07/01/2026: It's very charming, located at the entrance to the center, with cozy tables. We stopped for breakfast and had a great time! Excellent selection of coffees, and very interesting! The basic Ducale blend is very balanced and pleasant, but my favorite was the India blend, very creamy with hints of dried fruit and chocolate. The staff are really helpful in recommending and explaining the differences. They generally have eight blends, so there's no shortage of reasons to come back!

16/01/2026: A well-known restaurant in Ferrara that I found overrated compared to my high expectations. Personally, I find the menu rather boring and repetitive, almost always featuring only fish, and therefore it's not to my liking. The service, unless you're a known and loyal customer, isn't particularly attentive. The open space overlooking the street is interesting, especially in summer and fall. Recommended but with reservations; it's definitely a place that could improve, especially in terms of value for money. The reservation service could be improved.

06/01/2026: Disorganized bookings; they don't answer the phone. We went on the first night, recommended by the hotel, and were told at 7:00 PM that without a reservation, we couldn't get in. A table for two was provided. The next day, we tried to book from the morning, even through the hotel, but they didn't answer. That evening, we tried to stop by and were turned away a second time, saying we couldn't have dinner without a reservation. How to book this restaurant remains a mystery. I'd say I'll never try again.

02/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner with the family. A menu that was worth 30 euros. Truly excellent. Excellent service despite the crowds. The wait staff were excellent. The owner was perfect, friendly and approachable. I think we'll be back several times. The price was also reasonable, considering the evening.

18/01/2026: I found it by chance after reading the reviews and looking at the photos of the dishes. This time, let's start with the things I didn't like the most: the lighting in the restaurant was disappointing, with ineffective lights. The space is also a little cramped, but it's manageable. From here on out, only positive things. The menu isn't overwhelming, so you can't get lost. There are 5-6 choices for each course, traditional Ferrara dishes and a few different options, including meat, fish, and vegetarian options. I tried the creamed cod with chickpea cream, pumpkin tortelli, and salami for sauce. Not much to say, the dishes were good and well-prepared (perhaps I would have preferred the ragù for the tortelli to be different: the pieces of meat were large and the sauce a little runny, but that's a minor detail). Special mention for the service! The waiters were kind and attentive, smiling and pleasant, and they also gave us effective advice. Truly excellent. If I were to return to Ferrara, I would definitely return here.

15/12/2025: I've known La Dolcetteria since the first moment I discovered I was celiac, and I'm truly grateful to have such a place so close to me. Over the years, they've created some truly amazing desserts, which truly make you forget they're gluten-free and undoubtedly achieve the flavor and goodness of the best gluten-free desserts. Every time I stop by, it's a true delight, whether it's for the pastries and cakes or something more complex like birthday cakes, panettone, or various baked goods. Their homemade pasta, or that made by their collaborators, is also incredible. It's always a pleasure to return to La Dolcetteria! Thank you for making being celiac more enjoyable 🤗

07/12/2025: Hidden away in the narrow streets of Imola, getting there is a truly special experience. It's absolutely worth it. Stepping inside feels like stepping back in time; there's a beautiful underground level. As for the food, everything you choose is excellent. They also have a wide selection of wines. The staff is incredibly friendly and will always be happy to help or answer any questions you may have about the dishes, wines, and even the history of the restaurant.

13/01/2026: It was a wonderful party. The owner was very kind and accommodating, always trying to please the guests. DJ Paco was very friendly and kept me company before we entered for our 18th birthday party. He was also excellent at his job, keeping us entertained and entertained. 02/01/2026: My husband and I went to Pippo's for the first time last night. We had a wonderful meal: traditional cuisine, authentic flavors, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is truly pleasant, with a family feel—truly enjoyable. There's love and passion for what they do, and you can feel it in every detail. The only thing I'd change, but it's a personal preference, is the lighting, which is a bit too bright for a restaurant in the evening. But it's really just a small detail! Well done!

09/12/2025: The food is excellent, with very high quality and a refined, carefully prepared cuisine that's not overdone. There are 12-13 seats and reservations are required. I should add that it's quite difficult to book on weekends, even months in advance. It's much easier on weekdays.

It's a place that immediately exudes peace: a few tables (maximum 15 seats), soft music, and Mariella and Guido, passionately yet discreetly, share their love for raw materials and wine, creating an atmosphere you'll never want to leave. Taking advantage of the season, we chose the Fragno black truffle menu; the other options, which must be booked a week in advance, were seafood, traditional, and regional. Before starting our journey, a series of small "gifts" arrive: bread and oil, 35-month Parmigiano Reggiano, a salami that truly tastes like salami, and an extraordinary focaccia with an irresistible mortadella. These are followed by three dishes that are true masterpieces of raw materials and pairings: a poached egg with sweet gorgonzola, a cream of pumpkin and truffle, truly moving; tagliolini made with 40 egg yolks and butter and truffle, a perfect example of simplicity brought to excellence; Beef sirloin with Vin Jaune and truffle sauce, perfectly cooked and with an incredible texture, the sauce—with the distinctive curry flavor typical of this Jura wine—pairs perfectly with the dish. To finish, a nice selection of cheeses, from Italy to France, and carefully selected desserts, delicious and never boring. To pair, Guido suggested an excellent sparkling rosé from a small winery in Valcamonica, which paired perfectly with the entire menu. You leave feeling a mixture of happiness and nostalgia, because you already want to come back. Thank you.
