22/07/2025: A lovely rustic restaurant in the center of Pescara. The menu ranges from salads to pizzas, from pasta dishes to arrosticini. Everything is top-quality. Definitely worth a try.

21/07/2025: Great place, very friendly staff. We had excellent pizza, but they serve a lot of locally raised meat.

24/08/2025: Group of about 20 adults. Beautiful location, easy to get to both inside and out, nice looking business. Fixed menu, the same for other groups as well. Appetizers were always missing a portion; after we had to adjust and ask several times, they finally brought the portions all at once. The tagliatelle were good, but a forkful or so per person. Ravioli were the same, but with a very fatty sauce. The mixed roast meat wasn't the best. Overall, the food was poor, but some of the dishes were good. The price was EXCESSIVE, compared to the food, €40 per person.

19/08/2025: Summer Sunday with friends...very nice location, recently renovated and enlarged with some final works still to be done...shame about the thousands of wasps that were flying and moving around the edge of the pool, I would even say quite dangerous in case of allergies to stings...sufficient lunch outside

15/07/2025: I stopped for lunch, 97 degrees outside, ready to enjoy a quiet meal with my dog (mini, in his carrier). On Google, the business clearly states "we accept dogs." Too bad, as soon as I entered, they rudely and rudely ushered me out. The lady at the entrance? More unpleasant than the heat outside. Zero welcome, nonexistent kindness. Instead of resolving the issue or at least explaining it politely, they chose to hastily kick me out. Conclusion: if you love dogs, and especially if you like being treated like human beings, avoid it. There are many other places where courtesy is still the order of the day (and where you won't be melted like mozzarella in the sun). Rating: 1 star, but only because zero is impossible.

30/08/2025: I'm giving one star because I can't give zero. We went for a simple breakfast. It took 15 minutes just to take our order, with the table completely dirty from someone who had breakfast before. I should point out that my wife is nine months pregnant. After ordering, another 15 minutes had passed, I got up and asked for an explanation, but the rudeness of the person behind the counter only made me leave. Thank you for the wonderful experience and for the kind treatment of a pregnant woman.

14/08/2025: It's clear that the bar is still a desperate attempt to squeeze money from its regulars. The service leaves much to be desired, especially when the waitress, apparently in her eighties, is on duty. Most of the regulars avoid the bar as soon as she's on duty. Her disgruntled attitude certainly doesn't inspire anyone to linger there for a coffee. I've often heard regulars complain that she's arrogant and even offensive when it suits her. Every year, the bar loses its atmosphere and quality. Besides the miserable state of the bathroom, it's clear that the bar is only surviving thanks to the presence of older customers, who continue to support it financially. The owners apparently have no interest in investing or changing anything in this bar. It's sad that a beautiful town like Colonnella is decaying like this. Well, a bar is never alone in this town. A story about us: A few days ago, my husband and I were at the bar, and an incident bordering on the ridiculous occurred. We were speaking to each other in German, and a German family nearby apparently overheard some inappropriate language, which, given the presence of their children, they didn't like. We didn't know whether there were other German-speaking people nearby. However, the co-owner pointed out to my friend, an Italian and longtime regular, that German tourists had complained. My friend approached them and said in German that he didn't know there were Germans present and that children of that age (it was almost 11 p.m.) should be in bed by now. The woman's German partner stood up and almost raised his hands (his first mistake). The employees, unable to assess the situation and apparently devoid of any real emotion in their lives, called the owner. The latter, also lacking social skills, raised his voice at my friend and became aggressive. When the eighty-year-old waitress (N.) tried to talk about us to a retired police officer present, my friend asked her to stop. At that point, the German tourist, who has an aggressive problem and loves to raise his hands, approached my friend and grabbed him by the neck (second mistake). Since my friend is used to such situations, he did nothing, because whoever raises their hand first starts. The retired police officer warned the German tourist that he would be arrested if he didn't calm down. The incompetent employees, who apparently couldn't find any other job besides this, called the owner, who banned my friend from the establishment. Banning a longtime regular who expresses his opinion without becoming aggressive is highly reprehensible. The employees are probably incapable of assessing situations objectively and choose the path of least effort. 100% incompetence. Form your own opinion, but this bar will have one less customer now. PS: The waitress (N.) would be better off asking for her pension rather than venting her dissatisfaction on the customers and the village residents. She's damaging the bar's image. No one comes for her. Many come for the owner, but after this story, even his likability is in question.

11/08/2025: A very nice little bar with a nice view, a very kind waitress for a very reasonable price, 19 euros for 4, with two cocktails, a non-alcoholic cocktail and a coke

29/08/2025: The place was private, but overall nice. The waiter was kind and friendly, although he made a few mistakes throughout the evening, but he always made up for it admirably. The food was very good, but especially the Pallotte cacio e ova was the best we had during our stay in Pescara! Why not, a quiet evening with good food, I highly recommend it.

22/08/2025: Unreasonable prices!! When they see a group of kids, they flat-rate... Arrosticini, bruschetta, and two pitchers of beer cost €300 in total. €37.50 each. Definitely too much.

23/06/2025: Always a beautiful confirmation to have an aperitif here. I have been coming here for years now and it is always pleasant to drink a good “champagnino” that is wine, soda, lemon and ice, typical of Abruzzo, accompanied by a nice stuffed focaccia. Excellent. All with a beautiful view of the mountains of the Maiella park. I will continue to return.
