18/01/2025: Bellissime vacanze sugli Apennini ,siamo andati a "LaVecchia Fattoria" dopo una passeggiata , menù incantevole, molto buono tutto dall' antipasto al dolce !! Molto gentile la ragazza( gemella di un maschio) che ci raccontava che ha fatto il liceo ,però serve in tavola e, visto che sono a conduzione familiare ; la mamma è la chef.bravissima !! Il proprietario , suo marito, ha fatto il militare a Sappada , dove noi avevamo una casa ...e faceva le sciate con Maurilio del Zolt campione di sci da fondo .Bellissima esperienza!!

02/11/2024: We went to eat at the sailor's grottino in Pescara, about a week ago, it was an experience to forget, we ordered: seafood salad for two, not to be reordered since there was nothing to make it clear that it was a seafood salad. The first one, I didn't really understand if it was fresh fish or dated. Even frying took its time. However, the bill was very colorful. To be avoided.

25/04/2025: I came to visit my daughter who lives in Teramo and I had dinner for two days in a row at this Osteria. I tasted typical products such as handmade arrosticini and chitarra alla teramana, which I found to be truly exquisite and of high quality. The second day we tasted the pizza al piatto and I must say that it was really very good, well seasoned, crunchy, light and digestible dough. Furthermore, the kind and polite staff completed the very positive experience. I will definitely be back! Congratulations.

09/04/2025: Given that I have been going to this place for many years, since the management changed I have always had a bad time, even the last time the dried kebabs arrived, I spoke to a waitress and she justified herself by telling me that they had not had time to mature the meat. I'm so sorry because it was a staple for kebabs. I hope the old ownership returns and takes over the place again. And a shame if that wasn't the case. Thanks and good work to all of you

26/04/2025: Food 1 star because the algebraic result of ARROSTICINI 5 and DIVERSI -4. I draw a veil over the roast lamb, stringy, tasteless, brought cold first and perhaps reheated later. They told us that it was milk lamb but I believe that even if it had been, not even the worst chef would have been able to hide its flavor from an Abruzzese, as it turned out! Better the sheep than the arrosticini! These are really good. On the DIVERSI section to "review in September", if I ever have to go back, given the little impression they made on me with the other diners, all from northern Italy, passionate about Abruzzo. I explained to them anyway that it was a bad day for cooking (at least I hope so!). Vasto and its brodetto helped me forget this bad experience. And to think that this city has given me many emotions in the kitchen, also on the occasion of the Panarda del prof. Stanziani, unforgettable headmaster of the Villa Santamaria Chefs School, organized on the occasion of the Mastrogiurato. A small reflection for the benefit of the lady, I think owner or manager of the hardware store and the chef: if someone tries to politely put at their disposal a less than brilliant experience with some dish, let them make the best use of it, reflecting on it to improve. In Abruzzo it was used this way and almost everywhere this good custom is still practiced. It is fine to remain bitter but insisting by putting the customer in difficulty, boasting reasons that have not been found is a sin for the restaurant, mortal if that restaurant is from Abruzzo! Warm greetings and long live my Abruzzo forever.

25/04/2025: Stopped by for lunch. Eaten badly. Lamb arrived cold and bland as well as flavorless. The menu indicated lamb with a side of potatoes. Here comes a cold tasteless lamb covered in cherry tomatoes, sweet potatoes, slices of grilled corn😣Terrible. It didn't even feel like we were in Italy but in those countries where they try to reproduce Italian cuisine. Failed!o

12/03/2025: Passing through the historic center of L'Aquila at 9 in the morning, I decided to stop in a place with the artistic name ART CAFFÈ. As soon as I entered, I immediately noticed a messy environment (euphemism), with a poorly maintained workbench, not up to the standard of a bar. I still wanted to give the place a chance and ordered a coffee. When it arrived, served in a large cup, I immediately noticed something strange: the sugar sank in instantly, leaving no trace. When stirring, the consistency seemed watery and creamless. At the first sip, every doubt was confirmed. After paying one euro, I left without looking back.
