A frequent visitor for years, every evening is a delight, thanks to Andrea and Alessio, their organization, and their attentive service.

20/08/2025: A profound disappointment! An ancient and historic pizzeria, we ate a unique pizza, which they only made there!!! The dough and cooking were typical of Est Est Est, it no longer exists! It was changed for some unknown reason, with a completely ordinary pizza, in fact... inedible, without soul and without heart. A real shame!

19/08/2025: Fine ingredients, vegetarian and fish menus of rare precision. Delicious pinsas, light and well-leavened, fragrant, and made with sublime ingredients. Attention to quality. The only place I know where, even on a Saturday night, you can converse at the table without any hassle. I think it's the best place to spend an evening in Ostia.

14/08/2025: I had the truffle pasta here and it was honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was rich and creamy, and the fresh truffle on top made it heavenly. The place has such a cozy, authentic vibe and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. It felt like the kind of spot you just want to come back to again and again.

A surprising dish that takes traditional Roman cuisine to the next level. 🔹 The ravioli del plin all'amatriciana with crispy bacon is a celebration of Lazio cuisine: the pasta is masterfully rolled, the filling rich in flavor, and the crispy bacon provides an irresistible savory note. 12/08/2025: Food - Absolutely fantastic, the pizza was fresh and packed full of flavour. Breschetta was also delicious with fresh tomatoes and herbs. We stopped here for a late lunch and only got a bit of food. Service - Overall the service was just okay. It took forever to get the bill because the server was busy talking with a friend. There was a few times we though they forgot about us. This could have been due to the time we visited as it was a really late lunch. Atmosphere - We sat on the Patio and it was nice even though it was so hot. They have fans under their canapy that helps move the air around so it was quite nice. Overall we really enjoyed our meal here and our drinks but the service could have been a bit better but I would still reccomend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

23/08/2025: For my birthday, I enjoyed the 5-course menu on the rooftop terrace. The location is truly a highlight, with its fantastic view and modern, relaxed, and sophisticated ambiance. The dishes were truly outstanding – freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and exceptionally tasty. The friendly and attentive service is also particularly noteworthy. I felt completely at home and can highly recommend the Ambrosia Roof.

29/07/2025: We came for the positive reviews, and I don't know if we'd have come anywhere else. The food was good, admittedly a little bland, but good. As for the service, we felt completely ignored throughout the meal. It took so long to bring our order that another table sat down and finished eating before us. When we finally finished, we wanted to order dessert and coffee, but it was impossible, as the conversation was with the table next to us. I think you either have an Apple Watch or you're close to the waiters, because if not, you won't be treated as you deserve. For this kind of service, it's definitely expensive.

12/08/2025: I watched a video by a Japanese YouTuber and found out in advance that the menu was available in Japanese if you displayed it using a QR code, which was very helpful. The staff were also very helpful, coming to ask me what I wanted when I had decided on my menu and quickly clearing away empty plates. This was a restaurant that I will remember for a long time.
