26/02/2026: Last night we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was attentive and polite—no complaints about the staff. However, after dinner, my boyfriend and I developed symptoms of food poisoning. It was a very difficult night. Judging by our order, the problem was most likely related to the fish (photos of the dishes are attached). In an establishment of this caliber, you'd expect strict quality control and freshness of ingredients, especially when it comes to fish. Unfortunately, our experience was completely different. Very disappointed. I hope management will pay attention to the quality and storage conditions of the food. I'm very disappointed in the restaurant. The atmosphere and the service are very attentive and polite—it's a personal mistake. Purtroppo, dopo la cena io e il mio compagno abbiamo accusato sintomi di intossicazione alimentare. La notte è stata davvero difficile. Considerando ciò che abbiamo ordinato, è molto probabile che il problema fosse legato al pesce (alleghiamo foto dei piatti). In un locale di questo livello ci si aspetta un rigoroso controllo della qualità e della freschezza dei prodotti, soprattutto quando si tratta di pesce. La nostra esperienza, purtroppo, è stata ben diversa dalle aspettative. Siamo molto delusi. Speriamo che la direzione presti maggiore attenzione alla qualità e alla conservazione degli alimenti.

13/04/2026: A real shame... a place that pays homage to greenery but leaves you with plastic cups in your room, just like at breakfast. The spa is a little gem, but there's basically no option for you to wear a bathrobe because they provide them inside, along with slippers (not wrapped, so you don't know if they're sterilized). The changing room is really tiny, the shower area is nonexistent, and we weren't told about any treatments available. However, the option of having it private, even if only for a short time, makes it very pleasant. Dinner was perfect, with typical local dishes perfectly respected; I ate really well. The room was quite large but not very clean; there were many insects, both dead and alive, and we pointed this out during checkout. Breakfast was provided at a reduced rate, but I recommend adding eggs and removing the plastic cups. Is it worth it? If you're used to luxury, no, if you love good food and a beautiful view to enjoy in peace, then yes. A word of advice: invest in quality mattresses.

07/04/2026: We spent Easter lunch at Country House Il Cascinale in Colonnella and it was a truly excellent experience. The quality of the food was impeccable, with carefully prepared dishes, authentic flavors, and top-quality ingredients. The service was outstanding for its professionalism, attentiveness, and organization. The location is simply marvelous, with a splendid view of the hills and the sea, and elegant, well-maintained, and welcoming spaces, perfect for special occasions like Easter lunch. A special thanks to our waitress, Antonella, for her precise and punctual service, always attentive to the needs of the guests and her great courtesy. Congratulations to the entire staff for their excellent management and for making our Easter lunch/my birthday a truly successful occasion.

15/01/2026: I went today for the first time after visiting the Sanctuary. I usually go to another restaurant nearby, but luckily it was closed today, forcing me to change. I chose "La Perla del Gran Sasso" because it was the only one open and because I'd already heard good things about it. The location is very simple but welcoming. The waitress is very professional, kind, and quick with service. I chose the €25 fixed menu. Pappardelle with duck sauce. Duck with sauce. Mixed roast (3 types of meat: lamb, pork, rabbit). Ascolana olives and cremini mushrooms. Mixed salad. Cake. Coffee. Wine and water. The portions were generous and excellent. Very fair price. I recommend it to everyone. I'll be back!!!

13/04/2026: I've been back several times in the last few months for both lunch and dinner... consistent quality and friendly, attentive service. It's truly a pleasure, and the value for money is truly excellent. Abruzzo is surprising, but increasingly a guarantee... arrosticini, bruschetta, fried potatoes and olives for a snack, and a breathtaking sunset... what better way to end a Sunday? We returned as a couple to the small room with the fireplace... love the atmosphere and the dishes!

28/03/2026: We came last night for dinner with friends. We were very satisfied with the food, the owner's friendliness, and the service. The beer was excellent, as was the wine she recommended, the Illuminati red. I recommend this place for their simplicity and professionalism. It was a lovely evening.

12/04/2026: An evening to forget, incredibly slow service, 45 minutes to get a bottle of water after arriving, two waiters for the entire place who couldn't get through due to the number of tables, the fried cheese batter inside was still raw, the liver arrosticini were tiny and burned, and the classic ones were ridiculously priced at 1.20 each, absurd! We arrived at 9 PM and finished at 10:45 PM, having eaten two pieces of fried cheese and 25 arrosticini! The location alone was beautiful!

11/04/2026: A very, very nice place, cozy and welcoming. As are the people who work there. The staff are helpful, very polite, and attentive to the customer's needs (personal opinion)! We ordered two pizzas, and they were impeccable, I'd say. The wait was short despite the almost full capacity. It seems like someone really knows what they're doing in the oven... The dough is light and the toppings are of a good quality. For those of you who, like me, love tiramisu and appreciate the flavor of almonds... ORDER IT and enjoy it to the end.

07/04/2026: What can I say? We fell in love with it. It's all, everything... perfect!!! When you serve food with love, there can be no flaws, and truly, in this corner of paradise where we stopped by pure chance (what's more, on Easter Monday, when all the planets were aligned to reserve us a magnificent outdoor table), we enjoyed exquisite food with attentive and friendly service. And what can I say about the place? It was also wonderful for our dogs, who were able to enjoy this green space with us. Oscar took advantage of the opportunity to swim in the pond and clean it of branches🤣😎. Thanks to all the staff and owners, wonderful people. You deserve all our respect👍👍👍💪💪💪

21/03/2026: On our way back from vacation, we stopped for lunch. What can I say? Everything was excellent. The Cannolicchio pasta for the first course was excellent, and the Scottadito for the second course was superb. Water and Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo rosé wine, two covers, the female staff were excellent. We recommend it. We returned on the weekend of October 25th/26th for Sunday lunch, by reservation, with my extended family of five. They seated us at a nice round table. We had a wonderful time and had a lunch with Fiocchi. The female staff were excellent. Mrs. Monica, the owner, is very kind and excellent 👍🌹👍 We wish you an 👍Excellent👍2026 We returned on Saturday, February 28th a table for 4, a lunch with all the trimmings everything was perfect and delicious, and to finish in style with Mrs. Monica, always available and kind very good, see you next time 👍😋🌹😋👍

28/03/2026: I went there for dinner, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The service was perfect, along with the presentation of the individual dishes. We ordered the cod tasting menu with 6 hot and cold selections, highly recommended: every bite is an experience. Then we sampled two first courses: egg tagliatelle with cod and black truffle, and the cod casket (with filling), each one better than the other. Ask the staff for recommendations on dishes to try (the menu changes throughout the year). The dessert was also good.
