25/06/2024: I came to Cepagatti during my summer holidays, specifically to visit this splendid work. I had already browsed through some photos, but obviously being able to see it in person was a much greater emotion. It is an ancient building, built on the remains of an important Roman villa, which was built and modified in several periods, from 1600 to 1800. What is immediately striking is first of all the extraordinary level of conservation of each architectural element: the body central part of the castle, the dominant tower and the adjacent chapel as well as the arches, the characteristic battlements and the balconies. An unmistakable distinctive sign of this building, although not very relevant from an artistic point of view, is the decoration in the upper part, made with sequential circles of different colours. Passing in front of the facade and going around the ancient complex, it seems to be in the period of greatest splendor of the town, well represented by the numerous murals on the walls of the surrounding houses. Probably few know this beautiful village and unfortunately having little consideration for a town that does not possess a high number of historical elements is a sadly common curse and many truly magnificent places risk often being overshadowed; this is why we must have particular admiration for those who possess the patience and dedication in valorising these precious historical-cultural heritages. Given the notable proximity (the people of Pescara don't mind me, given the well-known archaic rivalry...), you can also consider visiting Chieti, a city rich in history. I only have one modest negative consideration to make: unfortunately some trees severely limit the view of the castle, right on the side of the main facade and it would therefore be appropriate to remove them or at least prune them radically (thousands of them are cut down, everywhere and for no reason and wanting to leave these right here in front intact would not be ideal). I hope to be able to visit this magnificent building also inside, which is not yet possible at the moment but overall I was very satisfied with this discovery.

16/08/2024: Nice place, where you frankly enjoy yourself well. During the stay I ordered, Negroni, Moscow Mule and Tequila Sunrise. Test definitely passed, excellent cocktails! Tomorrow I'll try to see if they can make me a White Russian😉

07/07/2024: Quick stop on a long journey. I found the staff to be courteous, a good choice of snacks and a very clean place. Delicious coffee! Very low prices (33cl cans €1.50, I haven't seen this price in a long time) Well done!

21/07/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante dell’hotel appena arrivati a pescasseroli. Ottimo menù, buona selezione dei vini e vasta scelta anche per il senza glutine.

20/07/2024: Sono tre generazioni che veniamo a Pescasseroli , Plistia rimane sempre il numero 1, ancora conduzione familiare. Gianpietro e famiglia sono speciali e affettuosi. Le “Master chef” Anna e sorella in cucina ancora come una volta. Prodotti di altissima qualita’ , servizio veloce e inpeccabile. Sempre un piacere. Difficile trovare posti del genere in Italia. Consiglio il maialino da latte, carciofi alla griglia, patate arrosto cotte con cipolla olive pomodoro e eglia, la pera cotta con sorpresa, la crema pasticciera all’arancia e tanto altro!!!!! Siete il nostro ristorante preferito. Scritto da clienti molto esigenti!!!

24/08/2024: TOP roasts. The first courses are a bit poor (it seems like they cook the pasta and pour the condiments on top at the end). The meat is good.

11/08/2024: What can I say, the food isn't too bad, unfortunately the trout was a disappointment. For the cost I expected something more, but instead they gave me half a trout and it was also overcooked. Definitely overpriced for what I got.

18/08/2024: I stayed at this hotel with high expectations, but was extremely disappointed. The staff have been incredibly rude and unprofessional since our arrival. Not only were they unavailable to answer our questions, they also seemed annoyed by our requests for basic information. Breakfast was a total disaster. The choice was very limited and the quality of the food was terrible. The products were evidently of poor quality and, in some cases, even looked old and few hot dishes available were cold and tasteless. For what we paid, I definitely expected more. This hotel is absolutely not worth the money spent. I strongly advise against staying here, there are definitely better options in the area. I will never go back there again.

18/08/2024: Hotel in an excellent location, very nice...clean and excellent food...compliments to the entertainment and everything in general. I recommend it to families with children

10/08/2024: I tried the ice cream and I must reluctantly say that I didn't find anything special, furthermore I wasn't even asked if I liked cream on the ice cream. Ice cream anonymous to me.

30/07/2024: We also tasted ice cream in other places in the area....but nothing to do! The Anselmo ice cream shop lets you taste real artisanal ice cream!!!

25/08/2024: Two people €110.....two starters, a first course, a fried dish and 4 glasses of wine... They don't have a menu to see the prices....they are listed by the waitress on duty.... Medium-low quality of the fish ..... Chitarrina with lobster was presented to me with two claws closed but the lobster was still .... In my opinion I do not recommend ..... Nice place ..... But little attention to the dishes and about customers....

13/07/2024: Pizza and fried foods are as delicious as the people who run this business. Although the house is not too close to the pizzeria, the pizzas arrived piping hot and on time, the driver was very kind and polite

23/07/2024: Recommended for groups of children or quick and cheap school dinners, but not for spending an evening with friends amidst friendliness and professionalism, sorry for the pizza which is also good, compliments only to the pizza chef, everything is brought down by the context of the place! 14/07/2024: Friendly and very professional staff, delicious food such as the slices and pizza which are top notch, moderately average prices in a location with lots of parking spaces, the only flaw is the place which, although large, is not exactly new and a bit decadent

28/08/2024: Terrible, to be avoided like the plague, we went for lunch, just to get something to eat, we ordered seafood salad, mixed fried fish and stuffed mussels, they served us frozen, hard and rubbery fish which made us feel ill shortly after .. I don't understand the reason to keep open a bar/restaurant that offers such poor quality. Not recommended, I give one star because otherwise Google won't accept/upload the review from me, but it deserves 0 stars
