed she was only worried about his safety — but the tone from the start didn’t match that explanation. I understand safety around glassware matters, especially with young children, but there are respectful ways to communicate that don’t leave a parent feeling judged or unwelcome. The disconnect between the front-of-house welcome and this particular interaction was disappointing, especially at a restaurant of this caliber. I’d encourage the management to look into how staff are trained to communicate with families with young children — a simple, kind tone would have completely changed the experience for us.
