We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on our trip through Italy and were absolutely thrilled. The service, the food, the ambiance, and the price were all absolutely outstanding! Grazie mille! 21/09/2025: Great experience. Relaxing Saturday evening. Exquisite Neapolitan pizza. I had the "Papillon," which was a constant surprise. Three different flavors: parmigiana, sausage, and broccoli rabe, with a ricotta filling in the center, arugula, parmesan shavings, and prosciutto on top. Delicious! The place is welcoming and comfortable. The owner is friendly, the pizza chef is excellent, and thanks to the waiter Marco.

19/09/2025: Tried pasta Carbonara. The dish was extremely over-salted, so much in fact that I was not able to finish it. This is even without mentioning the fact that the spaghetti were undercooked. And to top it, when I complained to the waiter, their reaction resembled something along the lines of “Ah, too bad, we apologise”. Didn’t offer to bring me another dish.

02/09/2025: A historic Roman villa that is slowly falling apart over time. Even the smallest details are neglected. Its true asset is its location.

01/10/2025: Very nice, quiet place, with a wide selection of beers and good, well-cooked food. I had the pulled pork bun and it was excellent. I must say it was also easy to digest, which is not a given!! Excellent value for money!

06/10/2025: It is a raw dimond! The food is gorgeous, the service polite and we found the best toilets in Rom. Seriously the food was amazing. The pasta was tasteful and on point. And the bread was crunchy and fresh cut. Totally recommend!

23/09/2025: The best tiramisu I've ever tasted! We also had pasta, which was very good too. The setting is pleasant, the prices are affordable, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend stopping here during your stay in Rome.

03/10/2025: The pizzas are unique. Classic yet reinterpreted, or gourmet. But always very digestible. I say this after repeated visits. The supplì are also excellent. On Saturday evenings, the large number of customers makes service difficult. They need more space.

10/10/2025: One of the most beautiful and well-maintained restaurants immersed in nature in all of Rome! Both the restaurant and the pizzeria are delicious. Excellent service. If you park further away, a golf cart will wait for you and take you inside the restaurant! Sublime food! Congratulations

21/09/2025: A positive experience (lunch on a Saturday in September), with a good tasting menu and a reasonable price. Recommended.

20/09/2025: Walked in, alone, just after opening. Despite arriving without a reservation, was greeted warmly and was sat with a fantastic view of Lake bracciano. The staff were superbly accomodating of my very poor italian, and allowed me to ask them multiple questions between options on their menu. They recommended the linguine with the fish of the day, and provided a wine recommendation that worked wonderfully together. For dessert, I was recommended their fruit tart with white chocalate ganache. By far one of the best desserts I've had during my time in italy. As mentioned above, their service was superb. Behind me was seated a group of somewhat loud individuals, and while I didn't mind them at all, the way they were treating the staff seemed extremely rude. Despite this, the staff never showed any signs of being unsettled or annoyed. I rarely say this for any restaurant outside of my town of residence, but I would easily take a trip to the town of Anguillara for the sole purpose of dining at Chalet Del Lago again.

01/10/2025: A friend of mine introduced me to it, and I've been back three different times...what can I say...amazing craft beers, delicious sandwiches and burgers, prepared with care! But the real added value is the guy who runs it! 5 well-deserved stars!

13/08/2025: While strolling through the streets of Frascati, we stumbled upon this bar, and we weren't wrong: beautiful atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Special thanks to the very kind owner for his warm welcome and for recommending a local fraschetta, just what we were looking for. He made our evening unforgettable! Thank you!
