12/08/2024: Beautiful outside, inside... I had the pleasure of dining at Casette York and I must say that the experience was a mix of light and shade. The location is truly enchanting: surrounded by greenery, with private and supervised parking, and the atmosphere made magical by the lights that decorate the garden. An environment that, in itself, deserves top marks. However, once inside, some aspects leave something to be desired. Let's start with the food: the cuisine is simple and homely, with the exception of the desserts which stand out in quality and presentation, demonstrating an edge over the rest of the menu. Nonetheless, you have to take into account a fairly high cost: with a starter for two, two main courses, two desserts and a cheap bottle of wine, you can easily find yourself spending over 40 euros per person. A little too much, considering the type of cuisine offered. The real Achilles' heel, however, is the service. I'm sorry to say it, but there is a lot of room for improvement. The room is too noisy and overcrowded, which takes away the serenity that is sought in a restaurant of this quality. Perhaps it would be appropriate to reduce the number of tables or adopt solutions to improve the acoustics. The waiters, although courteous, sometimes seem a little inexperienced and inattentive to the details that make the difference. An example? A simple paper copy of the menu for those who don't have a telephone at hand, or a more prepared and informed telephone booking service on the layout of the tables and the configuration of the restaurant. Small measures that would greatly improve the customer experience. In conclusion, Casette York has enormous potential thanks to its beautiful location and a gastronomic offer which, with some adjustments, could satisfy more. However, at the moment, the value for money and the service are not up to expectations. I really hope that these observations can be useful to make a further leap in quality. It's a great place, and I'd love to return in the future and find it improved!

12/08/2024: I am a regular customer and have been frequenting La Casetta di Campagna for about ten years, visiting at least four times a year. However, the last experience, on the evening of August 2nd, was decidedly EMBARRASSING. Even though we had booked, we were told that the only place available was outside, in the garden. Once seated, we realized that there was no ventilation: the garden is surrounded by walls on all four sides and occluded from above by umbrellas. We asked the waiters if it would be possible to move inside, but were told there was no availability. The situation worsened with the arrival of the main courses. The meat dishes, served on heated cast iron, arrived while the outside temperature was at least 35 degrees. All of us were completely hot, making it impossible to enjoy dinner. Furthermore, the meat, unlike what usually happens, was tough and not very tasty. The worst moment, however, was at checkout. We expressed our disappointment to the cashier about the conditions in which we were forced to eat, receiving a laconic reply: "it was your choice". At this point, I have nothing else to add other than that I will evaluate other options in the future.

26/08/2024: What meat!!! Too good, I recommend the Chianina fillet, but steaks, loin etc. everything is good, it's worth it, book otherwise you risk it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

18/08/2024: I liked it for so many reasons! 1 the comfortable and friendly environment, everyone greets you, everyone smiles 2 the excellent food, plentiful, very fresh meat, top cured meats and homemade bread and pizza 3 the bottle of wine as a gift... it's the first time this has happened to me 🤣

26/07/2024: We are a Korean couple and we were so satisfied that we visited twice. The food was some of the best I've had in Rome and the prices were reasonable. I think the vongole pasta and steak were the best. It is reasonable not to pay seat rent. I think. The level of kindness is just right.

24/11/2024: I went during a break from work. I bought a vegan sandwich, very good. The price is very good, for the area it is in it is very accessible. The service is excellent, and you can see that everything they use to cook is of very good quality. Thank you, I will eat here again

03/08/2024: The servers were very nice but the dishes were not worth the price. I took the ravioli for €23, it was the size of a starter and my friend took a salmon salad for €22 or there was only salad (not really good), slices of salmon and some bread

12/08/2024: Unfortunately the spell has been broken, the change of direction has deteriorated the place, making it just like any other Italian trattoria, and not even an excellent one. My heart aches when I think back to the old Dolce, a real shame.

I celebrated my 50th birthday there and I go back every time to eat fish or pizza. Spectacular. Very kind staff.

I prezzi corrispondono alla qualità del cibo e del servizio, eccellente anche senza glutine...con pane fatto a mano da loro. Una piacevole scoperta in un’area che dovrebbe decisamente essere più valorizzata!

01/07/2024: Abbiamo scelto di pranzare al ristorante Terzo Gusto per festeggiare, insieme ai parenti e agli amici più stretti, il nostro matrimonio civile. Cercavamo un locale conviviale e con cibo di qualità non troppo lontano da Caracalla e devo dire a posteriori che non avremmo potuto fare scelta migliore. Mario ha accolto me e mio marito come dei figli ed ha avuto nei nostri confronti un'attenzione impagabile. Un mese prima dell'evento ci ha fatto assaggiare i piatti - tutti straordinari, dagli antipasti al dolce - ed il 27 giugno si è preso cura di ogni dettaglio affinché il nostro giorno fosse indimenticabile. Nel nostri cuori e nel ricordo degli ospiti, oltre alla bellezza del posto e alla cortesia di tutto il personale, rimarranno per sempre i tortelli di spigola con crema di datterino giallo ed il mitico tiramisù all'arancia, fatto per noi senza lattosio.
