07/03/2026: Since we were students, we got a discount. Even though we ordered the most expensive menu (normally €39), we only paid €27. There is a buffet with a wide variety of food, from cold dishes to hot ones, including vegetables and meat. I recommend the chicken in tomato sauce. They also have fried items like fried banana and sweet potato. The staff also come around with large skewers of meat, and you can tell them how much you’d like. I tried picanha (a bit dry) and lamb (the smell was a bit too strong for me), but I think the best was the alette di pollo (chicken wings). At the end of the meal, they serve baked pineapple with cinnamon and sugar, which was very nice. I’m not sure how to rate the service. One thing I noticed is that they don’t have coat hangers. When I got home, I realized my coat had gotten dirty.

22/02/2026: Terrible experience. I went to La Mulata with high expectations, but lunch on February 22nd turned out to be a disaster. They charged us extra for "music and DJ set," then placed us on a separate veranda where we couldn't see or hear anything of the music. We ate in silence, cut off from the atmosphere we'd paid for. To make matters worse, the service was terrible. Despite politely pointing out to the cashier that we hadn't enjoyed the entertainment, they charged me a very high bill without any discount or apology. We will never return, and I strongly advise against it if you're looking for a Brazilian atmosphere; it will put you far away from everything.

03/12/2025: Bar Lux… a wonderful discovery Today I had the pleasure of celebrating my graduation at Bar Lux with friends and family. I can only say I'm more than satisfied: both the service and the staff were impeccable, always kind and helpful. A special thanks goes to Mr. Paolo for his great availability and patience, shown both with me and my mother during a truly wonderful, but also—let's face it—emotional moment. He handled every detail with professionalism, accommodating all our requests and even accommodating us when, at the last minute, we notified him of our arrival well in advance. I also highly recommend the cakes prepared by their pastry chef: to call them delicious is truly an understatement!

09/01/2026: We booked for three, and it was our first time dining here. Friends told us the food was good. We can confirm everything: from the welcome to the service, and especially the good quality of the meat. We'll definitely be back! 👍

26/12/2025: We returned for Christmas lunch, and everything was just as delicious as every year. The location has changed, but it's still welcoming, the venue has changed and is even more beautiful, and the parking lot is larger and more spacious. The staff are always smiling and professional, and the food is excellent! Highly recommended! If you like tartare and medium-rare meat, this is the perfect place!

12/10/2025: I had my wedding at La Tenuta del Gallo this past March. The location was lovely and members of my wedding party enjoyed staying in the rooms on the property. The food was also good and I appreciate the thorough organization. Definitely recommend!

17/12/2025: Bar/Bistro a few steps from Novacella Abbey. Not knowing where to go after visiting the abbey, I stopped for lunch. I chose this place at random, just to grab a bite to eat. Cute place, friendly owner. I ordered a couple of cold dishes and a dessert. Average prices for the area (not cheap). Positive experience.

02/01/2026: Undoubtedly the best place in Parioli! Wonderful wine cellar, luxurious location, and excellent service! From aperitif to dinner, and even after dinner, everything was wonderful! The ribeye steak is wonderful, worthy of applause.

28/02/2026: If you are an adventurous, you can find the walking path to this hotel from the train station. I used citymapper app. Uber between the hotel and the train station is around €30 for a short distance, so use Uber only when really need it and or you can afford it.

22/02/2026: We stayed at the Mirage Hotel Fiera for a trip to the Milan area and were very satisfied. The rooms were bright, the staff were welcoming, and the breakfast was plentiful and excellent! The final highlight was the in-house restaurant, Fuoco e Vino, which was truly amazing.

27/10/2025: We dined at this restaurant during a visit to Ferrara. The location is strategic, just outside the historic center (parking isn't the easiest). The restaurant is small but charming, with a passionate owner who has made unconventional choices (e.g., the wine list features only non-Italian wines, with the exception of a few local producers). The menu is small, but the dishes are of the highest quality. Recommended.
