20/07/2026: From the square, you'd never guess it's a welcoming place inside. The staff is very friendly and immediately puts you at ease. The room isn't very large but it's welcoming. The only flaw is the upholstery on the chairs, which isn't suitable for prolonged sitting, but it's very hot these days. The menu is extensive and the servings are generous, classic Abruzzo cuisine. We chose traditional dishes, including the suggested melon salad, which was excellent. The first course is their specialty, while the mixed roast was a hit. Dessert: the sweet pizza was one of the best we've tasted. And to finish, a good coffee. Don't add sugar. I forgot about the wine; the house wine is full-bodied and excellent, but don't overdo it if you have to drive, as the return roads are challenging. If you're going on specific days, it's best to book.

15/07/2026: Extremely dirty and smelly bar. I showed her my card to pay, and she swiped cash, got angry, and attacked me, saying I should have told her earlier. A woman told her to call the owner, and she arrogantly told him I'm not calling anyone, if you want, go and withdraw and pay for the popsicles for the child. I told her to refund the money and repay, and she yelled at me, saying I was the bartender, and she then forced me to put the popsicles down, making the child feel sick. I highly discourage the bar because of the staff, the customers, all alcoholics, and the language they used, and the bartender, with a child present.

17/05/2026: A small museum in the center of Castelli. A gem!

05/01/2026: Museo chiuso dal periodo del Covid fino a data ignota, i paesani ci hanno detto per ristrutturazione. Sul sito del Comune chiaramente non c'è scritto niente e quindi abbiamo fatto un viaggio a vuoto (fine Agosto 2020). Si trova in posizione scomoda, in un paese incuneato tra i monti e terremotato che dovrebbe fare dell'unico punto di forza che ha, la ceramica ed il suo museo, un motivo di attrazione turistica anziché languire lamentandosi della classe politica.

07/04/2026: My partner and I had lunch at Easter. We had a wonderful time. They're a very friendly family, and the food is delicious and locally sourced. They also accept pets.

30/03/2026: Rinsed, exorbitant price for really bad quality, hair found in the dishes and unpleasant reception staff, bread is extra as is parmesan, nothing is indicated as being extra except the menus, avoid at all costs.
