A relaxed atmosphere and attentive, smiling service, even accommodating requests for variations, like my amazing spaghetti with mussels in white sauce, with just 3 or 4 cherry tomatoes... exceptional! 😍 Thanks to all the staff, I'll take home so much pleasure!

06/01/2026: We went with a group of 26 friends to lunch at this delightful little restaurant in the heart of Otranto on January 3, 2026. We were welcomed by Mrs. Doriana with warmth and kindness. The food and price were excellent. I highly recommend it.

19/03/2026: Definitely a place to return to! We stopped for breakfast and were really pleased. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming, and the staff is super polite and helpful. The coffee is really excellent, and the food is also top-notch.

01/03/2026: It's a pastry shop... with limited seating and no privacy. The place is small and crowded, and you don't even have time for a coffee. It's too chaotic. The desserts are just small, nothing special for my tastes.

The service was top-notch, and everything went perfectly! The only small drawback was that the place was packed, making it a bit noisy... Well done, guys. Highly recommended!!!!

01/03/2026: Excellent pastry shop, tried it, but also a great location for aperitifs. From cakes to babas to pancakes, everything is delicious. The staff is always helpful and friendly, both with orders and service. The only small flaw...the coffee...not very tasty, not very creamy.

04/03/2026: For seafood lovers, a go-to place for years. A classic setting with truly comfortable tables and space between them for an excellent experience. The menu offers exclusively seafood. A decent selection of raw fish, appetizers, first courses (from €27 to €30), and second courses...desserts are €10 (cover charge €5!) The quality of the food is unquestionable, and the service is adequate for the location. The bread basket is good, and the wine list is well-stocked.

The cuisine is delicious, featuring traditional Italian dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The decor is elegant and distinctive, with a touch of old-world charm that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The wine list is excellent, with an interesting selection of local wines. The true heart of the restaurant is Mr. Carlo, a unique presence at San Paolo. A great chatterbox, he's always ready to share his incredible story, which saw him transition from pastry making to cooking, creating a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. His warm welcome and attention to detail make him a true ambassador for the restaurant. With great charm and passion, he manages to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making every customer feel at home, recommending the daily specials and selecting the finest wines. His energy and zest for life are contagious, and made our dinner at San Paolo an unforgettable experience. We ordered: Pappardelle with duck ragù; Paccheri with scorpionfish ragù; Sea bass and red mullet millefeuille; Fresh tuna steak with rosemary on sweet and sour onions; Cheesecake; Apple charlotte, wine, and coffee. We spent €96, which was definitely worth it for the quality of the food and service. We will definitely be back.

24/02/2026: I found this restaurant by chance near the train station while traveling through Savona. A friend and I had lunch there, featuring a spectacular, elegant and delicious pasta dish with clams. The wine was excellent, and the dessert was delicious. The owner and staff were friendly and courteous, even though we arrived just before the kitchen closed.
