11/10/2025: A real favorite! ​We spent a week on vacation and returned to Trattoria da Sara several times, so we were completely charmed! ​The service is impeccable, with a very pleasant waitress who offers excellent advice, which is truly appreciated. ​The food is excellent and flavorful, both the pasta and the seafood dishes. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the homemade ingredients. ​Furthermore, the prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. We also noticed that it's a trattoria frequented by locals, which is always a good sign. ​We highly recommend this place for an authentic and delicious culinary experience!

Overall quite basic accommodation - equals price/value Some updates required.. shower hand brush & elevator broken Breakfast is coffee & croissant only If you are a non Italian speaker 😆 the personnel will give you a hard time but they are super friendly

01/10/2025: I often go for lunch and choose from the daily menu. Excellent cuisine and excellent value. The dishes NEVER disappoint. They're flavorful and the portions are just right, so you can eat everything. This, for me, is a plus. I recommend it, and I recommend calling to make a reservation.

08/10/2025: There were 9 of us: 4 adults, 5 teenagers/children. The food was okay (depending on what you ordered, it was also good), and the atmosphere in the restaurant was okay. The service - well... One child only wanted to order a side salad or a portion of fries (which is available on the menu). The staff then got rude and demanded that we order a set menu. This was despite the fact that we hadn't "just" ordered pizza, but entire menus with appetizers and expensive wine. The restaurant should be more accommodating... With a "Servizio & Coperto" charge of €2.50 per cover, you're already paying for the service.

26/10/2025: The food was good, but the service and atmosphere made for an unpleasant evening. The lady at the door couldn't find the reservations we'd made online and through The Fork, making us and other customers feel like "intruders." She didn't even apologize for the wait and was extremely rude. Despite the elegant ambiance, the dining room was chaotic, with children and their toys lying on the floor and various shouting noises. This is obviously primarily the fault of the families of the children in question, but I believe it's still the restaurant's responsibility to manage the customers and encourage them to compose themselves, making everyone feel comfortable and allowing the waiters to work calmly and not causing them to jump over children lying on the floor.

26/10/2025: Good evening, I took two pizzas from you for transport, the Genovese and the filling with escarole were delicious, I recommend it, and what I liked the most was the dough.

21/10/2025: We ordered 2 foods. Pizza and pasta. Pizza came first but my food was missing. Waiter told me to wait for 2 minutes. And I waited for my pasta 20 minutes. Can understand that it’s Italy but the service is slow.

13/08/2025: Always a benchmark for quality and kindness. They're the first choice when hunger strikes, and you can indulge in a "lichittu" sandwich. After years, maintaining this standard isn't easy, but with them, this proves the point. Thank you!

19/08/2025: During a quick visit to Nuoro, we stopped at this historic café on the city's main street. Offering a traditional/tourist menu, we ordered: 2 mixed salads with mozzarella, a portion of salmon and arugula, and a caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella. We also paired it with two Sardinian Marduk Pilsener beers, two bottles of water, and three coffees. The cuisine is practically unremarkable, given the cold dishes we ordered, which, however, were average in appearance, taste, and ingredients. The bill, €66 (for four), was also reasonable for the amount ordered and the efficient, friendly, and attentive service provided by a young woman. A thoroughly satisfactory and unfussy experience in a lovely historic café.

03/06/2025: An institution since 1875, perhaps the most beautiful bar in Nuoro. Excellent herbal teas, excellent everything. Seeing it closed breaks my heart. I hope that the municipality of Nuoro will apply itself to help reopen a historic cafe, since it is not an ordinary place and since the rent was certainly not cheap... mistakenly. Just like they do in all the cities of Europe.

02/10/2025: One was a grilled mixed fish platter with a Caesar salad, and the other was roasted ribs with potatoes and grilled vegetables. Incredibly delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended.

02/10/2025: Very nice place to stop, excellent ice cream and coffee, nice saleswomen. The dog, a Chihuahua, didn't bother anyone, on the contrary we were offered water. The restaurant next door also looks very nice.

17/09/2025: Magnificent, unique, and informal setting (it's a fish tourism business, and that's how it should be). Excellent food, reflecting tradition, and plentiful. The staff is helpful and friendly, without being overly greasy like some touristy places. I was pleasantly surprised (in fact, I'll be back).

03/09/2025: Dinner didn't live up to expectations: red sauce for both the appetizer and the main course, blue crab for both the appetizer and the main course. Mosquitoes were present, but no mosquito coils were available. Service was a bit cold, right up until the final blow: I was charged a whopping €15 for fregola in bianco for my one-year-old daughter. A truly disproportionate price. And when I asked for clarification, they walked away without even a glance. I'm very sorry, because the location is worth it. But I won't be returning.
