21/06/2025: I went to this restaurant on the suggestion of friends and it was a great surprise, welcoming environment. Ordered risotto alla pescatora, fritto misto and chips, before starting the owner made us taste the bread with the delicious oil. Very knowledgeable and kind staff.

09/06/2025: We had a lovely late lunch here. We arrived an hour before closing and they didn’t rush us at all. Lovely desserts and we all enjoyed the seafood!

07/04/2025: Dopo 5 minuti dall'ordine sono arrivati 1 spaghetto ai frutti di mare con spaghetti precotti, salsa di pomodoro abbondantissima 10 cozze ed una cicala ed 1 capasanta, 2 porzioni di carne di alce riscaldata ( 38 euro a porzione) 2 calici di vino da 11 euro, se volete essere spennati è il posto giusto, p.s.abbiamo chiesto due caffè al vetro e sono arrivati due bicchieri con in fondo qualcosa di incommentabile

The staff was attentive, and the service was smooth and efficient. Drinks arrived promptly, followed by the antipasto – Tagliere Valdostana. The selection was excellent, with the standout being the mustard jam, which added a unique and delightful twist to the flavors. For the main course, I had ravioli with reindeer ragù, accompanied by berries. This dish was simply outstanding—one of the best meals I have ever tasted. The combination of rich, savory ragù with the subtle sweetness of the berries created a perfect balance of flavors. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and food quality exceeded all my expectations. A huge thank you for this wonderful experience—I can’t wait to return!.

27/06/2025: Waiters who don't pay attention to you or deceive you by telling you that they would arrive in 2 minutes but disappear. Too bad the food is pretty good. The view is the only thing worth it. A piece of advice? If you like standing outside and staring into space while they gently tease you, then this is the perfect place otherwise: run away while you still can.

23/06/2025: Let's start with the fact that they have little attention to the customer. We ate on a dirty table. The drink arrived 10 minutes after the food, a disaster! It is only saved by the quality of the food.

15/03/2025: Abbiamo preso il menù del giorno, i primi che abbiamo ordinato erano davvero indimenticabili, molto buoni complimenti . Invece sui secondi ci sarebbe qualcosa di riguardare, il gusto che non era quello che ci si aspettava dopo i primi ci aspettavamo dei finocchi gratinati con gran entusiasmo ma ci siamo trovati dei finocchi che erano tutto tranne gratinati. Comunque spero che la direzione prendi dei provvedimenti perché come posto è davvero molto bello! Lo consiglio ma incrociando le dita per la cucina.

25/05/2025: Calling it an ice cream shop is daring, little choice of ice creams, the taste of my ice cream was not pleasant, in addition to having found pieces of ice inside; we sit at the table outside to consume it but they make us get up because "busy" P.s. After twenty minutes other people sat down. Not recommended!!!

20/05/2025: Eccellenza assoluta. Il direttore Roberto e la direttrice Imma sanno benissimo cosa vuole dire accogliere e far stare bene l’ospite di questa incredibile struttura. In cucina lo chef Salvatore valorizza ed esalta la cucina locale con piatti eccellenti. Una tappa gastronomica imperdibile se si visita l’isola di Capri. Complimenti a tutto lo staff. Ciliegina sulla torta la nuova apertura del locale a-Ma-Re, osteria e pizzeria sopra la grotta Azzurra.

09/04/2025: The entrance is tucked away at the end of a galeria but, once inside, it’s a different world. The first floor dining area overlooks the church and the mountains and you can watch the sun set. The staff are helpful, welcoming and attentive. We didn’t have a reservation but they gave us a lovely table by the window. The service was fast, despite their hosting 40-odd children on the lower floor on a ski trip. The food was fab, from proper Neapolitan-style pizzas to an enormous (serves more than one) salumi/charcuterie board to the tartare made from flavoursome regionally-bred beef. And superb value for money when compared to other local eateries (such as Pinky). Between my wife, my daughter and me, we’ve been coming to Sestriere for years but this is the first time we’ve been to Il Centro for years. Thoroughly recommended.

25/05/2025: Off season it's empty but don't let that put you off, the food is stunning. Perfect service and the scallops for starter were perfectly cooked, but the steak was the best I've had in a long time. So well treated, so well cooked and flavoursome. Story ate most of it before I remembered to take a photo

01/05/2025: Premetto che il personale è davvero il plus del locale, accogliente e molto disponibile. Rispetto alla cena, buoni gli antipasti ( uovo a bassa temperatura e capesante), da rivedere -a nostro parere - le portate principali; peraltro abbiamo aspettato quasi 45 minuti tra antipasti e primi. Comunque, locale carino, cantina buona...mi aspettavo meglio dalla cucina.

22/04/2025: Die Küche hat ihre Highlights (Lamm) und ihre Lowlights (kalter Fisch serviert). Das Service ist bemüht, kommt aber nicht wirklich über einen mittleren Standard hinaus. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war die Atmosphäre. Man sitzt in einem in die Jahre gekommenen Wintergarten und das Lokal wirkt kalt. Hier scheinen auch nur Touristen zu speisen und keine Einheimischen, was wir in Italien nie als gutes Zeichen erlebt haben.

14/04/2025: Cenamos aquí por mi cumpleaños y tuvimos una noche muy encantadora. Las mesas de la pequeña terraza de la azotea están en un lugar muy romántico, con la cumbre del Monte Etna justo visible sobre los antiguos tejados. Fuimos muy bien atendidos por el personal y las opciones de comida y vino fueron algunos de los mejores que probamos en Taormina.

09/06/2025: J’étais déjà venue au Pastificio Defilippis et j’en avais gardé un excellent souvenir. Cette fois encore, l’expérience a été très agréable : les serveurs sont vraiment gentils et ont réussi à nous trouver une table alors qu’on n’avait pas réservé. Le cadre est charmant, bien décoré, on s’y sent bien. La cuisine est toujours aussi bonne. La première fois, j’avais mangé des pâtes à l’arrabbiata que j’avais adorées, et j’étais venue exprès pour les reprendre — mais ici la carte change souvent, donc il faut savoir qu’on ne retrouve pas forcément les plats d’une fois sur l’autre. Ce n’est pas un restaurant de « classiques » comme la carbonara, le pesto ou le ragù : ici, on trouve plutôt des recettes originales comme des pâtes aux courgettes ou aux fruits de mer. C’est une cuisine qui sort de l’ordinaire, raffinée, bien travaillée. En revanche, les prix sont un peu élevés (comptez facilement 17-18 € le plat), et les portions sont assez petites — on a encore un peu faim en sortant. Donc le rapport qualité-prix peut paraître un peu juste. Mais les desserts sont très bons aussi, et l’ensemble reste une belle adresse si vous cherchez un resto de pâtes un peu différent à Turin.

02/06/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale davvero meritevole. Molto bello e con tocco elegante, personale molto cortese e in gamba, prodotti di ottima qualità cucinati con maestria. Consigliatissimo

03/07/2025: On a hot weekday evening, we found Hosteria del Mercato by chance (and we’re so glad we did!). The place had a calm, friendly vibe that pulled us in right away. It’s a beautiful restaurant, quietly tucked near the Spanish Steps, even though it’s just a short walk from the busy, high-end shopping street, Via Condotti. The service was excellent. The staff were kind and quick to help with anything we needed. They really made us feel welcome and well cared for. The food was amazing. We had two delicious bruschette: one with tomatoes, anchovies, and pecorino cheese, and another with stracciatella cheese, courgette flower, and anchovies. Then we had saltimbocca alla romana with creamy mashed potatoes. Every dish was full of flavor and the ingriends were high quality. Hosteria del Mercato is a real hidden gem, especially in such a busy part of Rome. If you love good food and a relaxed atmosphere, this place is a must. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back.
