24/07/2025: This was my first time in Positano, and I never usually write reviews, but this time, I just had to! We had dinner at Ristorante Mirage and everything was simply amazing. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, with a special mention for the seafood incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. From the attentive service to the stunning view and relaxing atmosphere, it was an experience truly worth sharing. Highly recommended!

24/07/2025: 28 euros for a very mediocre vongole, 25 euros for 4 shrimp (literally)... Have lived in Italy for 10 years and disappointed in myself for falling for such a tourist trap. Don't recommend.

19/09/2025: I preferred the old management... higher prices.. not at all satisfied, smelly octopus and dishes served different from what we had ordered.. making excuses and climbing the mirrors without even apologizing only the environment is saved for the rest it is to be avoided a first course paid 30 euros but it absolutely did not deserve it paying a very high bill for three people.. sorry but as long as this management is there 🤦🤦🤦🤦 mom mj

15/05/2025: We had a lovely dinner with six of us last week and food was some of the best in Napoli. Run by some of the best people this is a must visit!

05/05/2025: Excelente restaurante familiar. Un poco escondido, muy tranquilo, con comida hecha con cariño y un trato excelente. Si vuelvo a visitar Nápoles seguro que vuelo a visitar Amici Mei.

21/11/2025: The hotel has a good location and nice facilities. Ample parking is available. The downside is the size of the rooms (small). Regarding the bathroom, we were only given enough toiletries (soap, shampoo) for two people, even though there were three of us. It also had a bad smell, apparently coming from the drains. Because of this, we had to keep the bathroom window open constantly, even though it was autumn, cold, and rainy during our stay. The reception staff, despite their kindness, didn't speak Spanish, making communication difficult. There's a pizzeria or restaurant next door that's connected to the hotel. The night before we left, we wanted to use the complimentary drink (a bottled juice) and also wanted to eat something there, as we were very tired. We had had a long day trip to Amalfi, Positano, and Sorrento. Of the three young men serving the tables, one was rude and discriminatory towards us. He wouldn't let us into the restaurant when I told him we were there for the complimentary drink. He told us the barmaid would serve us and that we should sit in some uncomfortable chairs near the entrance with very high tables. It was obvious to him that we were older women with limited mobility (in our sixties). Then he stayed behind chatting and laughing with his colleagues. The barmaid was also dismissive. This happened on November 20, 2025. It's unfortunate that an experience that could have been pleasant and memorable, like visiting beautiful Pompeii, was marred by a situation that could have been easily avoided with trained and respectful staff.

16/11/2025: I stayed in the Villa dei mistiri room and really enjoyed it, there is lots of attention to detail, it does not feel cheap or tacky, they've done it really well, the room is large and very clean. They did unfortunately have scaffolding up which obscured the view from the balcony. The breakfast had a huge variety of things and was all very good quality. The staff were always about and friendly, including the manager who would greet all their guests each morning at breakfast and let us know about anything going on in the area. Well worth the price, best location for Pompeii Ruins, good breakfast and really good rooms.

11/10/2025: The food was good but the menu was not very extensive and could have done with more choices. My husband's starter arrived but not mine, and when I asked the waitress she said ... oh did yiu order a starter 😏 it arrived a few minutes later. We had stuffed seabass for our mains which neither of us particularly liked even though we like seabass. The waitress seemed more much more attentive to the americans on the other two tables than to us. We found it to be a little pretentious and have been in better restaurants in the UK. My menu had no prices on it which is a little old fashioned in this day and age considering women's equality. If we were in Positano again we wouldn't go this restaurant!!

09/10/2025: My favorite restaurant. What can I say about this magical place? Excellent service, courteous staff always available to satisfy any request, under the watchful eye of "Don Antonio," the owner, and "Luigi." The cuisine features regional dishes revisited but still maintains the traditions of the true Amalfi Coast. The location, in my opinion, is the most beautiful terrace in Positano. Highly recommended; try it!

06/12/2025: The Best Irish Pub! Visited The Horse Shoe the 5 days that we were in Serrento. The beer and fresh hamburgers are great but the Expresso, Cosmopolitan, and a few other Martini's were exceptional that Mimmo crafted! The crew was exceptional and made us feel like long time friends.

08/11/2025: Good atmosphere where one can sit at the bar and have a conversation with the bartenders and other customers. Nino is engaging, good service and great beers.

30/09/2025: 🍷🥩 An experience that warms the heart and delights the palate 🥩🍷 If you're looking for a place where the aroma of grilled meat meets a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this is the restaurant for you. Each dish is carefully prepared, selecting only quality cuts and showcasing them with perfect cooking.

30/09/2025: Interesting menu, excellent service, and truly top-quality meat! Good value for money, but not for everyone.

22/10/2025: Delicious food, fast service, and very friendly staff. The place is welcoming and very cute, it feels like an Irish pub. The special feature is the board games available!

23/10/2025: I went without a reservation at the start of lunch and ordered pasta and polpo since they said they could serve for about an hour. In conclusion, this is one of the best restaurants. During my 32-day trip, this place and the Salerno restaurant were the best. The famous seafood stew has gone up in price to 120 euros. I haven't tried it, but it seems quite expensive. The pasta price is okay after tasting it. I recommend making a reservation.

23/10/2025: Excellent place to eat in Positano! It has incredible views of the beach. The food is recommended and the service is excellent. The prices are a little lower than the other beach restaurants.

28/10/2025: It was absolutely outrageous! We only had a light lunch since we weren't very hungry – we shared three dishes. At the end, they charged us an extra €3 per person as a service charge, so a total of €12 for four people, and then another 10% service charge on top of that (another €12). When I asked why the service charge was doubled, they said one was for "taxes" and the other for the staff. So, basically, €24 in tips – completely excessive! Never again will I fall into such a tourist trap!

26/10/2025: Very friendly and attentive staff, food was delicious and there were lots of extra surprises, definitely should have skipped lunch to have space for it all.

18/10/2025: This was my first time trying a course meal, and since I was on my honeymoon, I decided to give it a try. All the servers were so friendly and explained the dishes, and the food was unique, colorful, and delicious!! I want to come back when I've made a lot of money! Thank you for the wonderful memories!

07/10/2025: This is a 2 star Michelin restaurant and unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. The service was between good and average depending on who was serving. I chose from the a la carte menu: I had a tomatoe soup for entree - €75 Essentially tasted like blended tomatoes 🙄 I had the black cod for main which was nice - €90. But, unfortunately, I’ve had better elsewhere. My wife was unwell due to some food poisoning the day before so she asked for somwthing very simple. They served her chicken with brocoli and potatoes. The chicken wasn't seasoned, my 8 year old could make something more interesting. The potatoes saturated in butter. Fair enough this wasn't part of their menu but we felt like it was thrown together without any care or consideration. Finally, the seating is a little interesting. Half the restaurant is table and chairs as you might expect. The other half is sofas and armchairs which is quirky but impractical. The sofa is also a 2 seater sofa that could potentially be shared with the next table, and with not a lot of space inbetween. Overall, not overly impressed and wouldn't ever go back.
