We didn't have a plan for dinner and we stopped without looking at the menu to Osteria Barberini. And we weren't disappointed. Our waiter was fantastic. Kindly recommended us few dishes from the menu. As it was our first dinner in Italy ever. We went for traditional capreze and parma ham for starters plus carbonara and lasagne for mains. We were in food heaven.

The food is just average, the truffles have no flavor at all; The attitude of the two waiters in the restaurant was also very world-weary! You really don’t have to spend time and money to dine here, it’s really super ordinary and super not great!

Affordable truffle restaurant, many Asians come to eat Ordered black truffle pasta and black truffle risotto The pasta tastes great, the truffle aroma is rich, and it goes perfectly together. I ordered artichoke as an extra, and I really thought it was very delicious.

There were 2 of us. The food was good (2 courses at lunchtime). Not really an atmosphere, not very warm and not too friendly. Too bad for our last restaurant in the Eternal City.

This was an amazing place to eat. The struggles of being a tourist is knowing how to pace yourself. If you enjoy black truffle this is the best place to go to. This pasta and its sauce it’s amazing and you need to make room for it. It’s creamy and it has an amazing aroma. The soup and the chocolate here was great but nothing best the black truffle pasta in my opinion.

It was not as delicious as expected, and the portion was quite sufficient, but it felt like a pretty ordinary meal in Italy, so it was quite satisfactory.

Many Asians come here to eat, so you can make a reservation online in advance. The truffle risotto is full of flavor, and the truffle eggs are not as expected, just two poached eggs with fresh truffles.

02/04/2024: For the first time I had a good time... the owner was helpful... I'm a vegetarian... obviously I was warned beforehand... I ate vegetables... and a cacio e pepe..... My friends had fish... particular dishes such as artichokes in the Jewish style stuffed with fish, fried octopus with honey and liquorice powder on top..... In addition to fish, they also serve la pinsa meat....it's worth going back....the desserts are also good
