21/01/2025: siamo stati in questo agriturismo per festeggiare il ritorno di un parente. buon ristorante dove si apprezzano ottimi antipasti caldi e freddi una buona varieta' di primi tutti del territorio e dei secondi alla brace come agnello e arrosticini freschi e gustosi .....ottimi prezzi da ritornarci.

11/03/2025: Wednesday and our friend in Montorio is closed, we ask a local friend who directs us to Anfora, not far from Montorio al Vomano in Basciano The place is very beautiful, a large car park with a pond inside, a chalet that could be an annex or a comfortable place to spend a few days at peace with the world. The large, well-kept location, wood is the protagonist of the interiors, pillars, beams, coverings are in a beautiful material that makes you feel at home Several rooms that overlook the large internal courtyard with trees and plants, the well-kept and refined mise en place, ours, a nice round table for 6 people, there are 4 of us and it is perfect, the way I like it, the menu is varied and the offer is intriguing, but today we wanted to overdo it and eat some excellent grilled meat, so we immediately head for a slice of Amphora cooked in the oven in rosemary cocotte, then seasonal side dishes, cooked and grilled vegetables and baked potatoes The choice is immediately confirmed by everyone, so you go for cocotte, lamia rare though! The wine list is well stocked and even if those of my friend Luigi Ulisse are present, I don't see the legendary Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, so I ask if they also had reds in addition to the legendary Cerasuolo, Pecorino and Cococciola, must wines from Tenuta Ulisse, but the meat asked for a Montepulciano, done well Asking costs nothing and the answer is a winner, it's not on the menu but it's there so go to Ulisse My friends are amazed by the body and fruitfulness of this wine and I am proud of it, I send the usual photo to Luigi and we await the cuts They arrive together with the side dishes, impeccable service, but mine arrives a moment later so as not to make mistakes, perfect There is nothing to say, even if the cut is not among the most noble and often considered level B, if cooked like this, scented with rosemary which I love, I even marinate mine in wine with rosemary, remarkable experience, compliments Then I never end a nice lunch without dessert; therefore, I ask them to tell us about them again and they recommend an apple pie, hot from the oven, which arrives on its gheridon in all its splendor, whole to be cut and served with some custard scented with star anise A passito wine accompanies it to delight in its goodness Truly an excellent unexpected lunch We will be with you often, you can count on us! well done!

12/01/2025: Giving five stars to this pizza is an understatement! Fragrant, well-leavened and digestible dough, excellent quality ingredients, the stracciatella and anchovies melted in your mouth. I have visited many pizzerias around Italy and the world, pizza is a sacred dish, and I can say without problems that this is the best I have ever eaten so far! Doubly happy to have it relatively close to home, so I'll definitely be back! Congratulations 👏🏼

21/01/2025: Agriturismo a pochi chilometri da Teramo. Servizio informale ma cortese. Piatti tipici abruzzesi con antipasto di salumi e formaggi veramente buono. Eccellenti gli arrosticini e le birre. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Da ritornare

01/01/2025: Lovely place in the middle of the countryside! Very kind, friendly and helpful staff. I had the opportunity to stay overnight and taste only breakfast, but I promise to try the restaurant too. The only flaw is the slightly dated mattresses, otherwise highly recommended.

20/03/2025: We chose this restaurant, appreciating it for its genuine cuisine since the times when the owner ran it in Torano Nuovo, now in Sant'Omero. We like it for its simple cuisine, inspired by the Abruzzo tradition, which offers local delicacies without frills, with particular attention to the well-being of the diner (we are what we eat). The seasonings and salt are dosed with balance. We find it ideal for a lunch break during work, thanks to freshly prepared dishes and a friendly environment, perfect for breaking up the daily routine. The combination of traditional dishes and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a point of reference to try, with modest prices that allow even daily attendance. We highly recommend this restaurant and applause goes to the "master" who keeps us healthy, maintaining a varied and delicious cuisine. Thanks so much! Oh, I forgot! They also make spectacular gripper!

17/03/2025: Following Di Stefano's review, which is usually a guarantee, I stopped for lunch with my husband. I wanted to order grilled lamb but it wasn't available, nor was there chicken with potatoes. They offered me grilled turkey breast but it was obviously cooked in a pan and to show that it was grilled they put small pieces of charcoal on top; it's a shame that they also ended up on top of the cabbage on the same plate. My husband chose the chitarra del postiglione, a generous dish and expertly served, it's a shame that the pasta didn't go well with the sauce. We ordered sparkling water but the bottle, used several times because it was probably filled by a distributor, I don't think had been washed on the outside since the days of the postilions. The bill included €15 for turkey breast and cabbage, €14 for chitarra with ricotta and sausage ragù, a sparkling water, two coffees and €5 for two covers. Total €38 discounted to €35. For €2.50 per person for a cover charge, I expect at least fabric tablecloths and a teaspoon for the coffee instead of the disposable stirrer... and maybe a bottle properly sanitized after each use. The place is almost empty so serve yourself without any rush. Given the many positive reviews, perhaps we simply didn't choose the right day... too bad.
