04/05/2025: Hotel, pizzeria and bar.... I can only review the bar, very nice and very good coffee, the barista Susy was very good and explained the blend to us, you can only find it on Saturday and Sunday for an excellent coffee;

30/04/2025: I spent a few days in Tortoreto Lido with my family and we stayed at the Hotel Villa Elena. More than a simple stay, it was an authentic and very pleasant experience. All the staff were kind and prepared. The reception is competently led by Valentina, always available together with colleagues Lorenzo, Franco and Gianfranco. A round of applause to the director, Mr. Giuseppe, for his professionalism, and a special thanks to Mrs. Giulia, who took impeccable care of the rooms. A note of merit goes to the cuisine: traditional dishes, prepared with genuine ingredients from the garden next to the hotel, cared for with passion by Mrs Maria, tireless and with over 50 years of experience, together with her collaborators in the kitchen and the waiters, always kind and attentive. By working smart, I was able to enjoy the tranquility of the common spaces and the peace of the garden, which made the days more relaxing and productive. I will definitely return, also to enjoy the brand new swimming pool and, given the proximity to the sea, not to miss the splendid sunrise again which offers different colors and emotions every morning. Highly recommended!

29/05/2025: A simple but tasty cuisine, just that "refuge" you look for when you want a good plate of pasta and the warmth of home. The staff is extremely friendly and kind, which makes the experience even more pleasant.

21/05/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant, I would say perfect for those looking for good food, serenity and authenticity. The food inside is a UNESCO heritage site, as it is cooked strictly by an elderly lady... typical grandmother's cuisine. Everything is served by two special, humble and kind boys. Another note of merit is the cleanliness. For those who find themselves in Barrea, we highly recommend this place. We will return without a doubt. Greetings from Trapani

18/05/2025: I am very attached to this pastry shop that I used to frequent when it was in the historic location in the center. The place is beautiful, welcoming, elegant and clean; as welcoming and friendly as the staff. We arrived here not by chance but specifically for dessert; unfortunately at that time the choice was not very varied and we chose some inviting bocconotti that although good, did not have that delicious filling typical of these fine Abruzzo sweets. We then had some cups of ice cream, that really excellent.

29/04/2025: I found this restaurant after a walk in the mountains and given the excellent reviews I decided to go and try it. They seated us immediately with kindness and friendliness, and that's not to be taken for granted, thank you! We ate some delicious homemade potato gnocchi with parmesan cream and gorgonzola with pistachios, while as a second course we had the kebabs, they were really of excellent quality, soft and cooked just right. 👏 Congratulations, we will be back soon and thanks for the excellent lunch! Fantastic!!

07/12/2024: Wir kamen hier auf unserer Fahrt nach Aquila vorbei und wollten für unseren Nachmittagskaffee div. Kuchenstücke kaufen. Die Behandlung durch das Personal war schon von Beginn an sehr merkwürdig. Vor allem ein männlicher Bediener wurde zunehmend arroganter, als er mitbekam, dass ich keine Italienerin bin und nur einen geringen Wortschatz in seiner Sprache hatte. O-Ton: wir sind hier in Italien! Er lachte mich regelrecht aus, als ich meine selektierten Kuchenstücke auf einem Tablett haben wollte, da noch eine längere Autoreise bevorstand. Letzten Endes durfte er seinen Kuchen behalten. Etwas später fanden wir eine Pasticceria, in der ich freundlich und mit gutem Gebäck bedient wurde.
