11/05/2026: I discovered a true gem in the heart of Città Sant'Angelo: Hosteria Cavour. The location is simply marvelous: in the heart of the historic center, finely preserved, with splendid ancient vaults and sage-green walls that create an elegant, warm, and authentic atmosphere. A place that makes you fall in love as soon as you enter. Guglielmo's welcome is impeccable: courtesy, attention, and passion are evident in every detail. And then there's the extraordinary mastery of chef Stefania, capable of transforming every dish into an unforgettable experience. Everything is exceptional: the homemade walnut bread, the fragrant focaccia, the stewed onions, the stuffed mushrooms, the lamb livers, the chicory with pine nuts, the artisanal sausages, and the pecorino accompanied by homemade fig and chili jams... authentic yet sophisticated flavors. The homemade pistachio ravioli were spectacular, the steak cooked to perfection, the lamb was incredibly fresh, and the arrosticini were simply superb. The finale was worthy of applause: an exceptional cheesecake and a magnificent vin santo accompanied by homemade biscotti and tarallucci. All accompanied by an excellent wine that made the dinner perfect in every way. A place where you can feel the love for cuisine, tradition, and hospitality. An experience that will remain in your heart and that I recommend to anyone who wants to experience the best of authentic Abruzzo. We'll be back very soon.

10/05/2026: A very central venue, understated yet elegant. Attentive staff. Excellent grilled meats in every way. Reasonable prices, including the wines. As a half-recommendation, I'd say the menu could be a little more seasonal, but overall, the quality is more than good.

16/05/2026: Very ordinary pizza; I expected more. We ordered fries, and they arrived full of spices we hadn't asked for. The dough was also quite heavy, so it was a bad experience and we were very disappointed. I wouldn't go back.

23/04/2026: I have known this pizzeria for generations. The atmosphere is always nice and the service was so nice, but unfortunately the food was very unbalanced. However, it is to be appreciated that it does not have the same menu as all the other restaurants in the area. This restaurant is for those who want to eat something different.

16/03/2026: We went to this restaurant based on word of mouth. It was supposed to be just a taste test, but it turned out to be an excellent lunch. The fish was fresh, tender, and top-notch. The super-fresh raw seafood, served without excessive seasoning, perfectly showcased the quality and freshness of the fish. The hot dishes were also delicious and original, with combinations we'd never tried before. The fusillone with saffron, shrimp, and Centerba was especially delicious, with an impeccable balance of flavors. The dessert menu also offers a wide selection: homemade tiramisu with ladyfingers and a delicious Colomba semifreddo. Highly recommended!

28/05/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant in Lanciano on the recommendation of a friend and it was a great experience!! The very kind and friendly owners immediately made us feel at ease and even took care of our big dog. Tasty and plentiful dishes! The arrosticini were excellent!! The prices were more than fair! We'll definitely be back!! Thank you for everything!

25/05/2026: Hi, we discovered this place by hearsay, and I must say it was a very pleasant surprise. We started with the appetizers: anchovies and seafood salad, very fresh and delicious. Next up was Taranto-style mussels as part of the hot appetizer... honestly, I've never tasted so good! For our first course, we chose spaghetti with clams, served directly at the table in the pan: excellent, flavorful, and well-prepared. For our second course, we had fried fish accompanied by a mixed salad, all very good and well-cooked. A welcoming place, friendly service, and truly excellent quality of fish. Special praise also goes to our waiter, Emanuel, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, and who immediately put us at ease and gave us the best advice. We'll definitely be back!

15/03/2026: Good food, reliable and honest owners. You can find a bit of everything besides wood-fired pizza. Delicious arrosticini. Friendly and professional staff. There are plenty of tables, but reservations are strongly recommended. Ample outdoor parking is available. The restaurant has been open for decades and has always focused on traditional dishes.

Everything is meticulously maintained and well-kept, and given the size of the space, I can't even begin to imagine the hard work involved. Hard work that bears beautiful fruit—it's a corner of paradise, truly congratulations. Authentic food, balanced in its flavors, super generous portions, quick service despite the restaurant being full, and polite, cheerful, prompt, and lively waiters and waitresses. Congratulations to everyone. Highly recommended.
