19/08/2025: A typical and very hospitable "old school" Veltliner restaurant with friendly and diligent service. Fair prices, a good selection. No fish menu. Green salad served in bowls, with seconds until everyone has had their fill. A cheese platter for the starter with honey, confit onions, and preserved pears. Polenta and pizzoccheri were outstanding and excellent 😋. The meat dishes also received high praise. Orders can be placed in Italian or English. They were enthusiastically praised by 12 people. Also very popular with the locals.

21/07/2025: A must-try! The best baked goods, excellent coffee and amazing people! Dropped on while walking on a hot day for some snacks and coffee. The baked goods were amazing! They were so fresh and delicious that I only managed to take one photo because we ate everything too quickly! We ended up stopping in again later for coffee and I wish I could have visited every day.

24/08/2025: I hadn't been there for years, and I've found it even better! The renovation has made the place bigger, airier, and brighter, with a wine bar across the street. The food and wine are always fantastic, as are the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

22/08/2025: Very nice and welcoming place. The dishes were generally good, except for the spiced cheek, which tasted strongly of ginger, and this overpowered the flavor of the meat. Wide selection of wines!

31/08/2025: A delightful place. The sandwiches are amazing, sophisticated, and original. A wide selection of excellent beers. A lovely atmosphere with very attentive and friendly staff. Definitely worth returning. TOP!

17/08/2025: It's been a long time since I've been, and the streetside tables aren't exactly their strong point. I found the bill a bit high, spending €30 per person for a club sandwich—not exactly memorable, but fresh—frozen fries, and two beers. I don't think it's worth returning.

10/08/2025: We were extremely impressed with John's food and services. We had the best breakfast in Catania. He's no BS and he delivers the best quality food and coffee. We absolutely loved it. He personally makes everything on the menu from scratch. From the dough of the cornetto to the pistachio cream, to the roasting of his own coffee beans. Wish we knew this earlier and we'd have gone every morning!!

22/08/2025: We arrived without a reservation and they very kindly found us a table. We ordered a few courses and everything was delicious. I'd like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff once again.

22/08/2025: We each ordered a starter (pasta), a shared main course, and dessert after seeing the restaurant recommendation in the Michelin Guide. The main course was served to us individually in small portions, which was super nice and thoughtful! The tortellini were the best we ate on this vacation 🥰 Everything we ate was very good. The service was friendly and unobtrusive.

13/08/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center of Milan. The atmosphere is elegant and refined. Excellent food, the pizzaiolo's risotto is fantastic. The house red wine by the glass is also good. Friendly, efficient, and helpful staff. The price is average for the city center. Parking is tricky. A great experience.

12/07/2025: The pizzeria is great, great location and great quality. There are like a trillion types of pizzas in the menu so you will find exactly what you're looking for. The prices are great and the staff too. Was was really dissapointing was the coperto that is unreasonable price (30% of the bill), no one told us about it,and it's not a city center that you expect it.

28/08/2025: Let’s start with the service of the young gentleman who served me and my fiance . I felt so special and so did he. I don’t have enough words to thank you. The octopus was the most yummy meal I tried ( see the picture ), and the remaining of the course was absolutely delicious and out of this world. Thank you so much for the hospitality and for the amazing experience. Compliments to the chef as well. We will definitely return.

25/08/2025: The place is very pleasant and the staff is friendly. I tried two of the sandwiches available at the aperitif table and found them to be decent. Very friendly staff. What I didn't understand was that we mistakenly booked an aperitif, and when we asked to have dinner, they told us it wasn't possible because everything was booked... when we left, after 11 pm, there were still plenty of empty tables.
