20/11/2024: Terrible experience! I was one of their customers, I bought pastry boxes several times for important dinners. So, they weren't fresh, but who knows how many days ago... thus making a terrible impression on my guests. What's more, I happened to stop by them for a coffee and a brioche. I ask to pay by card, because at that moment I didn't have cash with me. The elderly lady tells me that I should have warned her before that I wanted to pay by card. But first, when will you apologize? You tell me the total, I'll tell you if I want to pay by card or cash. How much in advance should I have notified? As soon as I set foot in the shop? Next, he calls his daughter to make me pay by card. The daughter, she tells me. Look, it's also written here, card payments must be notified in advance. But in your opinion, I come to grab a quick coffee and start reading all your instructions? Absurd, I'll never come again. Both for the poor quality and for your rude behavior. Very kind waiters and also the husband, a very good person. For the rest, I would give zero stars.

27/05/2025: The restrooms in the basement are only accessible via a very narrow spiral staircase. Restrooms are not particularly attractive and not well maintained. The service outside was unfriendly.

18/05/2025: A place that lives on an old glory of the past and that has fallen into disrepair. We received a rinsed cappuccino served after a quarter of an hour from having received half-empty and cold croissants. How disgusting, my God and the short and grumpy blond waiter was just the icing on the cake. Thank goodness that breakfast was free and offered by airbnb. Absolutely not recommended, it's just a tourist trap.

23/05/2025: This place is pre-pay only. The "limonata fresca di Ischia" I paid for was a can of lemon soda, I asked "non è fresca?" "Si, è fresca." Literally said while handing me a can. Wouldn't refund me, my friend and I asked to fill our water bottles and the waitress had to ask permission, then told us she wouldn't, but that we could buy a bottle.

29/11/2024: Entrati inizialmente per ripararci dalla pioggia, visto che era l'ora giusta abbiamo deciso di pranzare. Il locale è più che altro una pasticceria ben fornita e di buona qualità, con una limitata scelta di piatti già pronti, tipo tavola calda, ma cmq gustosi. Noi abbiamo preso una pasta alla siciliana, una parmigiana e una porzione di chiodini. Infine caffè e due dolci (aragosta ripiena di panna e un semifreddo gusto pastiera). Il locale è piacevole, personale gentile, bagni puliti e rinnovati, anche se purtroppo mancava il sapone. I prezzi non sono esposti vicino ai cibi, ma cmq sono adeguati alla qualità e all'ambiente elegante.

31/08/2024: Bel locale, personale gentile, ma la cosa più importante pasticceria sublime. Abbiamo preso un vassoio di paste per il viaggio prima di lasciare la città e le abbiamo consumate in viaggio e ad ogni morso aumentava la nostalgia per Napoli.

15/01/2025: Siamo stati a cena ieri sera e abbiamo preso un hamburger di maialino nero ma era troppo pepato tanto da coprire il sapore della carne... era l'unico ingrediente che si sentiva, e uno stinco di maiale. È stato servito prima l'hamburger e dopo circa 15 minuti lo stinco... in genere, le portate a tavola, si fanno uscire in contemporanea, il cestino di pane, lo abbiamo dovuto chiedere a cena inoltrata.

13/10/2024: I went on a Saturday morning. I ordered 2 coffees for myself and a friend and waited 7 minutes. But not because there were people, just us and one other person at the counter. Instead, the external tables and internally there were no more than 6 tables occupied. Basically poor service. And when we asked the girl who had to make the coffee, she said there are only two of us. And so we had to wait. Incompetent bar management. Poor service. And no coffee at all.

27/02/2025: I didn't eat, I can't talk about the food. As a bar it was a good experience, good coffee and great service. The only flaw is the outdoor area, which does not ensure much privacy and if you have to meet for work perhaps it is not ideal: inside the voices are amplified and echo.

17/05/2025: Éramos un grupo de 7 amigos de París pasando un fin de semana en Sorrento, y nuestro almuerzo en Ruccio fue realmente un punto culminante del viaje. Eugenio nos cuidó con una atención excepcional, amable, eficiente y siempre sonriente. El servicio fue impecable de principio a fin. Pedimos vino blanco y cervezas, seguido de tres platos “atrapa del día” preparados con pasta y patatas. El personal incluso preparó y fileteó el pescado justo en frente de nosotros, una verdadera muestra de cuidado y calidad. Como una sorpresa encantadora, nos ofrecieron deliciosa bruschetta para comenzar la comida, que marcó el tono para un almuerzo fantástico. Todo estaba fresco, sabroso y perfectamente cocinado. Un verdadero placer, tanto en términos de la comida como del servicio cálido y profesional. El lugar y la vista era un verdadero placer, además, con un buen lugar para comer. ¡Muy recomendable!
