During a guided tour of Leopardi's house, I stopped for a snack with my wife and children, and even though it was already past lunchtime, we were greeted with a smile by a very kind young woman who went out of her way to offer us something to eat. The rest followed suit... a charming location, excellent food, and above all, a carefully curated selection of soft drinks, natural wines, and craft beers. A stop at this place is a must in Recanti! 30/08/2025: A superb late-August dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea. The service staff was knowledgeable and friendly, as was the chef, whose simplicity and humility were evident. Special mention for the bread and the risotto, which was perfectly creamed, even though there was no butter due to an intolerance. A top-notch experience.

12/07/2025: Fui con mi familia en nuestra última noche en Milán. Excelente servicio, mariscos y carnes muy bien cocinadas. Tuvimos una mezcla de primeros y anti parti y segundos platos, todos fueron geniales. No es demasiado caro para el marisco. Lo recomiendo mucho.

13/06/2025: We came here almost by chance, in mid-September 2024, around 2 pm, and they were still open. Very elegant place, the welcome was wonderful from the moment we set foot inside, the managers were really kind and polite. Truly spectacular 4 cheese pizza, both in taste and in dough, and we were also offered a dessert at the end. We really had a great time and we recommend it, if we find ourselves in these parts again, we will definitely stop here again!

27/08/2025: Ah, O Grin! A place that makes you want to travel to the heart of Norway, without even leaving the city! I'm an old Norwegian, here in the South, but the flavor of this place is that of a treasure. The selection of dishes is marvelous, a riot of vegetables and legumes, prepared with such passion that makes you want to shout "Skål!" (cheers!). The ingredients are incredibly fresh, as if I picked them directly from my own farm. The atmosphere? A hug! A welcoming place, with an air of magic, where you can feel the energy of the earth. Perfect for a lunch with friends or a special dinner. A tip? Try their lentil soup; it's a dish that will make you feel like you've come home. And don't forget to try the desserts; they're truly delicious! If you want a place to eat well, with heart and flavor, O Grin is the right place. Thank you for opening your door to me, because I've found a little bit of Norway in my heart!

07/09/2025: After exiting the highway, we looked for a restaurant and arrived at Bernasconi. We had our dog with us and couldn't go in, but there were tables outside. A young waiter quickly set the table for us and began serving us just as quickly—well done. We ordered two first courses and a second course, which completely met our expectations with authentic dishes prepared with excellent home cooking in terms of quality, flavor, and digestibility. Recommended.

06/09/2025: The ravioli were remarkable, as were the wild boar with herbs and the ricotta, chocolate, and rum cake. Welcoming and friendly, we felt right at home. Excellent value. A special thanks to Yuma's "mama" :-)

06/07/2025: Trovandomi nelle vicinanze per fare un weekend fuori porta, decido di venire a fare colazione in questa pasticceria. Prendo un cornetto nero con crema chantilly, una specie di cornetto/paninetto dolce con crema, un cornetto bicolore con crema al pistacchio ed un paio di mignon. Difficilmente si trovano posti che fanno la crema al pistacchio artigianalmente e che non sia una di quelle comprate nei barattoli, e questo è uno di quelli che la fanno loro ed è ottima, così come la crema chantilly, forse tra i 3 dolci la crema è stata quella meno apprezzata ma comunque era buona, così molto buoni i mignon. Una pasticceria che consiglio vivamente e spero di tornarci al più presto

25/06/2025: It is customary for each teacher, in turn, to bring something to nibble on to lighten the burden of the State Exams. This morning it was my turn, and I already had an idea: the La Crème pastry shop, which some friends had spoken highly of. I arrive, order 6 brioches and ask for them to be cut in half to make it easier to share. The girl at the counter hesitates at first, then agrees to my request spontaneously. When it is time to cut the last brioche, one of the pastry chefs appears (I assume he was also the owner of the shop), and approaches the waitress to admonish her, in front of all the customers. I immediately take the girl's side, so kind in accepting my request. Package ready, I remember my order at the cash register: 6 brioches and 3 small pastries. I am corrected by the owner: 12 small brioches and 3 small pastries. When I asked for an explanation for that wording (and the related bill), the owner replied, in a firm and polemical tone, that: 1 - the brioches can only be cut in the laboratory, and not at the counter 2 - The cutting of the brioche is extra time and work that the customer has to pay for. Fearing that I had not understood, I asked if they were really making me pay for the cutting of the brioches. Given the firmness with which the owner confirmed, I avoided specifying that I had not bought the small brioches due to lack of variety, and certainly not to save a few euros. I paid and went back to school, where I recounted the episode amidst the astonished and compassionate looks of all my colleagues and staff. I would like to focus on two elements: the lack of tact towards his employee, and the lack of transparency regarding the price of the "services" offered to the customer (including the luxurious incision of the brioche): no one told me that I would have to pay for the cutting. I would add that it had never happened to me anywhere else. I thank the owner of La Crème for giving me my "first time", and for the multisensory experience of leaving a pastry shop with a bitter taste in my mouth. And I thank the me of this morning for not asking to have the 3 pastries cut too.

06/09/2025: Well, the location and view of lake was great. But the service is not. The female server was nice, whereas the male was kind of impatient in answering questions. We had some beer and gelato. Of course the gelato was not expensive, but it was the worst gelato I had in Italy!

05/09/2025: A very atmospheric place with a beautiful view. I recommend a glass of wine on the terrace.

27/08/2025: A magical experience! The Prancing Pony Inn is a one-of-a-kind place! Decorated entirely in a Lord of the Rings theme, with meticulous attention to detail, it truly feels like you're in the Shire or a tavern in Rivendell. The atmosphere is fantastic and welcoming! The food is exceptional: spectacular arrosticini, fabulous supplì (perhaps the best I've ever eaten), crispy potatoes, and a creamy tiramisu that's perfect for a sweet end. The staff is friendly, helpful, and super helpful. A perfect mix of good food and an original setting. Highly recommended, both for fantasy fans and those simply looking for a different kind of dinner!

20/08/2025: A surprise on one of Terni's main streets. It's a small place, but its menu offers amazing sandwiches featuring local dishes and products. Don't miss the mixed sausage and liver sandwich. They also have a wide selection of vegetarian sandwiches and schiacciata. The sales staff are very professional and will provide you with all the information you need. Pet-friendly. Don't miss it if you're passing through Terni.

13/08/2025: An explosion of Umbrian flavors! A huge selection of homemade sandwiches and focaccias, filled with quality local ingredients. Each sandwich is designed to be tasty and delicious. The owner is incredibly friendly and kind: when he had time, he prepared an alternative salad for my sandwich, as the recipe included an ingredient I'm allergic to. Very fair prices! We didn't take photos because we were so hungry, we ate them wholeheartedly! Well done! 😍

12/07/2025: Very tasty food – homemade sauces, natural flavors. Experienced servers, very friendly and responsive. The price is reasonable for this location.

07/08/2025: Excellent place where it's not unusual to run into football players or former players, and people from various entertainment industries. The pizza by the meter is truly excellent, and the menu is varied, with affordable prices considering the setting and the quality, especially considering the strategic location.
