10/03/2026: I used to go there in the '90s, and I came back with my family. The welcome is wonderful, the owner immediately puts you at ease. The dishes truly have a seafood flavor, and they have excellent recommendations. And a plus is that they welcome our four-legged friends.

09/03/2026: Beautiful and elegant, as soon as you enter, you can sense that hospitality is a cornerstone of the place, as I like to call it, Giorgiopensiero, accompanies the customer through everything that I would not call a banal lunch or dinner, but a well-rounded culinary experience. A pet-friendly place, where even our pets have their own space, well-spaced tables, a warm and elegant atmosphere, the staff are knowledgeable and welcoming and the dishes are simply fantastic, following the seasonality and every time, it is always like the first.... A refined cuisine, never banal or boring, rich in flavor, where the raw materials, truly high quality, are prepared with excellent care, applause to the guys who love their work, and all this comes across on the plate!! The best risotto I have ever tasted.... Highly recommended along with the stuffed pasta, the lightest and tastiest fried food..... In short, Giorgiopensiero has convinced me!!! 16/01/2026: A well-known restaurant in Ferrara that I found overrated compared to my high expectations. Personally, I find the menu rather boring and repetitive, almost always featuring only fish, and therefore it's not to my liking. The service, unless you're a known and loyal customer, isn't particularly attentive. The open space overlooking the street is interesting, especially in summer and fall. Recommended but with reservations; it's definitely a place that could improve, especially in terms of value for money. The reservation service could be improved.

04/11/2025: The Manager was fantastic. Our kids are 3y and 1y old and we were there quite late at around 7pm. He was very patient. He brought some colour pens and papers for the kids to keep them happy and made space on our table for some of our toys. We ordered our food and he said they will prepare the food for the kids first and once they are ready, they will start with ours so that we have some time to feed pur kids first. That was not only nice but also very caring. The food quality was very good, the portions were great and filled us pretty well and also the desert was absolutely awesome. Normally people want to sell as much as possible but the manager was different. When we ordered desert, he recommended to order one first because it might be too much and once we think we can make the second it won‘t take long. Bur also all other staff was vedy friendly and helpful. I don‘t know many places where people are so passionate in their job. Absolutely recommendable.

21/02/2026: Exceptionally good. The aroma wafts through the air as soon as you walk in. Not just a smell – the scent of wonderful food. And that's exactly what it is. There were 10 of us, and we enjoyed five courses together. Italian seafood cuisine with soul, of the finest quality and with meticulous attention to detail. Thank you!!!

21/02/2026: Well, this is one of the things I love most. The things that give meaning to a 1000km day trip 😂 I leave before dawn for Ancona, where I meet Paolo for the agreed-upon meeting and (immediately) ask him for a recommendation for a place to have lunch in a couple of hours on the way home. He suggests Rimini randomly, because wherever you fall, you fall, you land on your feet. But he suggests this place anyway. I go, find it easily, and immediately find parking a few meters away (perhaps beginner's luck). I take the opportunity to stroll on the beach and then approach the restaurant. Nice outdoor area with a few tables, recently renovated inside (without overdoing it - these are the places I like) with tables on two levels and very friendly staff. But let's get to the point... honestly, it's not an easy choice, but after a moment to study the menu, I decide to stick with the classics and order a chitarra allo scoglio (a type of seafood guitar) and a mixed fried fish. The pasta is fabulous. Cooked to perfection and seasoned even better! With the sauce alone, you could easily serve a soup. Very rich and varied. And it's been a long time since I've had sea asparagus. In the end, I couldn't help but mop up the entire dish with that magnificent piada wedges they brought me instead of bread. And to follow, a great mixed fried fish, and if the seafood raised my expectations, the fried fish only confirmed them. All washed down with a glass of Rebola Bianco still grape Pignoletto, excellent as everything else. To finish, coffee and cubes of homemade tart, kindly offered as a treat with the coffee. And guess what...? Fabulous!!! 😂😂😂 When I leave, the place is packed, so it went well for me, but next time I come I'll definitely make a reservation. Bottom line: Recommended for the quality, the welcome, and the quantity... But tonight, broth 😂!!

11/01/2026: We found this restaurant while wandering around the center of Sestola, and attracted by the excellent reviews, my friends and I decided to try it. We were impressed by the helpfulness and kindness of the staff, who managed to find us a table even though it was Saturday night, we hadn't booked, and the restaurant was packed. The menu was rich in flavor and well-executed; the fresh pasta was excellent, and the tender and flavorful fillet steak was tender. The dinner concluded with excellent homemade desserts. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

06/01/2026: On our last evening here in Sestola, my girlfriend and I happened to have dinner at this osteria in the center; everything we ordered was spectacular, without exception! We'll definitely be back, congratulations!

11/01/2026: I went to eat today and it was incredible, I ordered some crostini and they were delicious, then some tagliatelle and they were delicious both thanks to the fresh pasta (which was nice and long) and the artisanal sauce, then I had some beef meatballs which were delicious thanks to the quality meat and also the tomato sauce which was a little cold but it was spicy and I like spicy so I liked it and finally for dessert I had some mascarpone with chocolate on top which was delicious, 10/10, I will be back!

09/03/2026: I'm originally from Emilia-Romagna, but I've lived outside the region for many years. I decided to be a tourist in my own homeland. At the La Rocca Hotel, I found the sense of family I'd been longing for. I arrived a little late, but the kitchen was open. Since I was very tired and didn't want to eat much, the kitchen prepared an excellent vegetable dish and a hot potage for me, and traditional tagliatelle for a friend: the ingredients were extraordinary. The village is beautiful, and thanks to the key card, I was able to take a stroll after closing time. Even from my panoramic room, I could see the illuminated clock tower. The panoramic terrace is a dream. The La Rocca family welcomes you like no large hotel chain ever could, maintaining professionalism, elegance, and an exceptional attention to detail.

20/02/2026: The restaurant is located not far from the Two Towers, on a quaint alley in the city center. The atmosphere isn't large, but it's quiet and welcoming. The service is young and friendly. The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes are all excellent, from tagliatelle with ragù to tortellini in broth. The gramigna with sausage ragù is excellent, and the use of mountain parmesan from the small Rosola social dairy in the Modena Apennines is a real highlight. The main courses are also worth trying, especially when in doubt: pan-fried rabbit and beef cheek. Prices are reasonable for the quality. I recommend walking there; parking nearby is impossible.

The predominantly seafood menu is modest but top-notch, with excellent tastings and the option to customize. The wine list is extensive, and the service is impeccable, attentive, and professional. The price is appropriate for the experience. Highly recommended! 😁
