06/03/2026: I had the pleasure of eating at Osteria del Pozzo in the center of Ancona, and the experience was truly excellent. The staff was very kind and courteous, making you feel immediately at ease. The location is very elegant and welcoming, perfect for a quiet dinner in the heart of the city. But the real highlight was the food: I had the best padellata in Ancona, truly delicious. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to eat well and have a wonderful evening. Congratulations!

31/03/2026: Off the beaten tourist track, a typical tavern with a family atmosphere, friendly, genuine, professional staff, paper tablecloths, plastic cups, two of us ordered a very good pizza, pasta with potatoes and provola, excellent potato croquettes, arancini, everything excellent, house wine, a beer, we spent 44 euros in total. Worth a try, not recommended for "aristocrats".

17/03/2026: Drawn by the numerous positive reviews and the idea of ​​trying home-style Neapolitan cuisine, we choose to dine at this trattoria. The atmosphere and service are very simple, but that's fine... it's exactly what we were looking for. What's not so good is the lack of transparency and the final bill. The owner initially hastily offers us a portion of mixed antipasto to share between three (the rooster appetizer, we deduced from the menu), and we order three different first courses (a "false" Genovese, a pasta with potatoes and provola, and a macaroni and meatballs). Since the meatballs were sold out, we were offered a "braciola" instead. For us, substituting them in the pasta dish meant putting the "braciola" in place of the meatballs and not bringing a separate "braciola" (actually, it's a roulade with sauce and three slices of bread). We add a cover charge, a Sprite, a sparkling water, and a half liter of house wine on tap. We expect the bill to be around 50-55 euros, but instead... 70 euros! We ask for clarification on all the items on the receipt, the owner and the cashier exchange a few words in dialect we don't understand, and finally we're told that the three mountain pizzas are on the side, that the pizzicotti are on the side, and that the "braciola" didn't replace the meatballs included in the first course but was a separate dish. Perhaps this should have been explained when ordering, right? I could also decide to spend 24 euros for, as the owner suggested, "a mixed antipasti to share between three," but I'd appreciate knowing before we get to the cashier!

28/03/2026: Nonna Sceppa is a place worth preserving. The ingredients and preparation are of the highest quality, with simple yet perfect plating. It's rare to find a restaurant that achieves excellence with both fish and meat, vegetables, and desserts. The quality/price ratio (for the quality) is also excellent. If I really had to offer a suggestion (not a criticism), I'd say that the owner and his sons are a bit cold and aloof, especially when ordering, where a touch of friendliness would be preferable.

10/03/2026: We had two fish-based starters, both excellent quality and generous portions. For our main course, a delicious fried calamari. The place may be a little dated, but the management and the quality of the food make it worth a visit, even if the prices are a bit high.

18/04/2026: Thanks to the lady who welcomed us at the last minute when I called hungry from my amazing bike ride. The friendliness and kindness were top notch. The food was DELICIOUS, appetizers and risotto (I don't remember what it was). Thank you so much. I'll definitely be back again (without the bike), but with my family.

Even then, despite the buffet format, my wife and I were deeply impressed by the excellent selection of ingredients. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that the owners, Fausto and Cristina, have been longtime acquaintances of ours. ​Eager to explore their culinary offerings further, I recently returned for several convivial dinners, and the experience has consistently exceeded expectations. In addition to the undisputed and superb quality of the ingredients, Fausto proves himself to be an absolute guarantee in the kitchen, distinguishing himself not only for his impeccable cooking technique but also for his remarkable mastery and aesthetics in plating. During our last visit, the chef delighted us with a top-notch seafood experience: an exceptional selection of raw seafood as an appetizer, followed by a first course of exquisitely crafted linguine with crab. To finish, an excellent Gargano red corba, a delicious discovery that truly surprised the palate. In short, an unmissable food and wine destination. A must-see for anyone who loves haute cuisine.
