02/12/2025: All-you-can-eat was very good. One thing I didn't like was the abundance of rice in all the dishes. The rice-to-fish ratio was quite disproportionate, especially in the gunkan, but even in the nigiri it wasn't a joke. Another thing I didn't like were some of the waiters throwing plates. Otherwise, everything was very good, the food was very good. The atmosphere was very nice, with unique details like the robots, but I have to admit it's not the best in the area. Recommended ✅️
29/11/2025: Very large restaurant, they use small robots to serve the various dishes, which is perhaps a gem in the Pescara area. The service was fast, and the quality of the food is okay if you're looking for all-you-can-eat sushi.

22/09/2025: First the positive thing: as we got to The beach a little after noon we only had to pay 10€ for an umbrella & two chairs. That's it as far as positive goes. An hour later we became hungry and went to the restaurant. An hour after that we left the restaurant still hungry, ignored by the staff and not happy at all. Ok, it was Sunday afternoon and there were a couple of larger groups having lunch (having what looked like delicious seafood). As for us and a few other people: no service until a busy waiter came to us after an hour to tell us there weren't anything left for us to eat (there were some meat foods which we didn't come here for). This was news to an Italian couple next to us as we'll - they had probably been waiting even longer than us and had managed to order drinks (which we had not because the staff kept ignoring us). So: we love the Pineto beach but this place - never again.

25/10/2025: I'll start by saying that I'm a good eater and I never post negative reviews, but this experience can't be kept hidden, not talked about... If you want to live a medieval experience, here you are... to find it, you have to wander through the streets of the village. There is no sign that leads to the main entrance. You arrive at the end of the stairs at the beginning of the climb and you find a sign with an image of a tower and the name of the restaurant SEXTANTIO CUCINA as in the photo... there is no entrance with a sign, but it feels like knocking on the door of a villager... "Middle Ages" because there is no bell, but a simple metal ring and a wooden door... the NEW OWNERS should SPECIFY NEW MANAGEMENT... nothing that distant from the old one from a couple of months ago... the portions are as big as 85g cans of tuna. I appreciated the idea of ​​reliving the idea of ​​NOT THROWING AWAY as it once was. In the Middle Ages, everything was kept, recycled, yes. He worked and cooked in such a way as to make the food edible... certainly an innovative cuisine, a gourmet experience where every single raw material is worked with meticulous preparations and very creative presentations... but it's sad to admit it after a day in the mountains between walks, breathtaking views, this location certainly leaves you with an appetite worse than when you entered... surely you entered with a wolf's hunger and left with a bear's hunger... A SHAME because the memory of the place called LOCANDA SOTTO GLI ARCHI... well, only the arches remain... of a warm, welcoming inn with typical mountain dishes, nothing remains... the location is lit by candles 🕯 in true medieval style and a few light bulbs 💡 that pointed at the ceiling create soft light.. the flavor of the dishes is very particular, the combinations are very elaborate, prepared as in 3-Michelin-star cuisine, vacuum cooking, dried and grated lemon similar to bottarga... the meat is mainly cooked by boiling the chicken because the broth is welcome at the table before ordering your dishes.. hot to sip very slowly because obviously boiling broth.. to the dish of stewed goat ... the bill finally as for gourmet cuisine for two people 119 euros for two glasses of wine a liter of water an appetizer for one person a second course for two dessert for one coffee bitters for two and the portions could be defined as tastings two max three spoons and the dish the dessert is finished.. if you want to eat well and you are a little hungry it is certainly better to eat at the restaurant (il ristoro degli elfi) for a good beef steak or at the nearby restaurant (cuore nero food e relax) where the food and dishes are traditional local mainly based on truffles mushrooms and fill the empty stomach ... you have to try it to believe it .. a return to the Middle Ages in every sense and detail.. the waiters dressed in shirts and vests make their presentation and kindness worthy of 5 stars but a shame about the rest ... I do not recommend it.
01/10/2025: Exciting idea, disappointing execution The concept sounds interesting – traditional dishes reinterpreted. Unfortunately, the result was disappointing: spaghetti was bitter and tasted of grass, trout was oversalted, sheep's stew was unspectacular, and chicken was pale and sad. The "salad for dessert" (photo) was more curious than tasty. No deception or tourist trap – just very unusual dishes that we didn't particularly enjoy, even though we do enjoy experimental food. But the location is truly amazing, and the service is excellent, too.

24/08/2025: We returned to the ice cream shop with fond memories of last year, but we didn't get any help because we couldn't find the flavors without hassling the clerks. Of course, everyone had the same problem as us, and except for those who weren't regulars, we found ourselves constantly asking questions. Names like White Passion, Willy Wonka, Biscotti dei ricordi, Il primo bacio non si dimenticani, Sicilian Flavor, etc., etc. Not even being able to look inside the tubs... it was all a mystery. I hope to be able to return with a detailed description of the ingredients. Thank you for your attention.

26/09/2025: I had lunch today for two. I noticed that they don't provide a menu with prices, and there's no bread included. For two good first courses, a portion of fried food floating in oil, and two glasses of wine, it came to €60 in total, without a receipt. Your thoughts. I'd like to tell Valerio that this way, he can only survive on occasional customers, because it's unlikely anyone will consider returning.

29/10/2025: I stopped by one morning for a simple breakfast with my son, but unfortunately the experience wasn't a positive one. The place seemed very disorganized: there was one person at the counter managing many things—preparing drinks, liaising with suppliers—while a very young, visibly inexperienced and fearful young man was trying to help him as best he could, and a woman who seemed to be there to buffer the breakfast rush. Even though the bar wasn't crowded, the wait was long, and the overall atmosphere was confusing. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but I think the owner should avoid centralizing everything on himself and rely on a couple of trained people and learn to delegate. Only in this way, by giving people trust and responsibility, can a business be managed by a leader and not a boss.
