28/07/2025: Try the carbonara. Some of the best I’ve ever had.

28/07/2025: The food was good and delicious, and we were actually looking forward to a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, the mood was dampened by two things. The waitresses seemed distracted and seemed to have lost some of their enthusiasm for their job over the years. However, they weren't unfriendly. The restrooms – like almost everywhere in Italy – aren't the cleanest, and there's no toilet seat or lid. After dinner, we had to wait a long time before a waiter noticed us again. What was particularly annoying was that our handbag was stolen – right at the last table outside. Since there were no other guests sitting behind, in front of, or next to us, we placed it on the floor (don't do that in Italy under any circumstances; always keep your bag in front of you, close to your body!). A middle-aged couple sat down in the interior area, which was visible through an open glass door. Initially, the table was so far away from us that we could easily walk through the glass door. The table was inconspicuously pushed very close to us, making it impossible to get through. After discovering the theft, two or three waiters suddenly appeared at our table (even through the glass door!). Once the bag was no longer found, they quickly cleared the entire table. It felt like less than five minutes later, new guests were sitting at that table. We were only advised to go to the police, and given a brief description of how to get there. That was the extent of the support we received. Despite signs indicating that there was video surveillance, when we asked, we were told there was no video surveillance.

01/09/2025: It was my first time at this stunning location, and I couldn't have asked for a better setting to celebrate B&M's wedding. Everything was perfect: the harmonious blend of two different religions, two equally different languages, a wonderful sunny day, and the impeccable management of the wedding planners, Ursula and Eleonora, made this ceremony truly unique and special. An experience I will cherish forever.

22/08/2025: Il Bacaro is a charming and intimate spot, ideal for a romantic dinner or a quiet evening. The cuisine is well prepared, with traditional dishes full of flavor and a solid wine list to match. Service is friendly, though a bit slow at times, but nothing that spoils the overall experience. A great choice for those seeking authentic Roman flavors in a cozy atmosphere.

13/07/2025: The place is certainly beautiful, but the food... The quantities are absurd for the price and on top of that the dishes lack flavor. I am not gonna talk about the French fries, which are the size of cotton buds. The waiter was also a bit too present around our table. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant

10/08/2025: A traditional pub that I remembered frequenting as a kid, and rediscovering it almost by chance was a huge pleasure...I thought it no longer existed! Instead, it's still there, with the same helpful and friendly owners, the same excellent beers, and the same quality, freshly prepared cuisine. It was 5 stars, and 5 stars it remains. Timeless!! Thanks for still being there.

10/08/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Piccola Abbazia is a real gem! 🍺 Their IPA is simply spectacular: fragrant, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The gourmet sandwiches are a delight, with quality ingredients and original pairings. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, perfect for enjoying summer evenings with friends at the outdoor tables. I will definitely be back, highly recommended!

02/07/2025: If someone asked me where to find the worst pasta in the world, I’d probably say here. The pasta we had was incredibly bad — after just a couple of bites, I couldn’t eat any more. Honestly, how do you manage to serve such terrible pasta right in the heart of Italy? If you truly want to enjoy pasta or pizza in Italy, avoid the touristy central spots like this one. Instead, look for more humble, local places tucked away in the side streets. They usually offer better food, more authentic service, and fairer prices. Here, not only was the quality disappointing, but the service also felt arrogant and careless — and on top of that, it was more expensive than average.

The atmosphere is pleasant, ideal for a relaxed evening of good food. Prices are slightly above average, but justified by the overall quality of the experience. Recommended for those seeking a pizza out of the ordinary.

22/08/2025: Average. If you like Roman pizza, then it's good, and the ingredients are good. I expected a little more (but I really like Neapolitan pizza).

05/08/2025: Ristorante nella Casetta York, ricevimenti&eventi nella Villa, trattoria e pizzeria nella Casetta Rustica - quella da noi provata - e perfino "temporary lounge" negli Horti Romani, una sorta di salotto per aperitivi se ho ben capito : mamma mia, che confusione per un amante dell'intimità calda di una trattoriola buona, pulita, giusta come io sono! Il posto comunque è bello, e dietro alla grand'impresa c'è ovviamente una buona organizzazione, che si coglie anche in un servizio particolarmente celere, nonostante la ressa in una sera di un giorno feriale qualsiasi d'agosto! Della pizzeria, da rilevare anche un menù particolarmente ricco - ordini solo con il cellulare che fissa il QR-code "sa va sans dire", eh! - con menzione per il "frittorto" di pezzetti di ortaggi fritti (€8,50), buono e vario, e bene anche i supplì, in tre versioni (ragù, radicchio&gorgonzola, cacio&pepe, €2,50 ciascuno) e le verdire grigliate. Gran varietà di pizze e focacce cotte nei forni a legna, la nuova bufalina, con mozzarella di bufala a crudo e tanti pomodorini e olive taggiasche, meglio della Margherita con bufala cotta (entrambe €12). Nella sala interna l'insonorizzazione è non sufficiente, mentre il condizionamento d'aria non è troppo aggressivo. Conto medio- medioalto.

18/08/2025: I happened to drop off packages for Vinted. Besides being polite and professional, there was a problem with the scanner, and they were quick to fix it so the package could be delivered. Not a small deal, especially considering this time of year.

25/08/2025: I went to this restaurant with two friends for dinner. The staff was kind and welcoming. They offered us bruschetta with chickpea hummus and olive pâté. It was delicious, but it was a shame the bread was stale. I mentioned it to the waiter, and he said it was toasted, but we almost lost a tooth. Regarding cleanliness, my fork was dirty with cheese. I asked for a replacement, but unfortunately the second fork was also dirty, but with sauce. We ordered three different first courses; the pasta was subpar because it was rubbery. Regarding water, we asked for still water and they brought us a bottle dirty with limescale and filtered water. After the experience with the first courses, we decided not to order anything else and left. I definitely won't be returning, and I don't recommend it.

24/08/2025: A hidden spot, uncrowded, and best of all, spectacular food! On my last day in Italy, I couldn't have had a better experience. I tried the pasta, and my husband, who isn't a big fan of pasta, ordered the fish... and it was on another level. I'm so grateful to have found such a good place. We loved it so much that we ended up having lunch and dinner right here, and it's just a block from our hotel! A taste I'll remember.

17/08/2025: We came here for dinner with a tour group from Taiwan. The food was very delicious, the fish and apple pie were also delicious. I recommend you to come and enjoy it.

06/06/2025: We came in for a quick lunch to fit into a very short lunch break. The host immediately reassured us that we would have time to do everything in an hour. And so it was, there was also time for coffee and dessert. The apple crumble (cooked with a little cinnamon) with ice cream was very good. We had a nice plate of pasta with shrimp, cherry tomatoes and courgette flowers. The other person had a tuna tataki. Pasta cooked perfectly, good, quality shrimp and cherry tomatoes. High tataki, thickly sliced, a nice slice of fresh tuna cooked perfectly for a soft result.

13/05/2025: Very nice inside, you can also eat outside. We were welcomed warmly and even though it was a Monday night, the place was full. Inviting menu, I can recommend the parmigiana with pistachio grains as an appetizer, simply fabulous!
