17/05/2026: Antonella, Gino, and Filomena were incredibly welcoming, kind, and affectionate. Gino was also an excellent tour guide, while the housekeepers pampered us with typical local delicacies. When you come to this bar, you're buying a story, not just a drink or a dish. Definitely worth stopping by!

01/06/2026: When you follow a good idea with the skill to execute it well. We found courtesy, a varied à la carte menu with many inviting options, and a good wine list. Dishes were crafted with balance and attention to detail, showcasing the flavors of the different fish, and meticulous attention to presentation. The ambiance is simple but not unenjoyable; you can sense the attention to detail despite the atmosphere of a family restaurant. In short, we'll recommend it to friends and will definitely return, perhaps in a different season to appreciate the differences.

06/05/2026: The epitome of a village pub! A village pub, pizzeria, trattoria all rolled into one, combined with warmth, enthusiasm, and (in modern parlance) authenticity. The pizza is fantastic! We used to go there just for that, but everything else is delicious too. They have a wine selection; we stuck to the house wine and draft beer, plus some local specialties. It's just like you remember and hope for from back in the day. Wonderful!

03/05/2026: The atmosphere, food, and staff were exceptional!! We stopped for a Sunday lunch on our way home from the beach. Excellent grandmother's cooking, along with the kind and friendly staff!! It will be a regular stop on our beach trips. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and eat well :) just like at home!

13/11/2025: While visiting the area we made a reservation via the website and received a message saying they cannot confirm our booking. I asked if they were open at all they replied that they were but could not confirm the booking. I asked what time they were open until thinking if they couldn’t seat us maybe we could order and take it with us. Being off season there weren’t many vegetarian restaurants open so we were pretty much counting on this one. After asking several times this is the exact answer I received :” I’m sorry, you don’t understand, its not a question of being open or closed, its a question that we cannot confirm your reservation. “ I found this extremely rude and decided head to Verona instead. Since I can't respond to the response for my review i am updating instead: I will update that i received your response and i'm sorry but i just can't accept what you are now saying. You could have replied: "sorry we are closed for a private event, would you like to come another time?" Instead here as and exact copy of the conversation from whatsapp: Hello Me: Can we come for lunch today? 2 people you: I'm sorry, we cannot confirm your Booking. Me: Are you open today? You: Yes we are, but i cannot confirm your booking Me: Until what time are you open? you: Again, we cannot confirm your booking me: I understand But we want to come without a reservation Unless you are closed. What time do you close? you: I’m sorry, you don’t understand, its not a question of being open or closed, its a question that we cannot confirm your reservation. You could have just said there was a private event. I suspect you did not want to host us specifically for some reason..

03/05/2026: We ate very well; the chickpea and clam soup, in its simplicity, was excellent. The staff was very kind, attentive, and friendly. The sea view was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

29/04/2026: I always love going back. I went twice last week. Once alone and the food was divine. The second time with a guest. The fish (pezzogna) didn't satisfy me like the first time. It wasn't very fresh. The restaurant isn't cheap; paying so much for fish that isn't fresh that day isn't acceptable. What a shame! Next time I'm in Marciana, I'll go elsewhere... I'll try other options.

28/05/2026: Best spaghetti with truffle eeeever! Fish dishes are always super fresh and of good quality. The choice of wine is spacious. The owner is always present and always at your disposal for any issue. The staff is super professional and friendly. Welcome Prosecco while you chose your dishes. Best place not only in the area but I’d say in Rome.

07/05/2026: Not your average bar, at Circolone you can drink and eat well. The staff is very kind and attentive, and you'll never be alone at your table. The outdoor seating is a real treat, although it's a shame it's so close to the main road, which can be annoying when noisy vehicles pass by. In any case, it's a perfect spot to meet up with biker friends. Prices are in line with the quality of the food served. Always best to book in advance. Highly recommended if you're passing through Olgiate Comasco.
