23/08/2025: We went for lunch during a trip from Puglia to Lombardy. The restaurant is just a few minutes' drive from the highway exit. Upon arrival, we were given a table outside (on the sidewalk) because we were traveling with our dog (the restaurant has tables inside and on a sort of terrace, while the sidewalk tables are for bar service). Once seated, we waited over 20 minutes before they set our table and took our orders. The staff was very courteous, but we felt they were having a bit of a hard time with the number of people. The hot appetizer was unimpressive, the grilled meat was average except for the sausage, which was really good. We also ordered a side dish (fried mozzarella balls), which was a bit disappointing in both quantity and quality. We also ordered a portion of arrosticini, and I must say they were good quality. The price was in line with the location and the quality of the food. Certainly, some aspects could be improved, but it's a good choice for a quick lunch to break up the highway commute.

22/08/2025: This trattoria is located in Montepagano's main square. It offers traditional dishes at affordable prices in a warm and welcoming setting. The dining room and customer service reflect the spirit of Montepagano. The outdoor area is a real gem.

08/07/2025: Capitati per caso in questo lido/ristorante, non do 5 stelle perché la scelta per chi non mangia pesce è piuttosto limitata. In ogni caso abbiamo preso 3 primi, due allo scoglio e uno al pomodoro. Davvero molto buoni, la pasta era fatta a mano. Location suggestiva, praticamente si mangia vista mare.

04/09/2025: We've had lunch here several times and have always been extremely satisfied, so much so that we decided to stay the entire afternoon, renting lounge chairs and an umbrella. The fish is incredibly fresh and expertly prepared, the overall atmosphere is convivial and welcoming, and the prices are excellent, even compared to neighboring establishments.

21/08/2025: I stopped for lunch with two friends and we had linguine with clams and mixed fried fish. Everything was delicious. The staff was young, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend it.

08/09/2025: Response to the owner: It's clear you're just playing your own game, but even reading other reviews (Google) repeatedly shows that the wait is a minus for your system, certainly the opposite of the quality of your cuisine, which is often praised. For the reservation system, a single confirmation message is sufficient; confirmation confirmation isn't necessary, and especially the various surveys the following day. The fact that you took the time to respond to our negative review, explaining what happened, distorting it to cover up your own shortcomings and attempt to nullify our feedback, yet you, the managers/owners, didn't show up the same evening as the incident, speaks volumes about how you accept criticism. One clarification: the very kind young lady absolutely didn't recommend anything to us to pass the time, as we already knew what to order. She simply advised us to order as much as possible because if we'd asked for other things later, we would have had to wait longer. The wait times you described are unrealistic, as, for example, the waitress, coming to our table for the first time, apologized for the wait, saying, "Sorry, I lost you!" When we signaled to leave, the waitress anticipated us, asking if we were waiting for the bruschetta, unaware that the appetizer hadn't even been served. This indicates a much longer wait and, above all, disorganization among the staff, something we already explained in the previous review. No regrets or hard feelings, but be honest in admitting that there was a problem. Responding to compliments is easy, but mocking dissatisfied customers, in the eyes of those who are unable to judge because they are not present, is extremely unprofessional. Lack of experience A few days ago, I went to this restaurant, having booked a 9:30 PM table for two people. We arrived around 9:15 PM and after a long wait outside with no one to greet us, we were finally shown to our table and left there for another good 20 minutes. After calling a waitress, we managed to order: a prosciutto fritter and three bruschettas, even being pressured to choose all our dishes at once, otherwise we would have had to wait much longer for any additional courses. After waiting almost 45 minutes, without receiving anything except water, we called the waitress, who didn't know we were still waiting for our appetizers. At that point, we decided to leave, despite the waitress's attempts to reassure us that the courses would soon arrive. I'd like to emphasize the kindness of the girl who served us and her lack of responsibility in all of this, unlike the managers, who didn't even show up to apologize or mediate the situation, sending the girl ahead. We wanted to pay for the water, but it was "free." Note: The restaurant was occupied by about 20-25 people, who were already halfway through or finishing their meal. They are particularly persistent with follow-up emails and experience surveys, which are obviously automatic and pre-set.

06/09/2025: A terrible presentation for this cheese restaurant, and let me explain: we tried to book by phone not once, but hundreds of times. Despite there being a link to a phone number with reservations written on it, the call was immediately rejected with a strange ringing tone. At that point, the only solution was to fill out a mandatory online form with your personal information to attempt to reserve a table through a booking portal… as if we were on the website of a large five-star luxury hotel! What if someone wasn't accustomed to all this technology, or simply didn't have the desire or the means at that moment, and felt more comfortable making a simple phone call? No, you can't! Because according to these gentlemen, the only way to book is online… In short, we weren't able to do so, and to avoid a long, wasted trip, we gave up on our intention to dine at this restaurant. Are you kidding? Better to go back to your roots in the mountains and herd sheep.

08/08/2025: A simple and charming beach restaurant. Free parking across the street ensures a stress-free arrival. The service is fast and friendly. To my children's delight, the dishes on the menu are accompanied by photos, and they actually look like that. And not unimportant... the prices are extremely fair.

28/06/2025: This evening I was in this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, where I invited friends and children with my grandchildren. The dinner was sublime, where everyone had the possibility of choosing on the menu. Fresh and artfully cooked food, I was also able to choose an excellent wine 🍷 through the wine list and through shelves where there was a wide range of first-rate wines. The environment as usual welcoming and always well-ordered and clean. The service as always punctual and precise. The prices are very affordable and always in line with the products ordered. An evening spent in joy and carefree. Once again I compliment the owners who are humble, very polite, as well as always up to the situation.

24/07/2025: Locanda informale anni ‘80 con piccolo spazio esterno dove poter mangiare tranquillamente anche all’aperto. Abbiamo provato gli antipasti, la grigliata con patate, arrosticini, dolce. La vera tradizione casereccia locale. Nella semplicità, tanta sostanza e genuinità. Personale molto cortese. Il tutto a prezzi più che onesti! Un ottimo riferimento per la zona. Ci ritorneremo volentieri…
