23/09/2025: Exceptional service, considering it was a Sunday lunch with over 50 diners served by just two waiters. The food was good, but nothing special. The atmosphere was basic.

14/10/2025: The agriturismo is a truly well-maintained and welcoming property, surrounded by greenery and boasting an enviable location: quiet yet easily accessible. The interior spaces are spacious, bright, and tastefully furnished, exuding a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The room was impeccable: clean, quiet, and equipped with all the necessary comforts, with a view that offered peace and relaxation. The outdoor pool deserves special mention: large, well-maintained, and surrounded by a solarium, perfect for relaxing on sunny days. A small point, however, goes to the indoor pool, which could use more maintenance: a few overlooked details limit its full enjoyment, which is a shame considering the overall quality of the property. Regarding the food, the quality was good, with dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. However, the menu price seems excessive for the type of agriturismo and the simplicity of the dishes. For those like me, a true Abruzzese, who are familiar with the authenticity and traditional craftsmanship of local products, the discrepancy between cost and perceived value is evident. Overall, the experience was very positive: an ideal place for those seeking relaxation, nature, and comfort, but with room for improvement in the value for money of the cuisine and the maintenance of the indoor pool.

12/10/2025: The place is beautiful with a lake view. We ate all the local products which were really good, you could taste the homemade cuisine and the excellent raw materials.

15/10/2025: A must for pizza by the slice. A huge selection of pizzas by the slice. Excellent prices. Short wait times. You can call and order whatever you want and have it ready for pickup. A San Salvo institution with outdoor seating in the summer and spring. Tables are also available on the veranda and inside. If you're passing through San Salvo, stop by. Worth it!

22/11/2025: There were two of us, we ordered an omelette and two pizzas, after a short while the waitress comes and asks us if it was okay for us to have the pizzas first because the oil in the fryer had suddenly cooled down 😑. Frozen omelette €5. There was a smell coming from the bathroom. The pizzas arrived, one of the two wrong, but we didn't say anything and ate it. When we got to the checkout we were immediately told that the cash register was blocked and also the POS, so we were forced to go and withdraw and then come back to pay, without even having the receipt after paying.

18/11/2025: Hello, Although I went in with my husband and the decor wasn't appealing, it didn't stop me from staying. The lady serving was very friendly and professional. The pizza 🍕😋 is a work of poetry, a work of art by the chef, who served the pizzas with love and great precision. If I'm ever passing through, I'll stop by your place. 23/09/2025: We first met Verino here, during the tasting and selection of dishes for our wedding menu, held at the splendid location "Tra Cielo e Mare." From our first meeting, Verino instilled trust, serenity, and honesty, sharing the history of the venue and his personal growth, and instilling in us a sense of security for the organization of our wedding day. From that evening on, Verino was a constant presence, allowing us to experience our day with complete peace of mind. He guided us discreetly, yet attentively, throughout every moment of our day, from the opening toast to the cutting of the cake. Every aspect was handled with such care that we were able to enjoy our day without a care in the world. As for the cuisine, both we and our guests were won over: refined dishes, surprising flavor combinations, and a special attention to all needs (celiacs, vegetarians, vegans, and intolerances). The service was impeccable, with all the waiters extremely kind and attentive, without ever being intrusive. What was offered to us was crucial to the success of our party: in the days that followed, all of our guests complimented us on the quality and abundance of the food and the excellent service. We, the bride and groom, felt supported and pampered both in the months leading up to and on the day of the ceremony. It was a fantastic experience. With Verino and his staff, success is guaranteed! Molto adatto per coppie, specialmente se richiedete con anticipo il tavolo con baldacchino in riva (senza costi in più, ho chiesto dato che ero curioso). Ho preso come antipasto due gamberi rossi che, oltre ad essere super freschi, avevano una salsa agli agrumi impeccabile. Come primo invece un tripudio di scampi con le linguine dove ho dovuto fare la scarpetta. Personale professionale e preparato, un ringraziamento particolare a Sara che, nonostante fossi da solo, mi ha trattato come un cliente di prim'ordine. SUPER CONSIGLIATO!

11/10/2025: This trattoria perfectly represents the strategic backbone of what suburban dining in Italy should be. It's a small-to-medium sized establishment in Villa Santa Maria (CH), boasting the reputation of being the Home of Chefs because its excellent hotel management school has consistently produced numerous nationally and internationally renowned chefs over the decades. In my opinion, Onofrio Caffè is a practically perfect trattoria of its kind. Overlooking the Sangro River below, it has small, welcoming spaces and well-spaced tables. Its menu doesn't exceed 3-4 options per category (appetizers, first courses, second courses, desserts), but each dish perfectly showcases the region and its excellence. The portions are generous and the prices are truly excellent considering the quality of the ingredients. I would definitely recommend the pasta alla Onofrio (which, however, isn't always available on the menu) and certainly the excellent lamb, offered at a very fair price. The owner-chef waits at the tables and is always courteous and smiling, an excellent host. Bravo! Highly recommended for a lunch stop. It's a shame it's closed for dinner...
