Great coffee but questionable service. Staff doesn't appear to be the welcoming to tourists...

The doctor and my favorite bar, friendly and nice staff, excellent products, wonderful coffee as per Passalacqua tradition.

This little bar makes the best espresso on the planet, and you'll know it from the strong aroma of coffee you'll notice as soon as you walk in. The Harem espresso (100% Arabica) is my absolute favorite, best enjoyed lightly sweetened. In the summer, the Shakerato is excellent, served cold.

Great coffee. You can never go wrong. The only downside is the service. It always feels like they're doing you a favor.

It is confirmed as always the best for the quality of the coffee and service, I see some absurd reviews in my point of view they are targeted by unfair competition from other traders who smear this historic bar through reviews.

Unexpected surprise. It’s affordable, it’s good, It doesn’t look like a high end delicious espresso pumping cafe. It looks like a neighborhood corner mart. But i just wanted a coffee and they delivered. It was good. If i’m being picky, it could be slightly sweeter ending. it ends a little burnt/bitter. But maybe that’s the espresso style here? i don’t know. I love espresso though. That being said, If i’m walking by this area, i’m grabbing one.

Excellent place to have a really and high quality Italian coffee, the staff is friendly and helpful and they sell packages of Passalaqua coffee, ive recommend you try Harem or Moapa and Mexico

At the bar in Piazza Dante, where Akira stopped during the EuroVelo 90,000km journey, he actually showed the barista a photo from a previous visit to Naples, so I went there to show him the TV screen I recorded from that time. The filming took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, but everyone who appeared on the show was in good health and was watching the footage on their smartphones. It's a long-established bar beloved by the locals, and the calm expressions on everyone's faces made for a truly relaxing experience.

Today I went with my dad to visit the Pellegrini Hospital, a few hundred meters from Bar Mexico. On the way, we noticed this bar, we went in for a coffee, and I made friends with the barista Antonio, who was manning the coffee machine at the time. He asked me why I had a cast on my arm and after a chat, he served coffee to my dad and me. It was truly delicious, a Neapolitan coffee made to perfection, but more than that coffee, it was Antonio's kindness that made everything even happier. I hope to return as soon as possible, but not to go to the hospital again :). Thank you, Antonio, and thank you to Bar Mexico.
