I scan the menu, choose a beer for €4.50, and it's calculated at €6.00, justifying the fact that they served me a beer that's not on the menu. It's clever, artificial, and beer is served poorly. Anyway, €29 for nothing. Naples is a thousand and one frustrations. When the zizzinella leaves...

18/05/2025: Only bought 4 small beers and it cost 32 Euros to sit on a slope outside. Complete rip off place. Don't go there. Lots of other, better bars in Naples who don't rip you off!!!

02/05/2025: I stopped by for a quick breakfast and I must say it was a very pleasant surprise. I ordered a cappuccino, a latte, a smoothie and two puffs: all delicious! The cappuccino was creamy at the right point, with a nice foam and a balanced taste. The intense and well-made latte macchiato, just how I like it. But the real gem were the Sfogliatelle: fragrant, warm, with a fragrant and not too sweet filling. You could feel the quality and freshness. The staff was friendly and quick, the environment was clean and welcoming. A simple bar but with great attention to the customer and quality. I will happily return!

19/07/2025: Naples is full of little corners of paradise that stay in your heart, and for me, this place is just that. A legendary bar with a terrace overlooking Piazza del Plebiscito, I spent several days there for breakfast. A quiet and pleasant atmosphere, delicious pastries, and a coffee to die for.

20/04/2025: I really wanted to try a traditional Neapolitan pastiera recipe but unfortunately I was quite disappointed, the filling was awesome, tasty and fresh, but the dough was too crunchy for my taste, while cutting the pastiera in slices it crumbled and I expected it to be slightly tender. I have to admit the prices raised but the tradition is slowly getting forgotten.

10/08/2025: Enjoyed the Passalacqua Espresso, served with the hottest cups and spoons yet. Absolutely delicious!

25/04/2025: Non posso fare una recensione sul cibo perché non ho potuto assaggiarlo. Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per cena, arrivati all'orario previsto, abbiamo trovato il locale strapieno, ci siamo rivolti ad un cameriere che in evidente imbarazzo ci ha indirizzati al gestore, il quale in modo molto sbrigativo ci ha chiesto di aspettare che ci avrebbe dato il tavolo appena se ne fosse liberato uno... ?? Ma che modi sono? Se pensi di non poter assicurare un tavolo non accetti prenotazioni. Se il cliente pensa di avere un tavolo riservato è evidente che non deve poi trovarsi fuori dal locale in piedi ad aspettare, altrimenti che senso ha prenotare? Nessun rispetto per il cliente Siamo andati a mangiare nel locale vicino, abbiamo mangiato bene e siamo stati serviti subito

03/06/2025: If you take the pizza, avoid the one with chicory, too bitter, it ruined the whole thing. For the rest, the dough was rubbery in part. I have eaten better. Kind in the service.

06/07/2025: VERY BAD ... We ordered several panuozzi, they all arrived with very stale bread and practically nothing inside ... I had a good memory but I made a terrible impression on the group that followed my advice to buy from them

31/08/2025: Of the iconic bar of years ago, only the name remains.........at 9.30 in the morning the windows have no sweets...They are arriving from Piazza degli Eroi.... For those like me who have frequented and frequent the island know the management of the former owner Calise, but what a bitterness, they were the jewels in the crown of the island and the name was an attraction that could not be resisted. Today only decay for both the place and the food sold, another myth gone............

29/08/2025: Incredibly unfriendly service. Unenthusiastic and irritated. The waiter can either clear the table or take orders. And that's not even for two tables at the same time. Then the colleague wants to clear the untouched coffee. We paid €26 for one cappuccino, one espresso, two croissants, and two sodas. Warning: everything at the table is twice as expensive. We've never experienced that before. The restrooms are a disgrace – they don't lock. The interior looks old and rancid.

16/06/2025: Great coffee, during our short vacation in Naples it was our point of reference for breakfast, honest prices, tourists are welcome 😁

11/06/2025: I stayed in Naples for a weekend and discovered it by chance while walking with my cousin along the street. We had such a good time that we stopped by two nights in a row to have a post-dinner dessert. We found good desserts at a great price. The staff was very kind and helpful towards us, so much so that I was shocked to read some negative reviews addressed to those who work there, they probably changed the workers (?) ... in any case for us it was a more than positive experience

03/09/2025: This afternoon my girlfriend and I went to the Gran Caffè San Marco bar for an aperitif and I have to say it was a terrible experience. We sat outside without being greeted at all, and after about ten minutes a hasty waiter took our order. After another 10 minutes, the bartender behind the counter, whom I could see from my seat outside, shouted out our order because they had absentmindedly forgotten two very common drinks. I was forced to shout out our order again because none of the staff bothered to come over. After another 10 minutes, our order arrived with some very poor quality bagged chips, the Aperol Soda was completely wrong, it seemed like drinking simple slightly sparkling water colored red and the Virgin Mojito tasted like toothpaste and the presentation was very unpleasant, we didn't even finish our drink, after a few sips and a cigarette we went to pay, we paid 13 euros for an aperitif in a bar overlooking the street with unqualified staff hired from the street, maybe they also have a "great coffee" but we definitely won't be stopping by to try it!

02/09/2025: We stopped by for coffee. The service was quick, the waitress very kind, and the coffee good. The atmosphere is that of a fairly standard bar.

26/08/2025: Walking around the area, I decided to grab an espresso at this coffee shop, and it was a sure thing. Great coffee and great service.
