02/03/2026: Archeologia Roma is a restaurant I hold dear to my heart. I ate wonderfully, with carefully prepared and flavorful dishes. The service was impeccable, professional, and never intrusive. The wine list was carefully selected and of excellent quality. All this in an immensely valuable historical context, making the experience even more special. Highly recommended.

12/01/2026: An inn at the foot of the pyramid. Welcoming, familiar, and with a delightful aroma of delicious food that whets the appetite. The excellent selection of meats is well presented by the chef at the counter, describing the different flavors of the various cuts. The bruschetta and amatriciana are outstanding, and I recommend them. The service is prompt and courteous, the prices are average, and overall, a place worth a visit.

01/03/2026: This was recommended by our hotel in the Monti neighborhood as a place serving traditional dishes that locals also frequent. It was popular with locals for drinks earlier in the evening when we were there for dinner (at 7 pm) and then popular for dinner as we were finishing up at 8:30. A nice lively crowd, but not too boisterous, hence the 5 for atmosphere. The food was more of a mama's kitchen preparation...fine but not refined and not especially well prepared or especially tasty. The service was good considering they were quite busy with indoor and outdoor tables and had one server and one bartender.

04/03/2026: A quick business lunch, but a very good product. Finally, a puntarella seasoned as it should be and a waitress who opens you a nice glass of local wine even if it wasn't on the "glass menu". The great classic spaghetti with clams is very good, the place on the lakeside is beautiful. Thank you, I hope to see you soon for a nice Sunday lunch.

01/03/2026: The only positive note was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, but unfortunately, everything else wasn't great. We were a table of six and spent €50 each for two dishes and a coffee each. The quality was average, considering the rubbery fried fish and the dishes were served at different times for everyone. The place is nice and everyone is friendly, but it's not worth it.

08/03/2026: I've been missing for a while, and the quality remains undiminished! You can order some of the best meats, cooked to perfection. In my opinion, it's among the best in Rome. The only flaw is the tables are all too close together, making the experience a bit uncomfortable and chaotic.

06/03/2026: Three stars for the atmosphere and the food. The waitress (I think her name is Ludovica) was a bit hasty and brusque when dealing with customers. For me, courtesy is paramount when dealing with the public. And the same can be said with kindness. For this reason, I don't think I'll return, even though the food is good. The other waiter, a young man, was, to be fair, courteous and polite.

04/01/2026: We were a family of seven, and we had made a reservation. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived, and the food was delicious. We had several appetizers, pasta, and risotto; everything was cooked with care, and the quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident. The service was also very efficient. Even though it was their last seating, they never rushed us, and we enjoyed a very pleasant after-dinner conversation. I will definitely return on my next visit to Rome.

20/02/2026: I was here on a Saturday evening with a couple of friends. I highly recommend this type of restaurant. The food was excellent. The waiters gave us perfect recommendations for their restaurant's most typical dishes. Everything was really good, and the price was worth it.

12/02/2026: Unfortunately, my first visit was for pizza, so it was very limited. The menu really tempts you to try anything, and even the dishes I saw passing by suggested they were very tasty. The pizza was good but not exceptionally good; I'll try again for the meat. Ad maiora!

13/01/2026: If you’re a tourist and have never been to an Italian restaurant, go to Cotto! Their lobster pasta, mozzarella and ham starter, and their danish beef and salmon is the purest food I’ve ever indulged in my life! I would also trust the waiters recommendation when it comes to choosing wine and it didn’t disappoint!

13/01/2026: Tommaso was a great waiter! His suggestions were perfect. Had the lobster pasta and artichoke. The salmon and fillet were really good. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

06/03/2026: Casina Valadier stands at the highest point of the Pincio, where Giuseppe Valadier crowned the new promenade above Piazza del Popolo with a neoclassical pavilion built between 1816 and 1837. It rose on the site of the seventeenth-century Casino del Cardinale Della Rota and over an ancient Roman cistern, beginning life as a meeting place and refreshment stop rather than a private villa. Its role later shifted sharply: under Pius IX it was reduced to storage and military use, and during the Second World War it served first the German military and then the British army. Restored in the early 2000s, it now lives again as a hospitality venue and belvedere, with its cubic body, Ionic exedra and hilltop setting still giving the Pincio one of its clearest architectural signatures.

06/03/2026: the scone was not really a scone…. it wasn’t sweet, wasn’t crumbly, more like a dense bread. it was 7€ for one scone! the british memorabilia was interesting but 7€ for a single teapot is a lot.

21/02/2026: We arrived to a place that was already packed. It's a Saturday night, and luckily we had reservations. They seated us right away and gave us time to look at the menu, which was concise and clear—and appetizing, I might add. The food was delicious, the service a little slow, but considering the place had a bar counter and there was a game on... understandable. Honorable mention goes to the waiters. I only saw three of them running around non-stop all evening, and one barmaid, who was also fantastic, worked with them to make the bar run smoothly. Aside from a few mix-ups during dessert, everything was fine. I'll definitely be back!

12/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, prompt and attentive service. I find the price list a bit pricey. I've attached the price for two, which includes two first courses and a fried dish, a glass of wine, a water, two desserts, and coffee. Note that there's also a cover charge. It's a bit pricey, even if the location is enviable.

01/02/2026: We had a fantastic stay at La Tenuta di Rocca Bruna Country Resort. The property is clean, welcoming, and beautiful, the service is impeccable, and the restaurant is delicious. The pool, surrounded by nature, is simply incredible. I highly recommend this place!
