19/08/2025: During a quick visit to Nuoro, we stopped at this historic café on the city's main street. Offering a traditional/tourist menu, we ordered: 2 mixed salads with mozzarella, a portion of salmon and arugula, and a caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella. We also paired it with two Sardinian Marduk Pilsener beers, two bottles of water, and three coffees. The cuisine is practically unremarkable, given the cold dishes we ordered, which, however, were average in appearance, taste, and ingredients. The bill, €66 (for four), was also reasonable for the amount ordered and the efficient, friendly, and attentive service provided by a young woman. A thoroughly satisfactory and unfussy experience in a lovely historic café.

03/06/2025: An institution since 1875, perhaps the most beautiful bar in Nuoro. Excellent herbal teas, excellent everything. Seeing it closed breaks my heart. I hope the municipality of Nuoro will take action to help reopen a historic cafe, since it's no ordinary place and given that the rent was certainly not cheap... mistakenly. Just like they do in every city in Europe.

30/12/2025: The place is pleasant, spacious, and bright, just steps from the port, with a view of Alghero in the background. Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing: the cakes were too dry and tasteless, the service was slow, though always smiling, and if you ask for a glass of water (which is included elsewhere), they'll tell you, "You'll have to buy a bottle." Definitely not recommended! ⚠️

22/12/2025: Excellent place, clean, and beautiful location. Compliments to the 2 helpful and very kind waitresses. After a few minutes, the fabulous Stintini-style pizza was served 😋👏. Compliments!! Recommended to everyone. We'll be back!

20/10/2025: Today was our third visit during our vacation. We ordered the unique lemon and orange peel pizza with Gorgonzola, which was delicious 😋. The pistachio ice cream and soufflé for dessert were also very good; unfortunately, the tiramisu was only available on the first day. Everything was reasonably priced. Unfortunately, our vacation is now over, and it will be a while before we can return.

09/10/2025: Location quite good. Hotel/restaurants looks not too nice from Outside but rooms are nicely decorated. Overall quite basic accommodation - equals price/value Some updates required.. shower hand brush & elevator broken Breakfast is coffee & croissant only If you are a non Italian speaker 😆 the personnel will give you a hard time but they are super friendly

01/10/2025: I often go for lunch and choose from the daily menu. Excellent cuisine and excellent value. The dishes NEVER disappoint. They're flavorful and the portions are just right, so you can eat everything. This, for me, is a plus. I recommend it, and I recommend calling to make a reservation.

09/12/2025: After a winter stroll, we stopped for a break (it was the only place open). A historic spot in Eraclea, with a lovely portico and a few tables inside. A wide selection of both savory and sweet treats. Superb service: the lady was very kind, very fast, and always smiling. The bill seemed a bit higher than usual.

03/01/2026: We were only supposed to have dinner on December 30th, but instead we returned for lunch on December 31st and January 1st. The restaurant is well-run, and you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. The prices are in line with the excellent quality of the ingredients used. Everything was made practically perfect for us by Walter and the entire staff. Consulting the menu was superfluous; we were expertly guided every step of the way. It's a pleasure to deal with people who love their profession and put it to the service of their customers in this way. It's an easy win for the location; needless to say, dining with a view of the marina, good food, and service like this creates moments that stay with you forever; it's an added value for the city of Alghero.

03/08/2025: La semplicità paga sempre. Non per forza serve un super impiattamento per colpire ma il gusto e la qualità vincono sempre. Antipasto di mare, primo di tonno, spada. Tutto buonissimo!!!

02/08/2025: Serata trascorsa in famiglia di venerdì sera in un ottima atmosfera. Servizio eccellente, precisi e molto gentili. Antipasti e Primi molto abbondanti e gustosi. Antipasto sardo nella norma, molto buono invece l'antipasto di mare. Molto consigliata la fregola ai frutti di mare, gustosa ed abbondante. Ottimi anche i tagliolini al tonno. Meglio prenotare, in estate può essere affollata. Consigliatissimo.

17/09/2025: We made a quick stop here on our motorcycle tour. The panini and toast were delicious, and the service was quick. The service is friendly, and the outdoor tables invite you to linger. The location is quiet, and the alley's walls keep it pleasantly cool.

01/08/2025: Location con parcheggio disponibile. Il ristorante è bellissimo sia dentro che fuori, ha vetrate trasparenti quindi durante la cena abbiamo assistito a un bellissimo tramonto. Personale gentile, disponibile e attento. Porzioni super abbondanti e veramente tutto buonissimo! Questo posto ci è stato consigliato da un amico sardo e io veramente consiglio di non perderlo! Prezzi assolutamente nella norma abbiamo speso meno in questo posto sublime che in altri ristoranti di pesce della zona. Sicuramente torneremo perché ha svoltato il nostro soggiorno in Sardegna!

29/07/2025: Esperienza deludente, mai più. Siamo stati in questo ristorante con buone aspettative, ma purtroppo la delusione è iniziata quasi subito. Fin dall’arrivo ci è sembrato che ci avessero “inquadrati”: ci sono state servite porzioni visibilmente ridotte rispetto ad altri tavoli vicini, e il trattamento generale non è stato dei migliori. Il cameriere che ci serviva si è mostrato poco attento, spesso parlava con il tavolo dietro di noi mentre prendeva il nostro ordine o serviva i piatti, quasi come se fossimo un contorno alla sua conversazione principale. L’atmosfera è risultata fredda e poco accogliente. Alla fine del pasto, con uno scontrino da 112€, ci siamo permessi di far notare che le porzioni erano davvero scarse, ricevendo come risposta dal proprietario: “Avevate poco appetito”, con un tono poco professionale e piuttosto arrogante. Un’esperienza che non giustifica minimamente il prezzo pagato. Di certo non torneremo.

08/10/2025: There were 9 of us: 4 adults, 5 teenagers/children. The food was okay (depending on what you ordered, it was also good), and the atmosphere in the restaurant was okay. The service - well... One child only wanted to order a side salad or a portion of fries (which is available on the menu). The staff then got rude and demanded that we order a set menu. This was despite the fact that we hadn't "just" ordered pizza, but entire menus with appetizers and expensive wine. The restaurant should be more accommodating... With a "Servizio & Coperto" charge of €2.50 per cover, you're already paying for the service.
