10/04/2026: Food was excellent and good value for the heart of Rome. The waiter Roberto was very friendly but not pushy. He showed the food on his iPad so a visual decision was possible. Excellent service by Roberto. Highly recommend Roberto and this restaurant

10/04/2026: I didn't get to have lunch or dinner there, but I'm sure it's good! I did have breakfast and an afternoon snack several times, and it was one of the best I've ever had. Sorry about the sandwich photo 🤣

04/05/2026: Osteria del Mercato needs no introduction, but I wanted to point out how delicious their vegan croissants are. I've never had them this good anywhere.

03/05/2026: We had a snack at this restaurant near Via del Corso. Decor: A small, attractive, and well-decorated place at first glance, but it turns out to be quite large. The bar and the displayed food are enticing. It looks appetizing. Price: The price/quality ratio is outrageous: 47 euros for two focaccias and two Diet Cokes, no less… Food: The salmon and avocado focaccia was good (but not worth the exorbitant price of €15.80), and the tomato and mozzarella focaccia was also good, but still very expensive. The former was served with a small bowl of fries, which added nothing. A bit pretentious, but decent in taste.

14/06/2026: The pasta was very spicy and they didn't warn you. The melon was bland. The white wine was poor quality. They charge €7 for service and €2 for bread.

10/06/2026: Right from the start, water isn't free and bread for the table isn't free either (which is very unusual for a sit down restaurant). Drinks and dishes were very pricey and the portions were tiny. More than likely this is just a tourist trap and we got fooled.

05/10/2025: Very unserious, the prices differ from what they listed on the menu, you order something and you get the same dish twice without any explanation, if you try to show them, they say that's what you ordered,.....it's not worth eating at that location.

04/10/2025: They managed to ruin a perfect evening!!! The story in short: this is a restaurant where you will be scammed by the staff. The employees' attitude is deplorable, and the QR code menu provided is specially designed to inflate the bill. Terrible food Terrible staff Do not recommend!!!

11/03/2026: The room on the eighth floor was a disaster. Above us was the restaurant where tables and chairs were dragged across the floor every evening until after midnight and again from 7 a.m. onwards. Inconsiderate. So loud that we either woke up or couldn't sleep. The room was old and run-down! The walls were partially dirty, and one electrical outlet was even charred. Corners and edges were chipped and patched up haphazardly. The bathroom door was just a glass door you could lean against. The bathtub had a mixing valve for the hot and cold water. No shower rod. Annoying shower curtains. High step-in. Not exactly safe. The back wall of the bathroom was a frosted glass partition facing the room. Great! Very strange. Like it had been added later. Not a double bed as described, but two single beds. We didn't like that. But we accepted it. No hotel information in the room. An uncomfortable office chair with wheels was in the room. No armchairs or chairs. No shelves in the bathroom by the bathtub (you didn't know where to put your own toiletries) or around the sink. No German channels on TV. Mirroring German channels from my phone didn't work either; the phone was too old. Some of the light switches were purely decorative. The room was definitely not worth the "stars" it received! It's nowhere near comparable to German standards. Breakfast was okay. We missed having baguettes or toast. Lots of sweets, but that's typical for Italy. Otherwise, it was alright. The staff varied greatly. Some were efficient, others just wanted to be left alone. At checkout, they didn't ask us if we had enjoyed our stay or anything like that, but they wanted €10 per person per day in tourist tax. Ridiculous for such a run-down town. Let the tourists pay for it. In short: we can't recommend this hotel. The price/performance ratio is terrible. My voucher, which I "won" at reception when I checked in (it was some kind of internal perk), was stolen from my room. What a shame! The only positive thing was perhaps the location. Relatively central, but we don't really have anything to compare it to.

10/03/2026: "I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Hotel La Griffe. After leaving our luggage in the luggage room, on the staff's recommendation, one of my personal belongings was stolen. Since then, despite our repeated requests, the hotel has provided no concrete answers. They keep passing the buck, and we are left without support or compensation. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel, as the customer service has been completely inadequate."

01/06/2026: On a cool late May evening, we dined at this restaurant located on Monte Mario (Rome). The place is welcoming and well-decorated, the staff friendly, and the food met our expectations. The price was average.

30/05/2026: We recently moved nearby and went to try it. The place is very well done with quality furnishings. It's a shame they didn't make the pizza with Neapolitan dough, which I love as a true Campanian. We tried the pizza and saw many tempting seafood dishes pass by, and we'll definitely be back. The service definitely needs a lot of improvement, and they noticed that too. The fries we ordered while waiting for the pizza arrived just as we were eating dessert. The pizza, even though it was made with Roman dough, which I'm less fond of, was very good. But the desserts... the real discovery 💡 delicious 🤤 Only the cheesecake was a bit small 😅

08/04/2026: Friendly and helpful staff. I've been coming here for two months now, every time I travel from Naples to Rome for work. It's become my regular stop. Quality food, super efficient service, and truly fair prices. Every time, people are greeted with a warm, cheerful "Buongiorno!"

18/12/2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Bar Caffè Rubini Poor hospitality: a good start to the day starts in the morning, but here it's completely missing. The cappuccino served seems like a simple macchiato, in a small glass. Neither thank you nor good morning. Avoid.

12/06/2026: Major shortcomings for a "4-star" hotel The location of the hotel is good, but unfortunately it is also the only positive thing along with one specific person on the staff. The hotel is marketed as 4-star, but by Swedish standards it is at most a 2-star standard. * **Emanuel at the reception:** The absolute only person in the entire hotel who was empathetic, friendly and professional. A fantastically nice person who made our children feel genuinely welcome. Location: The hotel is well located. The negatives and shortcomings: Poor service: The woman who owned or was the manager of the hotel had no sense of service at all. You almost felt you owed her money just by existing, which created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Worn out and in great need of renovation: The hotel is very old and worn out. There are broken tiles on the floors and the wallpaper has seen its best days. Dangerous bunk bed (disaster): The children's bunk bed was extremely small and so unstable that I was terrified that the children would fall out and hurt themselves. One of the children ended up sleeping on a mattress directly on the floor for safety reasons. Poor service: You only got one door key to the room, which is very impractical for a family. Hidden/extra costs: Despite the good location, nothing is included on the beach. You have to pay an extra €14 per day for a parasol and two sun loungers. **Summary:** We can go as far as to give the hotel 2 stars overall, and that's only because of Emanuel's fantastic service. We won't be back.

I especially appreciated the attention to detail in both presentation and taste the staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend dishes and ensure everything was just right. Service was smooth without being intrusive, overall, this restaurant offers a genuine taste of Italy and a memorable dining experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who appreciates great food and excellent service.

12/03/2026: A very spacious and impressive venue. It presents itself as a high-end restaurant with very professional service and very high prices. It's a shame that the final result was very disappointing. An expensive fillet, tough as a rock... cooked quite well but probably of mediocre quality. The appetizers were also rather bland. The wait was excessively long, even though the restaurant was practically empty. The service, despite appearing very professional, also faltered on two or three occasions over trivial matters. Disappointing and overpriced for the quality of the food.

09/02/2026: The Quirinale Hotel Restaurant. The service was exceptional, bordering on excessive. The waiter even placed my napkin on my leg. Because of my work, I've eaten at high-end restaurants, and Rossini's service is certainly up to par. However, the food was disappointing; perhaps we didn't choose their specialties. My partner ordered fish, and it was clearly freshly defrosted and poorly cooked. My sirloin steak was tough and dry for my taste. The wine by the glass was very good, but they charge extra. We saw other customers ordering Italian pasta and pizza dishes, but we weren't in the mood for dinner, so perhaps we didn't choose our dishes well. Congratulations to the front-of-house team; very well done, gentlemen.

23/03/2026: Restaurant inside the Mercure Rome Fiumicino hotel. Spacious atmosphere and average menu. Amatriciana and cacio e pepe are perhaps a little lighter in flavor than true Roman tradition. The restaurant also offers pizza. Courteous and helpful staff. Good coffee and a friendly and helpful barista.
