19/10/2025: Small, family-run restaurant. A few dishes, but very good. Prices are slightly high but acceptable. They might be a bit of a problem if you have a dog and it's not very quiet.

19/10/2025: We discovered La Foce during a stroll through the heart of Scanno, and immediately felt at home. We tried the cazzellitti con le fuoja (a type of pasta) and the sagnette con i fagioli (a type of pasta with beans): extraordinary dishes, prepared with such care and love that you can taste in every bite. Everything is homemade and cooked to order, a true culinary experience! The atmosphere is warm and familiar, the owners were extremely kind and welcomed us with great warmth. It's clear that a tradition is being carried on here with passion and dedication. We were delighted and can't wait to return. A must-see for anyone visiting Scanno who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine.

05/10/2025: Two first courses, including the one all'Aquilana: I wasn't familiar with the flavor, but it won me over. I'm from Veneto, and the tiramisu was tiramisu. The girls were very kind, and the atmosphere was very welcoming, with a clean bathroom. Everything else was great. Thank you.

One of the things I loved most is the diverse menu - seafood, meat, and vegetarian options - ensuring everyone can find something they love. I honestly wish I could give this place six stars instead of five; it’s absolutely remarkable and has truly left a lasting impression on me!

26/10/2025: I'm giving the service one star out of solidarity. You can't wait 3/4 of an hour for 4 bruschetta and a tray of cold cuts for two people, and the same for the first courses. We gave up the mixed roast, otherwise we would have left after 4 pm. It's a shame because the first courses were excellent and plentiful. I'm curious to know what happened in the kitchen, because the two waitresses were quick to serve.

03/09/2025: Excellent cuisine, always featuring seasonal dishes. Attentive and friendly staff, a stunning setting surrounded by greenery and a welcoming interior. The wine list offers a selection of at least a hundred wines, including mostly Abruzzo wines, Italian wines, and even a few from outside Italy. Soundproofing is available, and the restrooms are clean. Also suitable for those with food allergies.

21/09/2025: Very good traditional Abruzzo cuisine, attentive service, and very fair prices. We tried mixed bruschetta, tagliatelle with white ragù and porcini mushrooms, pan-fried lamb, arrosticini (excellent and low in fat), coppo potatoes and sautéed chicory, and the house coppa. Everything was truly excellent. Suitable for children.

22/11/2025: This excellent restaurant is located in the center of Sulmona. The quality of the ingredients is noteworthy, and the wine list is good. I didn't give it five stars because of the portion of pasta, which was truly minimal (so good it's a crime not to have eaten enough), and because of one of the two waiters who served us. A bit grumpy, while the other was helpful and friendly.

13/10/2025: After more than a year, I returned to this restaurant because the three or four previous visits had been good, including the atmosphere. Something must have changed: the portions were decidedly small, the quality had plummeted, and the prices were high for what you received. I was very disappointed and don't plan on returning, at least not anytime soon.
