25/05/2025: Pes Pizzeria located in via Salara Vecchia in Pescara, makes excellent pizzas, light and crispy, with doughs also highly recommended cereals. The environment is welcoming and the staff is kind and helpful, helping to create a nice and pleasant atmosphere. In addition to pizza, the place offers very good focaccia and, during the lunch break, also first courses, second courses and salads, making it ideal for both an informal dinner and a quick lunch. 30/09/2025: We dined in August at this magnificent, traditional farmhouse in the Abruzzo hinterland, recommended by a local couple. The garden is beautiful, with its lights and tables set among the olive trees. Inside, it's very rustic and lived-in! There's a warm, family atmosphere. The food is plentiful, with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Everything was excellent!

There's also a wide selection of pizzas, both red and white, to enjoy in or take out. Those who want to order takeout can call to reserve and pick up their pizza at the agreed-upon time. They're always punctual. They also offer a children's menu or baby pizzas, so anyone with children will be happy. The place is small but cozy. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and professional. Parking is easy outside. They don't cater to gluten-free eaters.

16/08/2025: We made a special trip here for lunch because a lady at a winery in Penne suggested we come to this particular village if we like lamb. No menu, which is fine, we like this sort of thing. The lady who I pressume is the owner suggested antipasti and grilled lamb for 2. Sounded like a great idea, along with a 1/2 litre of local wine and a bottle of water. The flavour of the grilled lamb was very nice. The total bill was €54. Is this expensive? I thought so, but maybe it isn't.

21/09/2025: I went with a friend to the solarium with the pool, everything was very relaxing! The atmosphere was clean, including the bathrooms! For lunch, we ordered a chicken steak from the restaurant, and it was excellent! Highly recommended.

08/07/2025: Le Fiaccole was a favourite on its old site in L’Aquila. We have been so meaning to try out the new premises and the food. It was a very relaxed evening in the hands of people who know how to make people happy with food. A comprehensive wine lists, with many favourites.
