I won't go on: the food is fantastic, the people are wonderful, the atmosphere is super welcoming. It's my favorite place. If you're looking for a place that will give you nothing but satisfaction, you've found it!

12/10/2025: We had lunch here during a trip along the Italian coast. The food was excellent, with cuisine made with quality ingredients. The service and friendliness were excellent. Given the quality of the food offered, it would deserve a location like the Marina di Vasto area. Highly recommended.

03/10/2025: The burgers were amazing, proper American style, full of sauces, greasy in the best way, and super tasty. I also tried a hot dog with pulled pork and it was just so good. Excellent food choice. The place has honest prices (no coperto), and the vibe inside is really warm. Waitress was kind. Super recommended!

08/09/2025: I've been here several times for both lunch and dinner. I'd give it full marks for a business lunch, but I wouldn't give the same rating for a weekend dinner, where takeout makes the atmosphere chaotic and noisy, and the wait times are consequently longer. However, the staff is experienced and committed to providing the best possible service. The quality of the pizza is good, but perhaps the pizza menu is too extensive for me, as I love marinara, calzone, and margherita.

17/10/2025: Good pastas and better pizzas. Loved the seafood and the cocktails. Amazingly priced and worth the walk down the steep road.

13/10/2025: Nice location, decent welcome, but hesitant service, very long for pasta ragu and a calzone served at a nearby table. What can I say about these two dishes: a flat, undercooked calzone, and the pasta ragu, which was more like Bolognese with a processed tomato sauce (see photos)... not good at all. Avoid

12/10/2025: Nice family run restaurant with friendly service and good seafood dishes. We were a group of 4 and it took a while for our food to arrive despite there being only one other table in at the time. Recommend the Fishermen's risotto and the Grilled Fish main course.

08/07/2025: Highly recommended!! During a guided tour of Leopardi's house, I stopped for a snack with my wife and children, and even though it was already past lunchtime, we were greeted with a smile by a very kind young woman who went out of her way to offer us something to eat. The rest followed suit... a charming location, excellent food, and above all, a carefully curated selection of soft drinks, natural wines, and craft beers. A stop at this place is a must in Recanti! 16/09/2025: High quality of food and service. Small family restaurant with high potential and quality of wine and Prosecco. Also the lemon sorbet with vodka was gorgeous. If you are in the neighborhood you must go for the dinner there. Recommend.

15/10/2025: I'm sorry to have to write a negative review, but lately I've only been reading untruthful and biased reviews. I think it's right to share your experience honestly. I've been wanting to try this bar for a while. I was inspired by the vintage and traditional atmosphere, but unfortunately, it's not the Caffè Platti in Turin. There's very little that's old-fashioned about Bologna; the tradition of old cafés has been lost. However, everything here is vintage, including the cleaning, which was probably last done in the 1970s. The bathroom door was open, tables were dirty, and detergent was clearly visible but not used. What surprised me was that there was a large staff, but no one was cleaning either the tables or the bathroom. I bought two vintage pastries, which were also a couple of days old, unfortunately. A real shame, but cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, is a business card for a place; if that's missing, everything else is missing.

26/09/2025: We had a lovely meal here and the hostess was very helpful despite not speaking much English and us not speaking Italian. The food was excellent, especially the milanese and risotto. Even when a couple of rather rude and disruptive customers came into the restaurant, the staff remained polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend coming here!

26/09/2025: I went to dinner at this restaurant with my family last night, and we absolutely loved it!!! Fresh, homemade, top-quality ingredients. The seafood scialatielli were simply spectacular! We also had a tagliata with fresh porcini mushrooms—very tender meat and delicious mushrooms. The staff, especially the owner, are wonderful, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They manage to convey their attention, dedication, and passion for catering and cooking to their customers. Thank you for everything, we'll definitely be back!
