20/10/2025: Highly recommended, the pizza and octopus are super good, a highly recommended place in the area.

20/10/2025: I hadn't had good experiences with service in Italy, but this place was a huge relief, especially in that regard: the waiters were super friendly, willing to help, and even though they didn't speak fluent Spanish, they made an effort to understand us. That's where my experience started off well. We were greeted with tostones (fried plantains) and a glass of champagne 🥂 We had better service anywhere 🥰 The food: delicious! We tried octopus on a bed of potatoes as a starter: delicious! The octopus was super soft and delicious. We also had a pizza with prosciutto 🤤 This place is more than just a restaurant, it's a balm in the middle of a trip.

08/12/2025: A truly pleasant experience, the place is very welcoming and truly charming; the only flaw is the acoustics, which aren't exactly optimal. The staff is extremely friendly. The dishes are excellent, especially the first courses (the tagliatelle verdi are definitely worth mentioning, truly exquisite and delicate), but the second courses are also truly excellent. I highly recommend it, especially for its location, an exceptional village in the Val d'Orcia that's definitely worth a visit: Monticchiello.

06/12/2025: The service is excellent, as Daniele is a truly friendly, qualified, and very helpful person. The food is of an excellent standard, with dishes prepared with attention to the smallest details, and there is a wide selection of wines.

08/10/2025: A hidden gem of a restaurant! Excellent food and a family atmosphere. We had the florentine steak which was excellent (it was priced per kg, and we could specify a size), and the side of roast potatoes were so tender. Definitely recommend!

11/12/2025: This place, beautiful. The staff were amazingly pleasant to be around. The food is to die for, I got a 600g ribeye and oh my goodness it was cooked to perfection. As an Aussie with the best beef in the world this beef was better than ours back home. Also service was unbeatable….I greatly appreciate all the staff at this restaurant. Well done

10/11/2025: What a beautiful wonderland and oasis. The kind of place you magically stumble upon when you decide to let your senses guide you… The feelings of the street versus strict plans. A great place to sit and study that is warm and cozy… Coffee, wine, or cocktail… Food as well… Cute assortment of treats, including gluten-free. Two stories. Feels like you’re in another time.

03/11/2025: We went to eat truffles, but these were of terrible quality. Each course lacked their aroma. The tagliolini tasted of butter, not white truffle. We paid €50 for a tagliolini and €33 for a tartare. We'll never go back. Don't go there for the truffles.

26/10/2025: Expectations were very high, and perhaps that's why they were disappointed. The first course, pioppini mushrooms and oxtail, didn't convince me. I proceeded with the egg yolk with truffle... too bad the truffle wasn't very fragrant and the dish arrived cold. Compliments to the service. Impeccable. I recommend cleaning up the dust buildup on the corrigati in the kitchen... it's not at all hygienic. I won't post the photo out of decency.

09/11/2025: That was absolutely delicious! We were quite hungry and had to wait until they opened, but we were delighted to discover that the wait was well worth it. The food was incredibly tasty, the sauce was divine – they really cook honestly there, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

25/10/2025: I think this is the first time I've written a bad review. Maybe it's obvious I'm a tourist, but being treated like this was truly disappointing. Instead of a regular menu, we were given a few loose, stapled sheets of paper with only a very small selection of dishes. I politely declined the offered wine, but it was poured without being asked. And later, it appeared on the bill as a matter of course. The meal itself was fine – our child even had simple pasta with tomato sauce, which was nice. However, that doesn't change the fact that local guests who arrived after us received significantly more attentive and friendly service. That was a shame and seriously spoiled the overall impression. I found the value for money particularly disappointing: For what was offered, the prices were very high – in some cases, even higher than in some Michelin-starred restaurants.

14/12/2025: Simple but excellent food. I personally had crostini, pickled vegetables, and bean soup, all excellent. The place is very well kept and the service is fast. Obviously, you have to like the "osteria" style.

15/09/2025: If you're looking for simplicity, good value, and above all, kindness, then this is the place for you. I found it by chance for a short cycling holiday and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is nestled in a charming inland village, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. The rooms are simply furnished and very clean (if mine had a balcony, it would have been better). Downstairs is the L'Ottavo restaurant, where even on busy days they always found me a table and where I always ate very well! Lastly, the helpfulness and courtesy of Giada and all the staff.

16/11/2025: There were 20 of us at work. Lots of appetizers, 10 types of pizza sliced ​​on the table, balsamic vinegar chicken bites, desserts, sparkling wine, coffee, and lots of fun. PERFECT.
