05/07/2025: For a special family occasion, we had lunch on Monday, June 23. Location easy to access. Antonio, the owner, a kind and helpful and knowledgeable person. Excellent Grilled steak, fantastic fried gnocco... I think it's the best I've eaten, quality cold cuts and a wide selection of wines. Thanks and see you next time!

26/08/2025: This restaurant is located on Certaldo's main street. The wooden tables aren't very spacious. They don't offer main courses, just appetizers and a few traditional Tuscan first courses. We ordered a portion of mushroom pici, a portion of a cured meats appetizer (prosciutto and salami) with three types of cheese and coccoli, and a portion of tomato bruschetta. With water and a coffee, we spent €52.50. The staff was friendly and helpful.

18/08/2025: The platter was fairly cheap. 20 euros for six slices of cured meats and six pieces of cheese. There's much better options nearby, both in terms of quality and quantity. Very touristy.

14/08/2025: Very good desserts, decent deli food; last year they made mushroom and vegetable pizzas, and other deli items that you don't see at the counter anymore. Coffee is expensive at €1.30, a problem with many bars, unfortunately.

17/08/2025: A charming place, at the foot of Serralunga Castle, with a fresh, youthful atmosphere. The girls are organized, friendly, and always ready: truly a great energy! We had lunch on Ferragosto, choosing: Cantabrian anchovies with green butter, six mini Fassona beef tartares with sauces, traditional butter and sage plin pasta, and tagliatelle with Fassona ragù. To finish on a sweet note, a hazelnut cake with zabaglione and a spectacular babà with cream. All accompanied by a bottle of Langhe DOC Nascetta, an elegant and surprising white wine, perfect for the dishes. For dessert, we chose two special glasses: Moscato and Barolo Chinato, pairings that made the experience even more unforgettable. Not just lunch and dinner: here you can also enjoy an aperitif or a platter, admiring the fabulous view of the hills and vineyards. A place not to be missed!

17/08/2025: The welcome wasn't the best, too arrogant and not enough smiles. The sliced products, for the price, absolutely don't live up to expectations for cured meats in the Parma area. The selection of sliced products is very limited. We won't repeat the experience. 😮‍💨😠

20/07/2025: Terrible service. We were treated with superiority and sarcasm because we didn't understand the language well. They charged us tips that weren't included, which I thought were excessive. We arrived first with a group led by a tour guide. They took our order first and served us last. They forgot about our food and then the bill never arrived. The waitress was very rude and the food was nothing special. I wouldn't go back. They ruined my day because I wasted my free time on the trip because of their delays.

The employees were much more interested in each other and having a long conversation, insteed to take care of the customer… They put the cakes into a paper bag. he asked back four times that what I exactly want. Putting wraps and paper around several cakes, but finally when I offered the cakes to my family on the street it turned out not all was packed. it is really disappointing. Doing it 10 times a day makes this a really nice extra income…

10/07/2025: I happened to be passing by and saw some people sitting down, and since I was hungry, I asked if I could get a takeout pizza! Yes, yes, was the waiter's reply as he brought the dishes out. No, the pizzas have a pre-made crust, they have no flavor, and they're expensive...!!! In other words, you have to look elsewhere for quality. Moral of the story: a gorgonzola and salami pizza (the slices were thinner than a wafer) cost €9, and a beer €0.30, a €6 leffe! I won't eat here again, the quality is absolutely nonexistent. Go elsewhere, otherwise you'll only poison your blood!

09/08/2025: I travel to Milan every four months to visit Besta with my son. We discovered this bar by getting off at the Argonne stop and then walking to our destination. I think the bar is family-run, always clean and tidy. Everyone is very friendly; my son and I usually order two croissants and a cappuccino. Very fair prices; you can get breakfast for just a small fee and still feel the warm, familiar atmosphere of home, even if you've just arrived from almost 1,000 km away. Highly recommended.

03/08/2025: I've been going to this bar for over 20 years and I'm fond of the people who run it; it's like being part of the family! The coffee, pastries, and so on are excellent, but the food is also good at lunchtime. They have plenty of shaded tables outside, and it's nice even in the heat.
