03/05/2026: I was really excited to try a Neapolitan pizza in Abruzzo: as a native of Campania, my expectations were inevitably very high. Unfortunately, however, the experience left a bitter taste in our mouths, and I'm truly sorry to have to write this review. Before ordering, I specifically asked if roasted eggplant was available, and they confirmed they were. That's precisely why I was disappointed when the pizza arrived with fried eggplant, without being informed of the change. Furthermore, both my pizza and my boyfriend's were overly salty; perhaps this was related to the quality or the type of pancetta used, which should be reconsidered. It's a real shame, because the dough was truly excellent: light, well-leavened, and very pleasant. As for the service, I found it rather rushed: my boyfriend was trying to make a request, but wasn't even allowed to speak. In the end, we wanted to order dessert, but no waiter came to the table, and our dishes were taken away without us asking. On a positive note, however, the owner was very friendly: a sign that certainly gives us hope. Overall, a pizzeria with good potential, especially for the quality of the dough, but it could improve on order accuracy and customer service.

11/05/2026: Excellent bar, café, and pastry shop. Fast table service. Helpful, friendly, polite, and professional staff. Ample uncovered parking with side entrance. You can sit indoors or in the garden. A wide selection of desserts. The croissants, especially the freshly filled almond ones, are fragrant, fresh, large, and uniquely delicious, rarely found elsewhere. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean. The restrooms are decent, but small and cramped. In my opinion, they should be expanded and upgraded to accommodate the number of daily customers. The restaurant is located at a major north/south/west intersection and is a popular destination for quick, convivial breakfasts for families and workers. Excellent management, focused on continuous improvement for the benefit of their customers.

04/05/2026: Excellent seafood restaurant, a must-visit if you're in the area! Besides the beauty and uniqueness of the restaurant, which resembles the interior of a ship, with a spacious dining room overlooking the waterfront, the fish is incredibly fresh and delicious. Exquisite, refined, and high-quality dishes; every course, from appetizer to dessert, will leave you speechless. I recommend trying the monkfish, it's excellent! The staff are kind and attentive, and the owners are welcoming and helpful. This place is truly a treat!

By reservation, they also make an excellent fish broth (with or without bones, as you prefer), which is an experience in itself!

26/04/2026: Very nice place with convenient private parking. Excellent pizzas, both the dough and the toppings are good, using quality ingredients. The service is a little slow, but courteous and discreet.

27/02/2026: We had a great time, and even though we booked late that evening (Saturday), they invited us in anyway, letting us know we'd have to wait a few minutes, then seated us. Very friendly, the pizza was extraordinary, with just the right flavors, a good wine we chose by the bottle, coffee, and dessert. The price was fair.

24/02/2026: I had a pizza, the buffalo mozzarella, and I enjoyed it. My wife, on the other hand, had the capricciosa, but she found the cooked ham to be of terrible quality, so she didn't eat it all. One thing I didn't like, however, was that it was too hot—maybe 30 degrees—and in fact, all the staff were wearing short sleeves, so they couldn't hear it.

19/04/2026: I ordered an appetizer and they brought me a plate of bread and oil along with the appetizer. After I finished that, for the appetizer, with the arrosticini, I asked for more bread because they didn't bring it to me by default. In the end, they charged me twice for the bread. So, in their opinion, the appetizer should be brought without bread? They bring it by default, charging it even if you didn't order it. Well, then the arrosticini were barely warm. In the end, they charged me twice for the arrosticini, and after I asked for an explanation, they told me that one was a cover charge. The waitress then insisted that I had to read the receipt from bottom to top to understand. Well.

02/05/2026: We chose this restaurant by chance a few months ago, since we're not from the area, but we made an excellent choice. Every time we come to Rome, we come for lunch or dinner. A quiet, elegant place, with very professional staff who pay attention to the little details. Thanks, see you next time.

20/02/2026: Yesterday we had two seafood risottos with baby octopus, clams, and shrimp. They were out of this world, believe me, I could have eaten a kilo of them. They were so good. The fried fish was well-cooked, and the sea bass with potatoes was delicious. But the risotto was mind-blowing. The owner was too serious, so let's smile, my goodness.

03/05/2026: Il Ghiottone in Francavilla deserves all its stars! Delicious food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A great place for dinner with friends. We had a very pleasant evening with excellent, artistic appetizers and dessert. The price was also very reasonable. The staff was kind and friendly! We'll be back.
