07/12/2025: Terrible breakfast, so-so croissants, undrinkable cappuccino, paid for by the scoop...never again

04/11/2025: Paying €3.20 (just) for an excellent coffee and an exceptional dessert would already be a great start to the day. Then my empathy for this city and its people increases when, paying after I've already consumed something, the automatic cashier gives me change for a €20 note, with about 100 20-cent and 10-cent coins. At that point, the very sweet old lady at the cashier calls the pastry chef, who gives me back the full €20 and tells me not to worry, you can pay me next time. I'm amazed, thank you for your trust, but I don't live here, and what's he surprised about? We're in Naples. Finally, after persevering, I managed to pay with my debit card. What a great start, and jurnat!

18/09/2025: This pub is really beautiful, neat, and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. But they really need to improve on the food... the fried food is very greasy, the sandwiches are good overall, but the burger is small and dry, with little flavor. Ample parking outside.

16/08/2026: Avoid this place, receipt you'll get is hand written and its price is made up at spot. After demandi g for real receipt, they get angry and show their handwritten one as its god written. AVOID

28/07/2026: A very disappointing experience on May 30, 2026. Since I don't speak Italian, I communicated in English. Instead of being friendly and helpful, the staff were rude. I had the impression that they were laughing at me, and other employees seemed to be enjoying it as well. As a guest in a foreign country, one expects respect and courteous treatment—regardless of the language spoken. I felt neither welcome nor valued. I will definitely not be visiting this café again and cannot recommend it to anyone.

14/08/2026: In the display case at 9:45 in the morning there were only 2 shells and 2 defrosted croissants. I took a shell and a glass of milk. The milk was Matese, not in a plastic bottle, but one of those cardboard ones. It had a strange taste, it was definitely shelf-stable. Then a glass of hot sparkling water. Absurd.

13/07/2026: Nothing special, the food isn't even good for what you pay. I honestly don't recommend it. I ended up finding my car full of limescale because they apparently watered the plants in the parking lot where they told me to park and didn't tell me to move it when they watered. I repeat, leaving me with a car full of limescale. A terrible experience for us.

08/07/2026: We stopped at this bar today, and the first thing you notice is the warm welcome and helpfulness. The savoury pastries are excellent, as are the pastries. We'll definitely return and recommend it.

04/04/2026: A pleasant concept with significant challenges. To enter the venue, you must pay a €6 fee converted into the venue's currency, which translates to 3 SLYs that can be spent in the bar and "restaurant" areas. However, this ploy distracts the customer's attention from the receipt, which clearly isn't provided. After gaining entry, you quickly realize the second challenge: seating availability. The venue is spread across small areas, meaning there's very little seating and comfortable dining options. Having already paid the "tax" at the entrance, you're forced to stay, as the currency conversion isn't refunded if requested upon exit. The staff isn't very attentive to customers; even if you manage to get a seat, ordering is a real struggle. Even after calling back several times, no one bothers to serve you; it almost feels like the customer has to chase the staff. On top of this, if you're lucky enough to be heard, once you've finished your order, the staff will take everything from your table without asking, literally rushing by. The price factor certainly doesn't help; just consider that a Parisienne or a Coke costs 2 SLY, or €4, and the products listed in the bar area with a lower price (i.e., 1 SLY, for example, a coffee or cappuccino) aren't actually available. Furthermore, the room where the foosball and pool tables are located requires a fee; there's no "concession" even though you pay for access blind. This is constructive criticism; it's not intended to discredit the concept, but these are areas where we need to improve.

04/04/2026: Nice and welcoming, friendly staff... a really nice jam session evening, with music of all kinds. Cheerfulness and good humor.

21/07/2025: Delicious sandwiches and a varied menu, but a bit pricey. The atmosphere is nice, and there are also several activities like a small playground and bowling alley.

17/08/2026: Unfortunately the chicken was stringy and the potatoes were raw. While we were paying, a customer was complaining about the raw potatoes. It was better to listen to her.

13/08/2026: A very charming café with a very good location, the service was very friendly and I enjoyed my first sfogliatella which was delicious.

05/08/2026: One of Naples' most iconic bars, in the heart of the Neapolitan capital. Where you fish, you fish well, from coffee to pastries, including all kinds of drinks and foods available. I remember when, in the '90s, they served a lavish aperitivo buffet here at lunchtime. Unfortunately, the tradition has ended, partly because many patrons took advantage of it without any decency. Two honorable mentions: The only place in Naples, and therefore in the world, where the Amarena Biscuit lives up to its name—with black cherry jam and pieces of the same—exquisite and always fresh, every time I've tried it. Perfect iced coffee, just the right balance with sugar, and I say it, the classic one is bitter. I'll post some photos in the future.
