12/09/2025: Authentic trattoria, where we ate AMAZING arrosticini! Also excellent were the cacio e ovo balls, the ravioli with ventricina, the cured meats and cheeses appetizer, and the pasta with lamb sauce. Very friendly staff, excellent prices. Children's playground, large garden, outdoor seating, and an indoor dining room.

16/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, simple yet quaint location. The seafood dishes are well-prepared, made with top-quality ingredients, and are plentiful. The menu is extensive and the prices are absolutely competitive. Highly recommended.

25/10/2025: The restaurant feels a bit dated, but it's clean and decorated in a nautical style. Adequate space between tables and well-lit. Fast and informal service, very friendly and helpful wait staff. Simple, well-cooked dishes and generous portions are what set this restaurant apart.

11/03/2026: A historic establishment, but one that has been severely neglected by its owners. The pastries are poor and subpar, including a factory-made bomb, and the coffee costs €3.30. There's no added value to justify the price, considering the decor and professionalism. A shame, in the center of Chieti.

08/03/2026: What can I say? We had a wonderful evening at this venue, celebrating a 40th birthday, with a delicious aperitif and dinner, and an impeccable DJ. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommended, a well-deserved 5 stars. Thanks again!

21/01/2026: The restaurant is a bit out of the ordinary; from the outside, you can't tell it's a restaurant. 🙂 Very good food, fast service, and good prices. The arrosticini are excellent.

28/11/2025: We found everything excellent, from the various types of arrosticini to the pizza. They also have a nice selection of wines. We'll definitely be back.

21/11/2025: Family dinner on Saturday night. The pizza arrived after two hours! How is it possible there's only one pizza chef on a Saturday night?! The appetizers and arrosticini were good, but the gourmet pizza was barely edible, at least the Tricolore pizza we ordered. We won't be back.

26/12/2025: A welcoming and quaint place, with friendly and helpful staff. Generous portions of delicious, traditional Lucanian food. Highly recommended!

26/12/2025: Disappointed, in fact, I'll never return. Cold, watery first courses, raw, flavorless rice. The entire location needs a makeover, it's terrifying. Any advice? Stay away. Absolutely nothing.

09/03/2026: At the foot of the mountain, with a stunning view, Chalet del Bosco is a must-visit for skiers hungry for excellent cuisine in the warmth. The food is good and the price is reasonable. The staff is friendly and always available to find a solution, even when it seems like there's nothing available. It gets very busy on weekends, but for good reason.

12/01/2026: I remembered it being an excellent pizzeria, but the restaurant was a surprise! Fantastic tempura artichokes, tagliatelle with beef ragù, as exceptional as the ones with mushrooms. And generous portions. A welcoming, well-kept atmosphere. Well done!

28/12/2025: I went to this restaurant to eat a pizza and I assure you that I strongly advise against it. Dry pizza without ingredients. I took it with boiled potatoes, sausage and mozzarella, the latter non-existent and the potatoes on top and the sausage were just crumbled and the cost was the only abundant thing. NEVER AGAIN

03/12/2025: I got takeout pizza. They were very friendly and really quick. The pizza was good and cooked just right. The price was good. The ingredients weren't exceptional, but they were excellent value.

30/11/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality and quantity of the food. The service was quite fast even though the place was busy. A word of advice... when ordering, remember that the portions are very generous 😅😅.

19/08/2025: An absurd waste of time, lousy service. I went in to ask for two ham and mushroom pizzas, but they weren't there. As I was leaving, the girl said, "I'll have them made for you." While I waited, I asked for two hot dogs, but she literally ignored me, as she was busy checking her phone. After 15 minutes of pointless waiting in the heat—the place is literally a baking oven and you can't breathe—she told me the pizzas were made with potatoes and sausage. 15 minutes wasted. She and the pizza chef were both slackers. Luckily, there's a store on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.

28/08/2025: Family-run pizzeria and restaurant, simple and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful; we felt right at home. Recommended for those looking for an authentic experience. Good prices!

24/01/2026: MY SON AND I STOPPED AT THIS PASTRY SHOP WE TOOK TWO MINIATURE PASTRIES IT'S A SOCILAN CASSATINA WHILE MY SON EATS A PIECE HE SPITS IT OUT BECAUSE IT TASTED LIKE RANCIS IT WAS SURELY FROM THE BEFORE YESTERDAY 😤😬😡🤮 THE ONE I TOOK ALSO TASTED LIKE OLD THE CREAM WAS DRY AND IT TASTED LIKE RANCIS 🤮😡😬😤👎🏽 2 MINI MINI PASTRIES €2.40 IT'S A CASSATINA €3.50 IF IT WAS NOTHING THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE TOO HIGH BUT OLD PASTRIES SHOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT BE SOLD TO THE PUBLIC AT ALL MY OPINION THEY SHOULD BE REMOVED AND FRESH ONES INSERT POOR QUALITY VERY POOR QUALITY FRESHNESS EQUAL TO 0 I REALLY DON'T THINK WE'LL GO THERE AGAIN 🤮👎🏽 I'M SORRY TO HAVE SPENT MONEY AND NOT BEEN SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT WE HAD LEFT ON THE TABLE I EVEN FORGOT TO TAKE PHOTOS 🤦🏻‍♀️ HOWEVER AS ADVICE YOU HAVE COMMITTED TO ALWAYS TELL CUSTOMERS THAT THE PASTRIES ARE NOT FRESH BUT THAT THEY ARE OLD FROM A DAY OLD THEN A CUSTOMER DECIDES WHAT TO DO, (TOO BAD IT WAS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT FOR US).

21/02/2026: We read the reviews and decided not to trust the critics: WISE CHOICE! We enjoyed an excellent lunch, typical and well-presented, served with professionalism, helpfulness, and kindness. We appreciated the rustic setting, the informal and welcoming atmosphere, the immaculately clean facilities, and the pet-friendly nature. The arrosticini, both meat and liver, are truly remarkable, handmade and served hot in the traditional terracotta dish. Federico, the manager and waiter, is very helpful and passionate about his work, so much so that he even managed to introduce us to local dairy products and offer them for purchase. The freshly baked apple pie was also incredibly tasty and plentiful. Furthermore, we've never had such good giardiniera: not at all acidic and perfect with the chickpea cream. We'd love to return! Thank you for the wonderful and delicious experience; we're truly delighted.
