17/05/2026: The pizza is very delicious and the choices of pizzas available are overwhelming. Many different tastes and all very creative. The ingredient are really fresh and the pizza extremely well cooked. We took the Contadina and the DOC. The contadina: the artichoke cream was incredibly tasty and the pairing with the speck absolutely fantastic. Taste is very well balanced with tendency to salty (because of the speck). The DOC: is a margherita with the buffalo mozzarella. Both, mozzarella and tomato paste were extremely tasty and fresh. The add on of a very small buffalo mozzarella in the middle of every pizza is a really nice touch. The dough is very well done and easy to digest.

21/02/2026: An Experience to Enjoy in Santa Maria Capua Vetere If there's a place where good food combines with a truly welcoming atmosphere, for me it's La Spelunca in Santa Maria Capua Vetere. It's the classic place where you immediately feel at home, but with a touch of elegance and attention to detail that makes you realize it's not just any place. And that garden, in the summer, must be a marvel for outdoor evenings! But let's get to what really matters: the food. I've had the pleasure of trying several dishes that have left an impression on me. Starting with a platter was an excellent choice, perfect for whetting the appetite and immediately understanding the quality of the ingredients. Then, the Genovese: a timeless classic, interpreted here with such mastery that it wins you over from the first bite. Intense and enveloping flavor, just as it should be. And what about the meat? The beef tartare was delicate and flavorful, a refreshing start before moving on to the main course. But the real highlight was the grilled meat. Believe me, you can tell they choose the ingredients with great care and cook them to perfection, bringing out every nuance. It melted in your mouth, a true delight for lovers of good meat! All accompanied by a beautiful selection of wines that know how to enhance each dish. And the staff? Always super helpful and attentive, they make you feel pampered throughout the evening. In short, La Spelunca is more than just a dinner, it's a true journey of flavors. Whether you're here for a special evening or simply to enjoy good food, it's a place I recommend without a second thought.

08/02/2026: Gastronomic excellence, ideal for professional meetings. During a lunch with colleagues, we had the pleasure of enjoying top-notch cuisine. The service was distinguished by impeccable courtesy and professionalism, managing the meal's timing with great skill and grace. The culinary offering is excellent: from refined appetizers to exquisitely crafted first courses, to a selection of certified-quality meats. The quality-price ratio is absolutely balanced. The only concern concerns the availability of parking, but the gastronomic experience more than makes up for it. A reliable choice.

11/08/2026: We went for a family birthday, 8 adults and 3 children. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were very kind and attentive, and the service was fast. The food was delicious, including the gluten-free sandwiches, which were truly delicious. They even offered us a bottle of sparkling wine at the end. Now that's hospitality!

08/05/2026: Lovely spot at the grande marina; worth the walk down and back up again. I choose the pasta of the day: handmade crab ravioli. I think it was the best and most interesting ravioli I have ever had; 5 stars!

06/05/2026: What a wonderful place. 7 night stay in Marina Grande and we ate here 3 times. Great food, beautifully prepared fish dishes. Crab ravioli, sea bass au gratin. Red snapper, and the fried fish fish, just too much to eat. Staff were top of the game. Not over priced. The setting watching the sun go down is just wonderful. And a big shout out to Nina who really did look after us. If I say 97 then hopefully she will remember us. Ice cold Limoncello to finish, simply the best. Don't walk past, you will miss an absolute gem Andy & Sue

11/06/2026: We stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights with our two daughters. It was fantastic, the staff incredibly friendly, and Marco took such good care of us. We would love to come back again.

12/08/2026: If I could give Max Ristorante more than 5 stars…I would. My family and I were only staying in Positano for 3 nights and had we found this place on our first night, we would have been here everyday! We came here on our second night by chance of accommodation for 12 and they had space. Thank goodness they did. Everything we ordered was made to perfection. The service was impeccable; personable service, gorgeous and serene atmosphere, and the feeling of just being home with your family. I have to give a shout out to the spaghetti pomodori and seafood risotto. Just so darn good we came back on our third and final night. Somehow everything that exceeded our expectations the night before skyrocketed even higher! What a beautiful place. If I am ever back in Positano, this will be my first stop. Grazie!

03/08/2026: We tried several different entrees and starters and none were very good. The risotto was extremely fishy with a brutal aftertaste as was the octopus spaghetti. Tasting the seafood is one thing but this was an unpleasant lingering effect. The service was even more lackluster. You expect laid back customer service but we were forgotten after the food was delivered. Never asked if we wanted another drink, never approached for dessert, had to get up and ask for the check after waiting 20 minutes without a visit from our waiter. Meanwhile the manager held an extended loud and animated conversation with the table next to ours with no concern to our experience. I would never go back with so many better options in Positano.

03/08/2026: The best food we had during our time in Positano. We stayed at hotel Merincanto. This was a beautiful restaurant with live music from a guy and a guitar and a beautiful voice! The food was AMAZING. Thank you!!

A special thank you because, when I asked for a candle on the cake for my husband's birthday, they didn't hesitate, making the moment even more special and enjoyable. 13/04/2026: A very charming historic pub located in the Fuorigrotta neighborhood of Naples. Truly unique sandwiches filled with top-quality ingredients. Wide selection of beers, very popular. The only drawback is the parking, which, given its location, is difficult to find.

01/05/2026: Unfortunately, the review mechanism... for those who believe in it... often triggers unpleasant situations. It's not fair not to recommend a place based solely on your own personal experience, perhaps even just once. Judgments about food service and staff described as awful!!! Terrible... often... are also the customers who, just because they are, arrogate to themselves the right to verbally attack the staff... who work hard, sacrificing holidays just to be able to work. Thaddeus is a place... today... where excellent value reigns... where helpfulness and courtesy reign supreme... where the food is delicious and of excellent quality. They work every day on a double shift. It's closed only on Monday evenings. It's a clean and well-kept place. Take a look around and then we'll talk about terrible places and owners. Ah... about the LONG WAIT... obviously preparing everything freshly with 50/60 seats... does add a bit to the wait. But it's preferable not to pre-cook burgers... or pasta... let alone pre-cook. But customers don't understand this... few are aware that it's better to wait an extra half hour and enjoy a great dish! And then I saw the owners cooking... serving tables... and clearing away! And that's not for everyone. The bathrooms are always clean and welcoming, even in the decor. The food... I repeat... nothing to complain about, from the appetizers to the desserts, which they prepare with top-notch ingredients and big brands. Go Thaddeus, keep it up, you're a FORCE!!!!! Oh, I forgot... I read about some vegans who complained 😂 Aside from the fact that they have Vegan Style, there are also salads, grilled vegetables, and various side dishes... Realize that you're entering a pub, a grill house, and a trattoria... where there's a wide selection for all tastes.

26/04/2026: Palazzo Avino is an enchanting place, where the beauty of the location blends perfectly with exquisite cuisine. However, what truly made our stay memorable was the kindness of the staff. A special mention goes to Marinella, who looked after us with extreme care throughout the lunch. In particular, we thank her from the bottom of our hearts for the support and sensitivity she showed when my fiancée was slightly ill; her presence was essential in managing an unpleasant episode with discretion and professionalism. We will definitely return to this corner of paradise. Highly recommended!
