03/07/2026: Bar Prometeo is a regular meeting place in Ripa Teatina, especially for all the students from the University Campus and for Fausto Esposito, director of the Monteverdi Band and Orchestra. It's right near the campus entrance, so it's packed with students between classes. *Location and Location*: 1. *Where it's located*: Via Roma, Ripa Teatina CH, adjacent to the Campus d'Annunzio. After class, it's a two-minute walk. Free street parking is available in front, but it fills up quickly on class days. 2. *Ambience*: A classic Abruzzo bar, but freshened up. Inside, a long bar, 10 high tables, and 6 tables with chairs. Outside, a terrace with 8 tables under a canopy, open from March to October. Walls filled with photos of university events and posters for concerts by the Monteverdi Orchestra and the Band. A youthful atmosphere, with background music that's never too loud. 3. *Capacity*: Inside seats 30, outside another 25-30. At 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., it's packed with students between classes. In the evenings, it's quieter, when professors and musicians come. *Coffee and Breakfast*: 4. *Coffee*: Lavazza coffee, well-pressed and short, just the way the people of Abruzzo like it. €1.20. Croissants with butter, cream, jam, and chocolate are made in the morning by a local bakery. Hot sandwiches with ham/cheese and salami. From 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., it's breakfast for campus commuters. 5. *Morning Aperitifs*: Fausto Esposito often stops by after morning orchestra rehearsals. He grabs a cappuccino and croissant and stops to chat with the students. The kids say he's right at home. *Lunch and Sandwich Shop*: 6. Sandwiches: Made to order with wood-fired Ripa bread. Classics: porchetta and arugula €4, sausage and broccoli rabe €4.50, ham and mozzarella €3.50. 180g burger with fries €7. Generous portions, crusty bread on the outside. 7. *Quick Dishes*: Toast, piadinas, mixed salads €5. First course of the day only on Thursdays and Fridays: guitar pasta with meat sauce or cacio e pepe €8. Small but fast kitchen, you can be out in 10 minutes even with a queue. 8. *Student Hours*: From 12:30 to 2:30 PM is "campus shift." Lines stretch all the way outside, but the staff is quick. Many people order at the counter and eat on the campus walls. *Bar and Evening Aperitifs*: 9. *Aperol Spritz, Campari*: €4, served with olives and fries. In the summer, Abruzzo craft beers on tap: Opperbacco, Birra del Borgo. Bottles €5-6. 10. *Platter*: Local cured meats and cheeses €12 for 2. Fausto Esposito often comes in the evenings with the orchestra musicians to toast after concerts. They say it's the place where extra rehearsals and post-event dinners are held. 11. *Closing*: Open until 9:30 PM on weekdays, 11:00 PM Friday/Saturday. Closed Sundays. *Client and Atmosphere*: 12. *Students*: 80% of the clientele are university students. They study at the tables with laptops, form WhatsApp groups, and organize parties. Free and fast WiFi, power outlets at the outdoor tables. 13. *Musicians*: Fausto Esposito is a longtime customer. He often brings the entire orchestra after concerts at the Teatro Marrucino. The owner reserves the large table outside for him. When he's there, the atmosphere becomes a "music salon," with discussions about Monteverdi, rehearsals, and concerts. 14. *Staff*: 3 young, very fast guys. They know everyone by name if you're from campus. If you bring sheet music or instruments, they'll even let you in with your case. *Prices*: Everything is cheap like a university bar. Coffee €1.20, cappuccino €1.50, sandwich €3.50-4.50, spritz €4. Pay at the counter, receipt on the spot. *Accessibility*: Step-free entrance, small but accessible ground-floor restroom. Outdoor tables on flat floors. In short: it's the official "campus bar." If you study at Ripa Teatina, you'll stop by at least once a day. Fast, honest food, student prices, and a lively atmosphere. If you're coming to meet Fausto Esposito or the musicians, stop by after 7:30 pm or after the concerts: that's where he always hangs out.

26/08/2025: A truly welcoming place. Everything is delicious, all natural and carefully prepared. The sandwiches are delicious, made with quality ingredients. The place is spotless and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We'll be back, I highly recommend it.

22/07/2025: We discovered Centrale Trivigliana by chance, but it was a wonderful surprise! The burgers are truly excellent, made with quality ingredients that you can taste from the first bite. Everything is artisanal: from the beers to the Coke (yes, they make it themselves!), to the sandwiches, which are homemade and truly make a difference. The menu is varied and well-designed, with original and tasty options that showcase local flavors with a creative touch. The staff was super friendly and helpful throughout the evening, helping to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The location is also very nice, perfect for enjoying a burger in peace. An additional detail we appreciated? The carefully curated and pleasant music playlist, which accompanied the dinner without interrupting the conversation. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended for those seeking quality, authenticity, and a different experience than the usual fast food!

23/08/2025: My wife and I stumbled upon this agriturismo by chance while touring inland Abruzzo. A beautiful place, with truly excellent traditional Abruzzese cuisine, but above all, local meat cooked in the Argentine style, called Asado. But perhaps the biggest surprise of all was when the owner explained to us why he cooks meat this way and his idea of a Sunday lunch, or at least a holiday lunch. We listened to a story of migrants and solidarity, a story that truly came from the heart and that deeply shaped him, to the point of being reflected in his vision of catering. We ate for a long time because the dishes were served to us along with all the other diners (he welcomed us even though we were a little late, so the appetizer was served immediately), then the first course, and then the asado served directly on a charcoal grill at the table to keep it warm. It felt like eating at a family celebration with relatives who came to visit on a Sunday when you haven't seen them for a long time. A restaurant with attention to detail. The care and passion this Italian-(or rather) Abruzzo-Argentine family has put into this magnificent place is immediately evident. 15/08/2025: An evening spent in a truly wonderful setting. Outdoor dining amidst the trees, strung with fairy lights, creates an unreal atmosphere. The food is excellent, and the service is friendly and efficient. An old sheep track has been impeccably and tastefully renovated. The glass structure used for cooking asado is a special feature.

08/06/2026: We spent a wonderful day at this restaurant celebrating our First Communion. The food was truly excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and served with care. Every dish was greatly appreciated by everyone, even asking for seconds. The added bonus is definitely the view: a beautiful vista that makes the atmosphere even more pleasant and relaxing. The staff was also courteous and helpful, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a location with a spectacular view. We will definitely be back!

11/06/2026: My wife and I decided to celebrate our wedding at Agriturismo Pesolillo. We made a choice that wasn't perfect, but more so: The service from the owner and staff was superb. There was obsessive attention both before the event, during it, and afterward. We decided to hold the ceremony on site. They have a gazebo available that's perfect for this type of event. We had everything beautifully set up thanks to the florist, and the agriturismo provided chairs for our guests. The ceremony began at 6:00 PM in the first week of June. We were lucky because the weather was perfect. The restaurant's exterior at sunset is pure magic. Beyond the well-kept lawn, the pool, and the aforementioned gazebo, outside you can admire a beautiful panorama that spans the green hills, the Gran Sasso mountain, and all the way to the sea. Absolutely beautiful. Inside, we occupied the large dining room. Thanks to the large windows, the light continued to flood in, framing the appetizers being served at the tables. The food: Everything was excellent. From appetizers to dessert. Seasonal vegetables and fruit grown in the outdoor garden, homemade pasta, and homemade oil and wine... The wine won over all the guests. Spectacular. The mixed roast was very well cooked and plentiful. The lamb was delicious. Finally, since we were inviting guests from outside Italy, I chose to use the rooms the venue offers. Both my guests and I had a great time. The rooms were large, clean, and tidy. I can only give this venue top marks. For my wife and I, it was a fantastic experience that we will remember for a lifetime. Rating 10/10.
