We were genuinely impressed by the bold, creative flavor combinations – like mortadella, burrata, pistachios, and herb sauces – everything was perfectly balanced and unexpectedly delicious. 01/08/2025: Il locale è un po' démodé, avrebbe bisogno di una sistematina, almeno per il bagno. Cucinano però un baccalà da applausi. Noi abbiamo preso solo baccalà, sia per gli squisiti antipasti, molto estivi, specialmente la panzanella, sia come piatto principale. Il mio baccalà al forno era per i miei gusti un po' troppo saporito, più delicati i ravioli di baccalà al pomodoro che ha preso mia moglie. Buono il vino della casa e discreti i dolci per un conto onesto.

23/07/2025: Nulla è cambiato dopo tanti anni che non tornavo più a "La Piazzetta": stessa qualità degli strepitosi piatti al baccalà, stessa accoglienza tipicamente abruzzese, prezzi sempre molto contenuti. Fantastiche le linguine al baccalà, ma anche il baccalà al forno. Pranzo di lavoro TOP.

11/07/2025: We had dinner tonight for the first time, but we'll definitely be back! I've been to many restaurants, but I've never felt as pampered as I did tonight (our waiter from Lecce was incredibly kind, even with our four-legged friend, helping us with all our different requests). The food was excellent. We had a hot aperitif, some first courses, arrosticini, and side dishes. Everything was excellent, except for one personal complaint (I would have preferred it to be cooked more thoroughly). The wine was also excellent. There were five of us, and we spent €120, including two bottles of water, plus wine and liqueurs. We'll be back!! The atmosphere was relaxing, with lots of greenery and outdoor space. Everything was taken care of with professionalism. See you soon!

23/05/2025: We were here on 17-05-25 visiting the historic center of Vasto and as soon as we parked the car we decided to have a coffee. First of all we went to the bathroom which were very clean and then exchanged a few words with the very nice ladies at the bar especially because we have never seen the croissant portions in half. They explained to us that they also divide the croissant in two so each customer can taste more flavors or even take only half without giving up the sin of gluttony. Well done. We had an excellent coffee and we reward above all for the friendliness of the girls. It has tables outside but protected because under the arcades.

05/08/2025: The staff is not very good, the food is mediocre. I don't recommend the paccheri with crab as it's tomato pasta. Avoid it also for parking reasons.

In questo piccolo angolo di paese ho trovato una cucina sorprendente: piatti curati in ogni dettaglio e preparati con ingredienti freschi, autentici e deliziosi. L’idea di abbinare un gin tonic diverso ad ogni portata è semplicemente geniale, un tocco che rende l’esperienza davvero unica. L’accoglienza è stata calorosa e un sevizio attento ma mai invadente. Consigliato per chi cerca un locale piccolo, intimo e originale. ci tornerò sicuramente.

09/05/2025: Clean restaurant, friendly staff, we enjoyed an excellent calzone and a pizza by the plate. The location is nice and in an excellent position in the center of Atri (enchanting city of art close to the Teramo coast, Atri has very ancient origins -7th-5th century BC -. It was an important colony in Roman times). We will certainly return and I recommend both booking at the Campana D'Oro, whose name derives from a historical fact, and visiting this center and admiring its beauties

08/07/2025: I first visited this restaurant in 1991. It was my first encounter with wonderful Chinese cuisine; I still have the bottle of sake I bought after dinner. It's with great sadness that I have to say this, but like almost everywhere these days, nothing Chinese remains. There's not a single flavor that reminds me of authentic Cantonese cuisine (there's very little flavor in general, just oil), the dishes are prepared with little love, sloppily, the quantities are excessive, they seem to have been prepared by chefs of other nationalities, no offense intended, of course: it's a question of technique and knowledge, and the person who cooked for me has no idea what Chinese cuisine is. In fact, the spaghetti wasn't even mixed well with the sauce; the basics, the ingredients, and the skill were completely lacking. The craze for all-you-can-eat sushi (or rather, what's sold as such in Italy) has completely destroyed Chinese dining. I understand that everyone has to get by and make money by offering what the public demands, but good heavens, what a low-class audience there is these days! How incredibly sad. There's not even Chinese music in the background anymore... the staff is kind but poorly trained, the waitress handed me plates and glasses directly, and it made me smile because she was so friendly, unaware of those completely inappropriate gestures. The food arrived before the drinks. The price is excessive considering all this. From an elegant and refined restaurant, it's now a sloppy fast food joint, with paper napkins and plastic plates.

21/07/2025: Last Thursday, on the precious advice of some acquaintances, we were coming from Rome and headed towards Campo di Giove, so we decided to detour through Sulmona to treat ourselves to lunch at Taverna de li Caldora. A choice that proved to be more than spot on. The inn, deliberately discreet and devoid of flashy signs, is a hidden gem in the heart of Pacentro. The historic building exudes an authentic atmosphere reminiscent of times gone by. The quality of the products is truly excellent. The dishes convey the authentic flavor of Abruzzo tradition, with fresh, carefully selected ingredients. The grilled lamb melted in the mouth, while the sagnette with sheep's milk ricotta were rich in character and expertly balanced. The service deserves special praise: attentive, courteous, and never intrusive. The staff proved extremely attentive, with a courtesy that is not only professional, but profoundly human. Making it all the more enjoyable is the location: overlooking the Peligna Valley, it offers a splendid panorama that pleasantly complements the meal. A lunch that lived up to high expectations; if you're looking for an authentic experience, far from the tourist circuits and full of soul, this is the place. A well-deserved five stars!

02/05/2025: We had lunch yesterday with friends at Capponcina: delicious lunch and spectacular location! For the first time I tasted seafood - really good. The fish first courses were exquisite and the kebabs tender and tasty. We had lunch in the garden, a corner of peace that seemed to make us already feel like we were on holiday. After lunch, you can easily reach the center with a pleasant walk. Compliments to the chef and the owner, who always welcomes you with a smile. We will definitely be back!

08/06/2025: Farmhouse and typical cuisine of the Abruzzo home and peasant traditions. The goodness of the dishes is equal to the friendliness and ability of the owner to tell them. Respected tradition, as "tradĕre", handed down from grandparents to future generations.

11/05/2025: Small family-run restaurant surrounded by nature among olive groves and vineyards. I spent a wonderful day with a large group of people which ended with a wonderful, super tasty home-made lunch based on typical local dishes. Worthy are the "pizz e foje" and the "rintrocili al ragù" accompanied by delicious local wines. Very kind and helpful staff. Special thanks go to Mr. Lorenzo who enlivened our lunch with the description of the recipes and the stories of local anecdotes. Super recommended farm!👏
