04/09/2025: We had a very good meal. The menu is short and includes local dishes. Everything was delicious, and the service was very friendly.
03/09/2025: The main part of the restaurant is in a small cave, but they have seating out in front of the church, which provides a nice view of the piazza. It seems that the menu changes frequently, as there is only a digital menu and there are few options. We had gone there intending to have dinner, but only ended up having drinks and an appetizer.

18/06/2025: Excellent conclusion for a quick visit to the Langhe. The staff is friendly and the service is attentive, with a precise explanation of the dishes. The location is splendid: we had lunch in the outdoor garden, very well-kept and pleasant. The menu offers both the possibility of choosing à la carte, and two menus - one dedicated to local specialties and one based on fish. The dishes are well executed, abundant and very tasty. The selection of desserts is also interesting, all of which are made by them. Convenient parking nearby.

27/08/2025: I've rarely been so disappointed by a renowned fish restaurant. Even as a teenager, our father took us to Vitello d'Oro for special occasions, and whenever I was in Udine and had time, I visited this restaurant, remembering the wonderful meals with my parents and the excellent cuisine. Today, the restaurant is an example of what happens when you betray tradition and fail to embrace modernization—such as fusion cuisine. It becomes nothing more than an expensive fish restaurant, living off its former name and failing to live up to the standards of the past or present. And there's not even a hint of fine cuisine... My companion and I ate the following dishes: - "Datemi una sarda!" - "Ravioli, capra, bottarga e limone" and the house specialty as a Piatto iconico – the signature dish - "Risotto di Scampi & Scampi" Even before the first course, we were served olive oil butter with herbs on a river stone, which unfortunately only tasted of stone, not olive oil with herbs. The sardine pieces, in a cold cucumber soup (?), were still somewhat edible, albeit lacking the authentic flavor, but the smoky smell allowed us to eat them without tasting the sardines. The nine tiny ravioli, however, which we had been particularly looking forward to because of their goat cheese filling, were a real disappointment. Instead of the flavor of cheese wrapped in the delicate pasta of a ravioli, all we tasted was a watery, fishy mass, whose pungent fishy smell made us nauseous. We love eating fish and highly value fish eggs, but what we smelled was worse than a dirty Adriatic harbor after a hot summer day. Incredibly bad! We sent the dish back. Hoping that the house specialty would still taste good, we weren't too disappointed (the bread in the basket tasted good, and that made the wait more bearable), but then came pure disappointment: the worst risotto we've ever eaten. Not only was the rice undercooked—and I'm not talking about "al dente!" here, because cooking "al dente" is a prerequisite for a good risotto (you can see from the photo that the rice isn't al dente, but still raw!). The risotto from the once-good restaurant "Vitello d'Oro" was raw, watery, and not creamy, with two or three tiny pieces of scampi and three raw pieces of scampi placed on top, garnished with a thick line of pepper. The amount of risotto would have filled maybe 2-3 tablespoons, and the scampi were cut improperly and not removed properly. The pepper line consisted of pepper and herbs – ruining what little flavor the risotto had! We couldn't eat the risotto either, so we asked for the bill and left the restaurant without dessert. €165.00 without having really eaten and without knowing what we were actually being served! I must add that the service was very attentive, but almost irritating and annoying. There's nothing here that reminds you of Italian lightness, joie de vivre, and epicurean desires. It's an overpriced restaurant; after that, even a street pizzeria would be a pleasant and welcome change. For me, Vitello d'Oro is history – literally.

27/08/2025: The arancini are good, especially the ones with ragù. I've tried other flavors, but they don't really appeal to me. Maybe it's because I'm stuck with memories of 15 years ago when I only ate those. The seating arrangements could be managed a little better... Lots of people take up seats without eating while waiting their turn. The quality/price ratio is spot on. 👍
26/08/2025: SHAMEFUL. After 10 minutes in line at 9:00 PM, they told us they'd run out of arancini. The place is famous for them, and in my opinion, it's unacceptable to run out of them. Terrible experience.

06/09/2025: You walk into this place and you already know everything... you're greeted by a family atmosphere bursting with photos on the walls. You won't receive a menu; you'll be served what the day brought from the sea... the food is deliciously simple and boasts authenticity. We sampled the three-course menu. Price per person: €35, including a bottle of solid white wine and Limoncello for dessert. Two hours passed, and we left dazzled and happy. Cagliari will remain a culinary memory thanks to this place.

02/08/2025: An authentic and charming place, in the heart of Prosecco country. Latteria Perenzine offers tours of their dairy production (you have to book in advance, which we didn't, too bad!), but even without that, the experience was wonderful. We had lunch there—a simple but delicious meal, prepared with very tasty local products. You can really taste the freshness and quality. After lunch, we did some shopping at the shop, and we absolutely loved it: an excellent selection of local wines, Prosecco of course, but also other artisanal products. A special mention goes to the truffle cheese, incredibly creamy and delicious—I took it back to France, and everyone loved it! The service was perfect, warm, attentive, with people taking the time to explain, advise, and share their passion. It makes the experience even more enjoyable. The location is easy to access, with ample free parking, and the prices are very reasonable, even low, for the quality offered. I recommend it without hesitation: for a local meal, gourmet shopping, or a farm tour (plan ahead!), it's a great place to go.
