07/01/2026: Whenever we're on holiday in Partschins, we always eat here at least once. The restaurant and the terrace are lovely. The food is fantastic, and the pizza is probably the best I've ever had, and I'm a pizza fanatic (pizza is always a good idea) 😋. The staff and service are great too, even if they're not always walking around with a huge grin on their face 😉. I hope the threat of them closing is just a bad joke 🤔. Oh, and reservations are a must. 👍

02/01/2026: A fabulous, small, and very charming restaurant, run with a lot of heart. Everyone is very welcoming, and it feels like coming home. The pizzas taste amazing, are a great size, and are also very reasonably priced.

03/01/2026: I had lunch with my family at the Cavalcavia restaurant. I found the lasagna and the cutlet excellent. The service was attentive and professional. The owner was very friendly and hospitable!

17/09/2025: Four nights with my family, spent admiring the view from the excellent breakfast, continuing upon our return in the late afternoon to relax in the spotless and welcoming room overlooking the meticulously maintained garden. We finished with dinners at the hotel restaurant, sampling traditional and non-traditional dishes that left us speechless and with a smile on our faces. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed four days with the very friendly, helpful, and professional staff and management, and the cuisine was top-notch. Definitely a place to stay in the upper Aosta Valley, highly recommended and definitely worth returning to.

01/01/2026: Nice and refined atmosphere. The staff couldn't be more friendly, which isn't a bad thing (Francesco was super nice). I've been wanting to try Torcicoda's cuisine for a while, since I've lived in Florence for years, and I was pleasantly surprised. Spaghetti cacio e pepe with raw shrimp and lime, which my Roman niece ordered, were DELICIOUS. The pumpkin risotto was very flavorful, and finished with a tiramisu that will definitely have us returning soon. I'm renewing my praise for this restaurant because it's good to do so when needed. I've been there many times and find it refined in every sense, with refined, light, and flavorful cuisine. It can give off a super chic vibe. It is, but you feel right at home, with attentive service that is ALWAYS kind, polite, and super friendly. As for the food, everything was excellent, even the sautéed vegetables (which I imagined would be a fairly simple dish), but they amazed me. Super tasty, and I want the recipe! Thank you for the wonderful New Year's Eve evening where you pampered all your customers so well.

25/11/2025: A real gem of a place, that our Airbnb host Vicenzo recommended. The service is outstanding, the food is delicious, the wine selection is very good, and the ambience is fantastic with a beautiful view. Can’t wait to come back!

28/12/2025: Amazing spot to sit and enjoy the scenery of Borghetto. The Tortellini were delicious however ; one probably has to bring one’s own Parmegiano. If you want cheese on your pasta you have to the ask the waiter who will come and drizzle some and turn away instantly and not allow seconds at will.

28/12/2025: We stopped at 2:30 PM and were terrified the kitchen would be closed, but even people who sat down after us continued eating. Not much to say about the atmosphere... you're on the river and it feels like you're in a movie. I honestly thought it was one of those tourist spots where the service is terrible and the food mediocre, but it was quite the opposite. The service was efficient and precise. The lake fish was delicious, sweet and sour, and really well done. My tortellini were okay, not the best I've ever eaten, but they were still well-made. Also, I thought the price was really expensive considering the location, but it was absolutely in line with today's prices. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the village!

27/10/2025: We have been to this restaurant twice. Friendly welcome, pleasant staff. The pizzas are excellent and the pasta too. Generously served. Very good value for money. Ideal with children because it opens at 6 p.m. in the evening.

25/10/2025: We spontaneously went here for dinner twice with seven people – we really enjoyed it both times. The service was very friendly each time; quick and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious and the value for money was really good. The only thing that could be improved is the ambiance, which made it a bit more cozy. Thank you for two wonderful evenings with you!

07/09/2025: We came here on vacation for a few days, and we had a great time! The staff was very kind and helpful! A special mention goes to Lorenza, who pampered us during our stay and fulfilled our every request. The place is truly relaxing and quiet, surrounded by greenery, just steps from the sea and towns like Ortona and Vasto. The breakfast is delicious, with both sweet and savory options. The company of the dog and kittens made this experience even more enjoyable. :)

22/01/2026: My husband and I visited Il Gabbiano restaurant on December 13, 2025, and unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of awful. The food was disappointing in every way, far from anything we expected for a restaurant of this caliber. Nothing we ate was worth the price. The service, however, was one of the most disappointing aspects: the waiters seemed randomly placed, superficial and inattentive, incapable of truly listening to customers' requests. The receptionist, in particular, was completely dismissive: she was asked the same request three times, without ever receiving a response or even the slightest consideration. After an hour and a half, we politely asked to move to a table across from ours, which had been empty the entire time and had only a slightly better view than ours. I should point out that we never asked for a front-row table near the window, but simply to avoid a column in front of us that obscured half the view. This request was also ignored, without any kindness or explanation. I understand that everyone wants the best tables, but here, customer service, attention, and respect were completely lacking. In light of all this, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was an experience I would not repeat and which left only a bitter taste.

02/01/2026: We attended the New Year's Eve party, and for the second year, we were delighted by the professionalism of the chef, who gave us a fantastic culinary experience, the welcoming staff, and the owners, who are fantastic people. The venue is beautiful. Thank you for everything.

22/11/2025: I went for a show. It's a family-friendly theater, so the performers interact with the audience, which is very welcome. The bar and outdoor space are lovely. I'll be back again for other occasions.
