04/06/2026: Etna Palace is the perfect choice if you're looking for a dream location to create wonderful memories of a special day. And it was our choice for the most important day of our lives. We contacted Chef Carmelo and the incredibly sweet Maria Rosa, who immediately welcomed us with kindness and affection, making us feel at home. Together, we chose the menu, the decorations, and every little detail. Everything was perfect even before we saw it; it's something that shines through and is immediately understood. But the real surprise came later, when the party began. Everything was better than we could have imagined or desired. The room seemed to be made of cotton candy, such is the delicacy and care taken in the decorations. Maria Rosa loves her job, and it shows: she transforms everything she touches into a jewel. The lunch was indescribable: abundant, imaginative, fragrant dishes (and hot, which is not a given!), masterfully prepared by the Chef. We celebrated our wedding on a beautiful day in late May, and despite the fear of the somewhat uncertain weather forecast, everything went perfectly. We want to thank everyone once again: Chef Carmelo, the wonderful Maria Rosa, all the dining room staff, and even those who worked behind the scenes to make our day unforgettable. The venue is simply stunning: pools, fountains, manicured lawns, and a dreamy atmosphere that left all our guests speechless. 27/10/2025: We dined at this restaurant during a visit to Ferrara. The location is strategic, just outside the historic center (parking isn't the easiest). The restaurant is small but charming, with a passionate owner who has made unconventional choices (e.g., the wine list features only non-Italian wines, with the exception of a few local producers). The menu is small, but the dishes are of the highest quality. Recommended.

24/04/2026: Feeling at home away from home is difficult, but not impossible. This hotel has everything you need to avoid feeling like a fish out of water. Located in a perfect location, halfway between the Teramo coast and the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga mountains, it's the perfect hub for those who want to enjoy all the region's tourist attractions. Excellent cuisine, a well-stocked bar, and above all, the warm and impeccable welcome of Donatella, her two daughters, and the entire staff. The taverna is beautiful, with its ancient well and glass grate overlooking the waters of the nearby Vomano River. Near the hotel, there are countless shops, a post office, and ATMs.

12/05/2026: A 4-star hotel that hosts an event late into the night without informing guests upon check-in already demonstrates a profound lack of the fundamental characteristic of the hotel industry: respect for the guest. Being deprived of sleep by blasting music late into the night, rooms on the first floor that aren't even soundproofed and don't even have quality windows and double-glazed windows, is deplorable. It's a pure feeling of helplessness in submitting to a condition imposed by the hotel that should instead safeguard the guest's stay. In this case, only one thing matters: how the hotel manager intervenes to regain even a modicum of trust from the guest. This, too, is disappointing. Added to this is the inability to contain the size of the party: the event room's French windows were wide open, guests spilled out into the courtyard to chat until the early hours, bass drums rattling the windows. Furthermore, they were deprived of any opportunity to order a drink during aperitif time because the bar service was suspended due to staff busy setting up a private event. A 4-star hotel… Rooms with dated, dark, and stained carpeting. Damaged furniture. Marked walls. When something goes wrong, I prefer to share the negatives in person and with management: it's a time investment and a chance to make amends. But in this specific case, there was no sign of regret, other than a dutiful verbal apology. This property has beautiful and original common areas, with tremendous potential, but it's poorly managed. For the future: adding a kind word at checkout, a further apology, and perhaps offering a bottle of water for the return journey could have been a much-appreciated gesture of solidarity. When you make a mistake, so badly, you need to have developed the ability to intervene professionally, and after the inconvenience caused, you failed to demonstrate any sign of empathy.

You don't go to Giuseppe Iannotti just to eat well, but to immerse yourself in an unconventional gastronomic tale, crafted with almost engineering-like precision and a rare sensitivity in transforming ingredients into ideas. Special mention goes to the spaghetti allo scoglio, which alone is worth the trip. It's not the classic seafood dish you might expect: it's a simple, concentrated, almost "distilled" version of seafood. The sea hits the palate directly, deeply, and clearly, with extraordinary intensity yet without heaviness. It's a dish that achieves something rare: being simultaneously sophisticated and immediate. The service, pace, and overall experience live up to the restaurant's reputation: everything contributes to the feeling of being in a unique place, where nothing is left to chance. Kresios is one of those places you never forget: authentic, bold, and distinctive signature cuisine.

15/02/2026: We purchased a gift card for this Michelin-starred restaurant, paying the full price for the tasting menu, just like any other customer. When we booked, however, we discovered that gift card holders are not allowed to book on Sundays, while the website states that standard reservations are available from Monday to Sunday without any restrictions. This restriction wasn't clearly stated at the time of purchase. If it had been, we would never have purchased the gift card: we would have simply booked and paid for the dinner as usual. This isn't a promotion or a discount. The price is identical. Yet the treatment is different. A real injustice. When we requested a refund, citing a lack of transparency, we were (naturally) told that "something can be agreed upon." A perplexing response: previously, Sundays weren't allowed for gift card holders, but now suddenly it's negotiable. A restaurant of this caliber should stand out for its fairness, clarity, and consistency, not for policies that change after the payment has been made. At the moment, we don't even know if we'll be taking the tasting tour, because the experience has already been compromised before it even begins. This review, in fact, isn't about the food—which we haven't tried yet—but exclusively about the management and transparency towards those who purchase a gift card. I urge anyone considering purchasing a gift card to carefully read the actual terms and conditions.

30/05/2026: Both seafood (excellent for my tastes) and meat menus, excellent service in a refined atmosphere. The smart lunch, where you can choose two courses, either seafood or meat, is a very popular choice. I usually go there for smart lunches, either with my husband or with friends.

02/05/2026: The location is beautiful, the food is overrated, nothing extraordinary that you can't find elsewhere. Obviously, dining out in the Galleria Subalpina is an exclusive experience that you rightly pay for. The staff is very cold and aloof, almost as if we were a nuisance. The staff is snobbish; I don't remember them smiling. I've been there a couple of times recently because I was invited, but I don't think I'll go again. There's plenty of competition out there.

26/04/2026: Spectacular! We had a conference group dinner there. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent and they varied the fixed menu to accommodate a friend who cannot tolerate gluten. Looking for a special meal for date night? This is the place.
