01/09/2025: I have to say, it's a truly beautiful place on the outside and very cute inside. The road to get there is really inconvenient, bumpy, full of potholes, and unpaved in some parts. It needs improvement. The food was average (not exceptional, but not bad either), the price was fair despite the wine prices (€5 a glass of poor house red), the service was terrible, truly one of the worst I've ever had, the waiter was absent, clearly trying to kick us out, and unprofessional. I don't think I'll be back.

16/08/2025: Nestled in the beautiful hills of Morro d'Oro, the Country House features a small restaurant, a swimming pool, and a few rooms for overnight stays. This family-run establishment offers a menu sure to whet the appetites of the many tourists who visit (traditional local dishes such as arrosticini, fried cheese, and maccheroni alla chitarra with meatballs are complemented by a variety of creative dishes). I personally sampled some of the appetizers, including gnocchetti with porcini mushrooms and crispy pancetta, as well as an excellent sliced beef with yellow cherry tomatoes, arugula, and parmesan cheese. Brothers Michele and Gabriele provided us with a warm welcome, in addition to the restaurant's beautiful rural setting. Simplicity, friendliness, and professionalism are always synonymous with 5-star service!

21/09/2025: This is my second time getting takeout, and tonight it was the Smash Lucky Luciano Burger + fries (fresh chips) + drink (coke in a glass) for only €13.00, a super deal. What can I say? The burger was exceptional, one of the best I've ever had. The delivery was prompt, with top-quality boxes and bags—they really thought of everything. In August, my nephew from Australia told me, "Uncle, I ate the best burger of my life at this place." He was absolutely right!

18/09/2025: I went to this bar with a friend for a coffee, and I also had a pastry, but unfortunately there was an earthworm on it. The real problem? No apology from the staff after I pointed it out, just a justification saying "it's never happened before."

07/09/2025: We had lunch for two after a day in Villalago. We had fettuccine alla boscaiola, which was decent quality but lacked the mushroom flavor. We also had mixed roast beef, which was very thin and cold. Otherwise, it was average, with reasonable prices.

31/08/2025: We didn't sleep at this B&B, but we ate in the restaurant below. The atmosphere is clean, the staff friendly, and the food is traditional local, with reasonable prices. Between Lake Scanno and Lake San Domenico.

09/11/2025: A place that is nothing short of magnificent and elegant, even though I think it is dated in its existence, I had the pleasure of celebrating Halloween evening in this location with an organised package and with a small group of friends, taking advantage of the fact that there are also accommodations, we also stayed to sleep.

06/09/2025: We chose this location for our wedding and what can I say... We were pampered from start to finish. Piero is a wonderful person; he made us feel at home from start to finish and guided us through this year of preparations. Miriam and Elena are two amazing people, super organized and available to us. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food excellent, and our guests had a blast... we couldn't have asked for anything better for our wedding. A serene, cheerful, and happy atmosphere with cool hair and a wonderful light in their eyes. And then the desserts... unsurpassed. For a unique experience, I highly recommend them.

15/09/2025: A discovery in every way, off the beaten path but with exceptional value. They welcomed us on a Saturday evening without a reservation and served a special dinner. We followed Gian Piero's advice, and he prepared an excellent dinner for us. Overlooking the bike path, it has a splendid view and a family atmosphere. Recommended.

01/08/2025: A dive. Friday, overcooked, stringy fish steak. Very high prices considering you sit at a table with construction workers and leave smelling of fried fish.

17/11/2025: I was disappointed by the experience, despite the high expectations raised by the carefully curated images on the website. I ordered a "My Bowl," but was served a visually sloppy dish, with ingredients sloppily mixed, overly salty, and unbalanced: the salad and egg predominated, while the other ingredients were barely noticeable. I had asked about the salmon to avoid the overly fatty one, but I was served a very fatty slice of smoked salmon, simply "thrown" into the salad. The final bill (over €20, including a €2 cover charge) is unjustified, especially considering the lack of minimal tableware. It's a shame, because the idea is interesting, but the execution was decidedly disappointing.

23/10/2025: Good food, efficient staff, and a relaxing atmosphere (a stark contrast to the noise of other venues on Saturday nights). I recommend better ventilation, however; perhaps the kitchen should be better isolated from the dining area...

29/07/2025: Everything was excellent...from the atmosphere to the food, from the helpful staff to Fabio's friendliness!!! There's even a play area for kids...recommended!!!

25/09/2025: We were invited by one of the group, and we were expecting a home-cooked dinner in a typical local trattoria, but unfortunately, we quickly realized that good traditional Abruzzo cuisine is something else entirely. The appetizer was from a classic Abruzzo trattoria, acceptable even given our hunger. The focaccia served instead of bread was good. Tagliatella with mushrooms was a bit buttery but good. The mixed grill was overcooked, dry and stringy, almost inedible. Arrosticini? We suggest removing them from the menu so as not to offend Abruzzo and the people of Abruzzo, because arrosticini are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the one offered is far, far removed from the region's "rustella."

11/09/2025: We were here for dinner. A very friendly atmosphere and very nice hosts. Communication was a bit difficult because no one spoke English, and there wasn't an English menu. Still, everything was great; the food was really tasty. The portions were generous. The ham was truly delicious. The staff was super friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

18/12/2025: A charming and welcoming location reminiscent of a village square. Excellent arrosticini and spectacular Angus steak. Three beers (lager, waizen, and red) and both tap and bottled wine. Fast and clean service thanks to the owner, who is ready to welcome you with kindness and professionalism. The ideal place to spend an evening in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere.
